This is a quick bike, not necessarily the fastest. Fast is distance in time (mph, kph). Quick is time for set distance, that is, time for 1/4 mile or lap time. A bike reaching 160 mph at the end of the 1/4 may be beaten by a bike reaching 150 mph because of better reaction time, superior launch, better 60 ft time and better mid strip acceleration. The launch and 60 ft times are the most important for low elapsed time. Top end speed is good too!

Yes but a rider of equal skill will win on a busa in a quarter mile sprint over any SS bike out there and some will argue that a zx14 is better but your splitting hairs. Full track is a diff story a 600 i would take over a busa. Some bikes just do jobs better than others.

I meant all the extra fairings on the sides man, the front aerodynamics I know about, but really all the crap on the sides doesnt help too much as it makes us the riders have to have our legs sticking farther out, and as you said you dont have a bike so i really wouldnt think you would know about these kind of things on bikes, the aerodynamics of the sides arent too great due to the fact that we have our legs pulled tight against it... Also the name thing apparently the info I had got was wrong.
