  • @L1ngPOe I have the Foghat blues show on DVD

It was actually Eddie Kirkland who did that, not Muddy.

  • A great great song, even tho most of us cant be handlin substances for cures. But the song- which is truly owned by Muddy and his pards.. rules. and no doubt its a standard up in the friendly skies.

  • Pinetop Perkins 1913 - 2011 Thank you!!! 98 years old. G-D Bless him!!!

  • Willie Big Eyes Smith drums, Bob Margolin (g.) on Muddy's right.....I believe it's Luther "Guitar Junior" (g.) on Muddy's left and Calvin Jones on bass and of course pinetop on the keys.

  • That's Willie Smith on drums, isn't it? When in 1980 did he leave the band?

  • God bless you Pinetop. RIP Pinetop Perkins July 7, 1915 to March 21, 2011.

  • Zya All once in Blues Heaven!

  • Rest In Peace, Pinetop

  • The first time I saw Muddy Waters was on Don Kirshners Rock Concert on T.V. along with Foghat. Muddy dropped to the floor and got to rockin back and forth on his back, almost coming to his feet, then he rolled over backwards, landed on his knees and never missed a chord! The whole place stood up! The next album I bought was his and I still have it 30+ years later. He ranks with the greats,No Doubt.

Thanks for posting this! I would never have seen it otherwise!

  • @L1ngP0e I wonder what happened to all those Don Kirshner shows ?, they don't seem to have been shown again or come out on DVD.
