@trumpetfruzia I think so too. It jumped out at me over all the songs I heard before and stayed with me for two decades. and it jumps a lot more than "so this is love" which kind of lies flat in comparison. The skippy melody probably would've been great for kids. And all the sentiments are there with the image of dancing on air.
btw I love the Sleeping Beauty Waltz lyrics thay did. And this one already had the words. It could've been as popular along with the theme song at the start.

@123GaGarox Actually I think he looks too young to use that kind of language. Is it just me, or does anyone else think the prince seems too alter age in Disney's Cinderella?
Bowing :20 he looks about twenty young but adult. 1:36 Doesn't that look like a man in his thirties? Does that look like the same man at :20? I don't think so.
By the time he gets crowded he looks like a pathetic toddler on his tip toes whining "I can't see." LOL Okay 3:00 he looks about 16 physically, but 10 in maturity
I just noticed something. Can the slippers be worn on both sides? She took off the slipper on her LEFT foot for the LEFT slipper that got broken, and then they put on the RIGHT slipper on her LEFT foot?
@Infantcide If 'Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister' is anything to go by, it works, because they were in Holland, and the traditional wooden clogs were made to fit both feet- at least, I'm pretty sure. And I assume that would apply to glass clogs, too. :D Granted, they weren't glass in that book, but the points still there.
On march 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th I have the cinderella play and I am really excited!!! I love my part!!!! I know u guys dont care but it is my first time because it is my first year in middle school!!!!!!!!
@nishacyrus98 LOL I'm in high school and we just finished our run of Cinderella last night. XD It was fantastic, and Paulo even came to watch! He's here for The King and I at another theatre, but we pulled some string and he was able to come see. Too bad I couldn't meet him, I was too busy working the lights. XD
@Emi212 You're SERIOUS?? Well, I think it's good enough that he came to see YOUR show! It must have been a pretty spectacular show! I remember when my high school did "Cinderella". To this day, I think it's one of the best shows that they ever did, and it's so nostalgic to hear this music from the 1997 movie, too!!
The Rodgers & Hammerstein Library owns the music for their Cinderella and Disney owns the cartoons. They do not like each other. It is too bad as this video proves the two can work!
@brooklyn11d9 Well remember this both was made in 1940 and it is based in a medieval land....I'm thinkin baggy pants weren't exactly in during either time.
@seizetheday224 I totally agree!!! Why wasn't he on the coach going after her and back tracking all over? She couldn't WALK home that fast! He could've at least gone with the aide to try the slipper on everyone. Wouldn't he want to find the one he recognized? That's what they call, "He won't rest until he finds her!"? He didn't do anything. LOL-Shaking My Head. Old Disney seemed to think girls were in love with the idea of a prince more than a guy with real substance. The crown, gown, and castle

@seizetheday224 ....Old Disney catered to the little baby girls in these tales. HONESTLY! The king and his aide were more engaging than the prince. Prince Phillip in Sleeping Beauty was much more charming and showed some personality, but even he was somewhat lacking in the fight. The fairies did it all. We want to see DEVOTION! FIGHT TO SAVE THE ONE YOU LOVE! MEN & WOMEN BOTH! TOGETHER! We finally got that starting with the Little Mermaid & Aladdin. They finally learned what women/girls want.
i love how brandy did this little pop thing with her voice when she sang...but what sux is that nobody else sang like that...exept the fairy goddmother.
@kemai100 you did. you forced me back to this suckfest that I had forgotten about 4 months ago by sending me a note about it. why would you do that? why would you jump into a conversation, uninvited, that ended for MONTHS AGO?
p.s. I didn't "look for it", originally, I searched for "putrid pile of green diarrhea" and this clip came up. (try it - it works every time!)
i HATE to ask! but do you have this song that you could send to someone aka me? because i've been looking for this song everywhere and i cannnnotttt find the mp3 version of it to put on my ipod :(

Lovely song and you matched it well with Disney's Cinderella. :)
