not really, think about it..... Radio music is mass produced... its about making money, but with illegal downloading they don't make much money off record sales any more. SO therefore new releases are being push out by the month.... Most of this music won't be remembered like music from the 60s 70s and 80s.... So this song does what its meant to do..... Easy listening..... make a small bit of cash and it will be forgotten about in a year or two (unless your a big killers fan)

Hmm the thing about The Killers is I rather listen (and SEE!) them live then listen to their recordings though they're good too.

Brandon always adds something when he performs live whether it is how he sometimes deviates from the tune but still sounds amazing or in this performance, he seems out of breath. But that gives Tranquilize the perfect atmosphere - more intense and passionate with Dave on acoustic guitar.

I think that they could be one of the best bands of the last 20 years, maybe 30. You can hear the influences but at the same time the way theyv'e put their music together it is always new and exciting. Simply fantastic. Loved Hot Fuss, Sam's Town, Sawdust and I think Day and Age is incredible. Certaintly one of the best bands in the world right now.

No, he's a reasonable although almost always flat singer, with a fairly limited range in both pitch and dynamics, and often seems to be straining (and sometimes failing) to reach or hold notes. I also prefer the original version of this song but it might be because of the singing children, lou reed and desolate sound that make it sound much more eerie and chilling. Still, possibly their best song and a better live performance than most popular bands these days :)
