Well ok! Lisa died a while ago before the events of this game. But Alessa kept her alive because she remembers Lisa as a kind care giver. But then Harry uses the flourose on Alessa, which saps her powers. And because Alessa doesn't have her powers, she can't keep Lisa alive, therefore she dies.
lol Lisa was a loser in life and a drug addict. She couldn't handle looking after Alessa Gillespie and wanted to quit, which was selfish of her, but she continued her job as long as she could have the drugs like a typical junkie. If Harry were approached by a fat ugly man crying and wanting a hug most of you porobably would not care if he ran away lol. People can be very selective about what is "moral" and "understandable" ahaha!
I played this game both on Sony Playstation 1 and on PC and its one hell of a good game. It brings back such good memories when I was little and even now when I see this scene I feel like I'm gonna cry. Why dont they make games like this anymore?

I agree. Silent Hill is one hell of a good game, specially cuz I played it as a kid and it used to scare the shit outta me. Its got a great story and a CREEPY atmosphere. Also, Resident Evil 2 and 3 are great games too, I used to play them too as a kid. Yup, my childhood wasnt very bright heehehe. Anyways, thanks for response and I like the way you think. Peace mate!

He runs away from her, and she breaks down crying.

No, you don't fight her. She's gone, though she shows up in the final cutscene if you save Dr. Kaufman. If you return to the room you'll find a diary, which was most likely written by her...before she...ughm...died.
It's doubtful she would have been anything but an evil nurse. To be fair I think she would have eventually strangled Harry or bit his neck if he'd have accepted her attention. And apparently Harry felt the same way.

i love how the game graphics look bad NOW but the cut scenes are so detailed. if they had the technoligy to make the cut scenes look good how come they didnt do that in the gameplay? please dont troll me.
Because the PSX(playstation 1) hardware or any other console from the 90's couldn't handle that type of graphic. and before you say something similar to "but it could handle the cutscenes or then why it show the cutscenes?". It's because is actually not running the graphic of the cutscene, it's just running a video included in the cd.
you guys are like "harry was a bitch" in this scene, but think about it, if your friend started to spas out begging for you to stay, WHILE she bled out of her hair, nose, eyes, and mouth, would you stay and kill your friend (who had just turned into a zombie no less) or run away without trying to harm her?
People can be kinda stupid sometimes. Imagine yourself in Harry's situation, looking at a friend. She tells you that she's 'one of them', and comes at you with open arms as she begins the transformation process. After the hell you've been put through, wouldn't you also be terrified out of your wits? Wouldn't you shove the monster away from you, and run away when she suddenly charged you with blood pouring over her?
I'll bet every single person on this page would have done the exact same thing.
Thank you! They act like we are supposed stand there and hug Lisa with open arms. If I see anybody transforming with blood all over themself and anybody stumbling towards me like the walking dead. I would have got the fuck out of there too.
@Silme037 Yeah, he's visibly disturbed that he's abandoning her, but he does what's neccessary and if he did hug her, well the game would be much shorter wouldn't it? All in all, this series has some of the saddest moments I've seen in video games.
You act like she's saying "I'm transforming Harry.." She was scared, and completely human when she approached Harry for console. It was when he rejected her that she lost her humanity, and began to transform. So if you're asking me if I would help out a scared girl who's been nothing but kind to me yes, I would.
@Katnipkity But you have to remember the situation Harry was in, he was focusing on survival rather than being sympathetic. She would have transformed whether he comforted her or not. He's just human, and he was just as equally terrified. It's nice you'd stay with her but you can't think what Harry did was insensitive. What he did was human.
I can understand that he was scared, but she had helped him, and she just needed someone to hold her. The small part of him that was frightened ignored the fact that she was a scared and he chickened out.
@Silme037 This is a debate of morals vs logic, and in this case the moral obligation to help her was much larger than the tad part of logic that told alerted him of possible danger. That's why we call someone a chicken when they don't want to go on a scary ride because of the possible, and logical chance of an accident.
@mrleoui9s Well...everybody in the Town is dead but their "ghost presence" is still haunting the city...like the zombie nurses and doctors in the hospital. Lisa, (like she says in the beggining of this scene ) , didnt noticed that she was dead too just like the others...When Lisa realizes she is dead, she desperates and begs Harry for help, mutating in a "Haunted form" just like the hospital employees...thus...she bleeds because she is a disturbing "ghost presence".

you guys Lisa changes after harry pushes her though! she might have kept her humanity if it wasn't for him. i would have hugged her and cried with her and tolled her it would be okay. she was a great character. my fave!!! i cry when i watch it i cant stand that i have to do that to Lisa in the game! it makes me not want to Finnish it!! i love how the game graphics look bad NOW but the cut scenes are so detailed. if they had the technoligy to make the cut scenes look good how come they didnt do that in the gameplay? please dont troll me.

Because the PSX(playstation 1) hardware or any other console from the 90's couldn't handle that type of graphic. and before you say something similar to "but it could handle the cutscenes or then why it show the cutscenes?". It's because is actually not running the graphic of the cutscene, it's just running a video included in the cd.

People can be kinda stupid sometimes. Imagine yourself in Harry's situation, looking at a friend. She tells you that she's 'one of them', and comes at you with open arms as she begins the transformation process. After the hell you've been put through, wouldn't you also be terrified out of your wits? Wouldn't you shove the monster away from you, and run away when she suddenly charged you with blood pouring over her?
I'll bet every single person on this page would have done the exact same thing.

@Silme037 Yeah, he's visibly disturbed that he's abandoning her, but he does what's neccessary and if he did hug her, well the game would be much shorter wouldn't it? All in all, this series has some of the saddest moments I've seen in video games.

It was when he rejected her that she lost her humanity, and began to transform. So if you're asking me if I would help out a scared girl who's been nothing but kind to me yes, I would.

@Katnipkity But you have to remember the situation Harry was in, he was focusing on survival rather than being sympathetic. She would have transformed whether he comforted her or not. He's just human, and he was just as equally terrified. It's nice you'd stay with her but you can't think what Harry did was insensitive. What he did was human.

@Silme037 This is a debate of morals vs logic, and in this case the moral obligation to help her was much larger than the tad part of logic that told alerted him of possible danger. That's why we call someone a chicken when they don't want to go on a scary ride because of the possible, and logical chance of an accident.

@mrleoui9s Well...everybody in the Town is dead but their "ghost presence" is still haunting the city...like the zombie nurses and doctors in the hospital. Lisa, (like she says in the beggining of this scene ) , didnt noticed that she was dead too just like the others...When Lisa realizes she is dead, she desperates and begs Harry for help, mutating in a "Haunted form" just like the hospital employees...thus...she bleeds because she is a disturbing "ghost presence".
