Before my time, I'm only 51 but I remember some years ago being given a tape of Jackie singing when you walk in the room, which I prefered to the Searchers. I remember that same friend who gave me the tape describe her to me as a superior version of Kirsty McColl. A poor choice of words, she was up there with the likes of Dusty Springfield and Lulu. Surprising she never became big in the UK. In the looks dept she's matching Brigitte Bardot and writes some of the great songs. She would b epic now
