@smurfman234 some will add a binding agent in with it but a lot of times they don't.Plant matter has this natural thing called lignon that will bind it together like glue when it is heated to the right temp. that is how most pellets stick together is through this heating process with the hot spinning die in the pelleting machine
i think they burnt fine,if you would have had some small air blower underneath it they would have stayed lit and have burnt hotter without the added torch.
