I love this!!!! St.Thomas is my home away from home, I use to live on tortola and always used STT as my departure airport.... I am obsessed with planes do dream on becoming a pilot in the future, well its all i dream. I can tell almost any aircraft by just giving it one look. Really hope on becoming part of AA's team one day
I've flown into this airport (as a passenger). You look out your window and it looks like you're going into the water. It just gets closer and closer. At the very last minute, the runway appears.

It's either the 212 or 212A I don't recall. The 212A is the same as the 500.

It's the same for St Maarten and Tortola (and many other Caribbean Islands). Gets kinda scare ;)
