I had the honor of serving with Spc Acosta. He was a excellent soldier and a great friend. And everyone in Killer Troop 4th Squadron 2nd Stryker Calvery Regiment Are honored to call Spc. Acosta are brother in arms.
@spcbaldwin84 I'm so thankful to have people like you to serve our country. Thank you. I'll be enlisting soon and proudly stand beside you in spirit or literally if we cross paths.
My family and I were very moved by the support the Santa Clarita community has shown. Seeing all the people along the way brought tears to our eyes. Rudy would have been proud of his town.
It's never easy to loose a loved one, but knowing that he served for such a great country helps ease the pain.
I am truly saddened that I could not attend this memorial for a true hometown hero. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Acosta family. May God be a shining light to you during these seemingly dark days. Thank You Rudy Acosta
@darkblueyoshi1138 mixmastterr stabbee? is that youu? praying for you. you john ali julia and everyone else have been such an inspiration to me lately. <3
I just want to say how proud I am of Santa Clarita. Although I currently live in Nevada, I consider Santa Clarita my home town, my children went to Santa Clarita Christian, and I lived there for 30 years. The outpouring of love and support for this family brought me to tears. Thank you Santa Clarita for a moving tribute to this family who has given the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
Praise God for Rudy. My two kids now grown attended SCCS. Our family produced and aired the first television show IN Santa Clarita and it was Christian Based..... which turned into creating 6 more of like programs. Praise God. Praise God Rudy was SAVED. THIS IS THE BIGGEST COMFORT NOW TO THE FAMILY.
I'm sure his family appreciated the outpouring of support by our church and the community. My faith in my country has been restored. BTW, that is Rudy in the Afghan sunset at the end. How appropriate is that?
What a wonderful tribute. I was there and watched Rudy's procession pass, it was the most moving experience. Thank you Rudy, and God bless the Acosta family!
A very moving video tribute to a brave young man. My condolences to all of Rudy's loved ones.
