  • sometimes the pain is unbearable, but only if your scoliosis is severe. however, my curve was reduced from 62 degrees to 42 degrees in less than a month. this is by far the best scoliosis treatment i've had.

  • does this hurt?

  • @birthdaykid33 hey after surgery you can still do sports after you can even go on the trampoline the only thing you cant do is go bungee jumping im getting my surgery this summer and the hospital gave me a book to read all about it and the only thing is that u can only do these sports from 1 to 3 years after surgery depending on your recovery

  • I wish I can fix my scoliosis but I can't because of money issue mine is above 40 degrees

  • When we are in flexed position, body can take more trauma than normal or extending position.

sometimes we are left out in this position because body recognizes there is still outside trauma. this is called, "Memory of trauma" which each part of cells leading to tissues memorize the state of muscle contractions. Back to your story, do you have anterior head position and hyperkyphotic curve when you are standing and relaxing?

  • Dura matter has strong attachment to Upper cervicals(occiput, first and second vertebrae) sacrum and coccyx. when there is tension in dura, body try to relieve this tension by twisting spines(scoliosis) to make it shorter so positions of upper cervicals and sacrum and coccyx are now misaligned, and thoracic and lumbar spines have curvature. Scoliosis can be caused by wrong use of body(flexing and working on heavy objects) or body goes into a guarding state for outside trauma.

  • when you are in flex position, it causes more tension inside of spine called dura matter.

your case seems to originate from flex position. You need to free up inside of spinal cord by ABC, and deep tissue work such as Rolfing.

I would make an appointment with ABC chiro and Rolfing. No i do not know what shirley sahmann's work. PTs work often produce great results after all other problems are dissolved. Each component of dysfunctions need to be broken down by each specialist.

  • Upper cervicals misalignments lead to misalignments of down bones(vertebrae) and pelvic bones.

also it can occur vice versa.

when pelvic bones are misaligned, then everything up will be affected.

if you want to hear more about it, or have questions, send me

    messages.

  • have you even heard about Idiopathic scoliosis?

well, it is idiopathic to medical,

and it is not idiopathic to well trained chiropractic.

when any of your joints are not functioning, they send a wrong information to brain.

brain receives wrong information about where your body is supposed to be.

then send out signal to muscles that controls posture.

also, when upper cervicals(higher part of your neck bone) are misaligned, that will tilt your head then a whole vertebrae will compensate.

  • there are reasons why those pettibone and clear institute sometime failed

reason 1: it does not release dura tension which causes distortion in spines

reason 2: it does not adjust cranial and TMJ properly which is huge part of reason of structural problem in spines.

so even spines are forced into their ideal position, brain does not think that is the correct position.

  • People, Pettibone chiropractic is almost similar to clear institute

in fact, clear institute steals ideas from pettibone and CBP

and combined little bit of technology.

pettibone is way cheaper than clear institute.

although there is no way to tell that which is better

but there ideas of forcing spine into some ideal position sometimes did not work

  • people with educated through medical will tell you that

chiropractic can not help spine back to where supposed to be.

but in reality, if you do not have any abnormality in bone, then there is high chance that chiropractic mentioned below can help you restore your spine.

going through surgery should be only considered if it is emergency.

Please do research on chiropractors who do those techniques.

you can go to their office and ask x rays of pre and post or posture of pre and post

  • I have a question: Is there anything in the treatment that would be beneficial for me (50)' with a high 40's lumbar and thoracic curve which are fairly balanced? I am an active adult, very fit and WOULD LIKE to avoid my curve getting worse as I enter my 60's. I do have osteopenia beginning and a history of osteoarthritis throughout the family.

  • @benji7701

    receive adjustments from

    logan basic, fundamental, tofftness, ABC.

those only show consistent results in structural restoration

  • I don't want to get surgery my curve is over 50 degrees where is this???

  • 60 degrees, had surgery. bam.. best thing ever! This doesn't work this video.. the doctors were all good looking.. really.. you can't be fooled by it.. I don't feel the rods.. I have no limitations in movement.. Operation is best! :)

  • does it work on adult untreated scoliosis...all the video showing teenagers?

  • i dont know what kinds of scoliosis u had.

my friend had a functional scoliosis after traumatic event for 18 years but 2 visits to this Advanced biostructural correction doctor reduce scoliosis to almost none in 1 week. he didnt have any abnormality of vertebrae, when there is a torque in dura(structure that is protecting ur spinal cord) , by trauma(birth trauma, auto accident, periods of bad posture, to head, and cranial distortion, spine can go twisted to reduce stress on spinal cord.

  • @wonderfultiger I've developed a functional scoliosis of about 12 degrees over the last few years. I'm a active 28 year old male. I've been researching these guys the last few days and they look legit. I'll give em a call tomorrow and probobly go to Colorado, which is the closest to where i am, for treatment. You think they can help? Thanks

  • @83koolkeith

Do you have any abnormality(abnormal bone formation especially called hemivertebrae)?

if you don't, then there is moderate to high chance to

restore your spine to where it use to be.

by the way, how did you develop your scoliosis?

have you have any accident or trauma?

