The reality is that the media and politicians do not care about the facts, they exploit fear and disinformation for their own gain. Sex offenders have the second lowest recidivism rate of any other criminal, except murderers, yet politicians and the media continue to say sex offender recidivism is high.

Also, the fact is, the public doesn't care about rehabilitation, unless it's them in trouble. They just want to thrown you in the pit and forget about you, that is the fact!
