What a wonderful example of a Gavioli product, a real treat to hear playing so well and accurately. The decoration is very tasteful. Its a pity the proscenium does not fit the organ either in style or size. The 3 figures also detract greatly from its apperance too, there awful, sorry. Does the organs repertoire have any more authentic music we can hear?
It must, because Mr. Nunn and Nick Williams, who also owns a 57-key Gavioli, have apparently in correspondence, so I'm sure they must have shared what 57-key music they had. To my understanding, there are very few 57-key Gaviolis existing today playing their original scale, so I would imagine existing music is quite scarce. This is a really terrific arrangement!

MYGOD the action is fast on that organ! I think a lot of the other makers would do well to study what Gavioli accomplished. That piccolo obbligato just rips along flawlessly!
Wow that's fantastic organ. What is it pitched at?

Am i right in thinking that the white vent that opens and closes on the front is what controls the Piano/Forte (How loud or quiet the organ becomes)

You are correct.

How nice to see an original 57 key Gavioli organ playing very well! I love the lesser encountered scales and the 57 key is one of them.
