Ballroom tango and Argentine tango are different things. These guys are good at ballroom tango but they are using Argentine music. So it looks like he has had to adapt his footwork to Argentine but using ballroom frame. So this looks like a hybrid. Still a very good dance to watch.
Great tango dancing technically but the couple looked so wooden, there was no chemistry between them, there was lack of passion, it was almost boring in that sense.If you don't have passion in your latin dancing especially The tango, forget it.
@Deena777 It's international ballroom tango, which is not considered as a Latin dance but as ballroom (in the UK) or a "standard" dance. It's almost impossible to dance at this level without chemistry and passion. They're not flirting on stage if that's what you expected, they're demonstrating a dance. It's true their quickstep is more exciting... but this is hardly boring.
But it is 'clean' what they are dancing. Maybe there can be more passion, but they don't go through there cheography like crazies like some worldtop coupels do.... So I like this. :-)

Yes there is no passion at all.
Dancing is on itself quit good but there is the lack of pride ans magic.
We call this technical dancers.
She could be someone to dance the stars from heaven.
But this Fred Astaire needs a bloodtransfusion.

i love the Tango but when its open dancing... dancers usually don't have passion. closed dancing is better in alot of dances.