Clear institute uses special equipments and also so does Pettibone. both of them show Significant change in short period of time.

  • @wonderfultiger I believe i got it from a variety of reasons. Wearing a work belt on my shoulders during a construction job and working in a bent over position while holding a 15-20lbs skillsaw most of the day at work. I did that for a few years. I also sat in a car that was way too small for me for a while. Are you familiar with Shirley Sahrmann's work? She is in the Physical Therapy field. Her book "Diagnosis and Treatment of Movement Imapirment Syndromes" has helped me a lot.

  • @wonderfutiger It helped me clear up some of the other issues i had...very short hip flexors, inhibited glutes, that contributed to a lumbar lordosis. I still have the scoliosis though. That part seems like i just need something intensive like CLEAR. What is this about "Dura Tension"? This resonates with me as just feel a lot of tension and is only painful if i am not allowed to move around much...like sitting or standing in place. Thanks for all your comments. I will research this more.

  • Other type of structural care without use of expensive and intensive exercise is

called Logan basic, aquarian age healing, and fundamental technique, toffees techniques

if you receive 3 times per week for 6 months treatments(usually you will be evaluated each 6 weeks), spine goes back to middle.

  • @83koolkeith

other type of care is called Advanced Biostructural Correction.

If I were you, I would go to Advanced biostructural correction and receive dura release by really good ABC docs

for first 6 weeks then if you don't see any significant change(symptoms and curvature) go ahead find logan, fundamental, or tofftness techniques chiropractors.

clear institute and pettibone approach sometimes Force spines into ideal position which sometime does not work and sometimes it does.

  • @83koolkeith

with clear and pettibone approach, you are expected to do intensive and continuous exercise and clear asks you to purchase some equipments that might not help you get your curvature back. and programs itself is expensive.

those should be your last straw and not the first choice.

by the way, do you have migraine or headache, or TMJ problems?

  • where are they located?

  • so whats the price. is it 10000 for 2 months. because last time i went to manhattan there was also a doctor having all these beds and machines which you are under and theys till want 10000 dollars for first 2 months and price may increase as treatment goes on. isnt this for reach people only. because i can't imagine any people with regular income getting this treatment. but i really dont want to get surgery. i geard recovery time is fatal and there are never ending side effects. maybe its karma

  • is the treatment permanent ? is it too late for a 20 year old ?

  • I did not use CLEAR Institute's methods because there are no CLEAR Institute trained chiros in the area . However, I had a 60-degree left sided thoracic curve until going to a chiropractor who employed adjustment, traction, exercise and spinal decompression. One year later I measured out at 40 degrees. It has continued to improve slightly. I workout and lift weights four days a week. I'm in great shape now. I was a candidate for surgery and don't regret choosing NOT to get butchered by the rod

  • My daughter has been doing this program for 3 years. She has a severe case of scoliosis. It absolutely works. Arjots, there are plenty of before/after pics on the website, and I have seen dozens at the clinics we visited. At the end of the treatment week we see the after pictures; they are amazing. It is expensive, and it is worth it. The doctors work hard at this treatment. Sue it's not just for the young. I've seen quite a few older people at the clinics.

  • I am old...55...this is only for the young, yes?

  • @Sue7777000 Sue it is not just for the young. I have seen plenty of older people at the clinics.

  • are they just doin bussiness... i found soo many clear institute program abt scoliosis treatment and they are soo expensive... but there is no prof that this program can fix sceliosis... they always show how the tratment was done...but there is no "before-after" pic or video...no success stories ....

they absolutely just doin bussiness and take oppurtunity of others people health problem ......

  • hey im from ire Ireland is their any thing like this in Ireland and if not were are e based? and also my curve is 47 but I was told didn't need surgery. is their dangers after 40 degree to say e suggest going for surgery after 40

  • Hi.........I am 29 and I have a severe kyphoscoliosis.............and now a days I have trouble with breathing..........Is my problem can be solved.....Pls suggest.

  • Is there a Clear place in Baton Rouge?

  • the closest one to you is about 2 and a half hours away

  • GreekDestination-Hey! so sorry for taking so long to respond! Just go to the CLEAR Institute website and you can find phone numbers of different Dr.'s closest to you that you can call! It's worth taking the time!!!

  • birthdaykid33,

The best thing for you to do is to contact one of the certified CLEAR doctors. Any questions you may have regarding the treatment and the expectations can be answered. I can attest to the dramatic results that I have seen with patients who have undergone this treatment system. If all the doctors at CLEAR are as knowledgeable and passionate about treating this disease as Drs. Dovorany and Stitzel (in the videos), then I am confident you will find someone who can ease your mind.

  • My daughter has been doing the clear program for a year ..best move we ever made.

  • @homeschooler101 Can youi let me know a little more please as i get very worried that these kind of vidios are fake.

  • @homeschooler101 Is this treatment expensive?
