Clubber had no endurance and thus tries to finish his opponents off early. Drago throws a punch of 2,000 psi and can take a LOT of punishment. I'd be surprised if it took longer for Drago to knock Lang out than it took Rocky in their 2nd fight.

Great vid. Even though these were just movies, realistically, if Clubber and Drago fought, Drago would win because styles make fights. Unlike Apollo, Clubber was physically capable of standing up to Drago's best punch, roids or no roids. However, Drago was not merely a puncher. Drago could box for 15 rounds if he had to, using his height and reach advantage over Clubber. Clubber, for all his brute strength was just a puncher with no defensive skills who would run out of gas well b4 the 15rd.

Clubber was strong but not nearly as strong as Drago was. Clubber was all about offense. He'd come right out of the corner swinging and used that same right hook until the other guy was too battered and bloody to fight back. Drago, on the other hand, used his left fist like a battering ram and relied on his freakish punching power to beat, or in Apollo's case, kill his opponent. I'd say the fight would go 7 rounds at the most. Lang would put up a tough fight, but Drago's too strong.

The only way Clubber would beat drago was if he did what Rocky did and that was break his spirit but i could not see that happening Clubber was just tough ass street slugger.

Clubber had no endurance and thus tries to finish his opponents off early. Drago throws a punch of 2,000 psi and can take a LOT of punishment. I'd be surprised if it took longer for Drago to knock Lang out than it took Rocky in their 2nd fight.

Clubber would win because he had more confidence then Rocky, and plus clubber hits just a lil bit less then Drago. But Clubber has an attitude the Drago couldnt predict and Clubber would tear him up late. Drago might be stronger, but Clubbers more aggresive

Great vid. Even though these were just movies, realistically, if Clubber and Drago fought, Drago would win because styles make fights. Unlike Apollo, Clubber was physically capable of standing up to Drago's best punch, roids or no roids. However, Drago was not merely a puncher. Drago could box for 15 rounds if he had to, using his height and reach advantage over Clubber. Clubber, for all his brute strength was just a puncher with no defensive skills who would run out of gas well b4 the 15rd.

I think it would be a tough fight, lang doesn't have stamina and that was really his biggest weakness, but it takes a lot to bring him down, although drago is strong he would have to wear him down still, and in the meantime we can't forget that lang was quite a bit more powerful than balboa, balboa had to use his head to slowly wear him down instead of straight up taking it to him like in the first fight

still apollo was the only one who really battered and almost won with him. rocky 1 & 2 , you can see how badly rocky was hurt. but in lang and drago, it wasnt that much comparing to apollo

Smart money's on Lang. Drago had great power, but he cut easily and had no D. Lang is also a black American fighter from the 80s, so that doesnt hurt. As much as the fans hated Lang, you know as soon as these 2 got in the ring, all you would here is USA! USA!

Clubber was strong but not nearly as strong as Drago was. Clubber was all about offense. He'd come right out of the corner swinging and used that same right hook until the other guy was too battered and bloody to fight back. Drago, on the other hand, used his left fist like a battering ram and relied on his freakish punching power to beat, or in Apollo's case, kill his opponent. I'd say the fight would go 7 rounds at the most. Lang would put up a tough fight, but Drago's too strong.

@collin355 no i'm not saying that but we did not see Clubber taking steriods in Rocky 3 did we, however we did see Drago having them injected into his shoulder. Drago's punching power was just freakish, it was not normal for a boxer to have that kind of strength.

@GeneralSirDouglasMcA actually, fyi, many boxers in history registered punches higher than Drago. Per square in Tyson, Foreman, Shavers, Smith, etc, all hit harder than Drago. The trick is not getting hit with the full force of a puncher like that. Most of us realize by now however that Rocky IV was just a movie and we all take it in as good fun.
