  • Shouldn't the "Big Papi" have mango salsa in it?

  • 'The Best!' My friend and I have a big inside joke about this commercial!

  • Sadly, the "lasershow" won't be seeing the postseason this year. In fact, why not make a sandwich after the roid sox? Be sure to put tuna on it Nashua, cause they both stink..

  • Why do they call him the Laser Show?

  • @ADAMskating Because he hits line drives like lazers

  • redsux hhaahahha has lackey doing HHHHHHHAHAHHh

  • Why? Because we have this commercial shoved down our throats when watching ESPN, that's why. And I just wanted to give you Boston fans my opinion on your team and the special media treatment you get.

  • @deshy88umkc they get special media treatment because they're the best team ever. i mean who doesn't love a laser show?

  • Anyone think the guy with the cap is hot?

  • anyone know where i can find that hat the guy is wearing with the green logos and the shamrock on the side

  • @tczmut yeah dude, i want that toooo but on ebay its similar but there's no white outlines on the 3 emblems

  • when i visit boston, i will be sure to hit this place up

  • @durantula32 It's actually in Nashua, New Hampshire

  • why does every sandwich gotta have cappocolla on it? because pedroia and the red sox stink and thats why tuna should be on it

  • theyre fuckin butchering the word capicola. just another example of how espn is full of retards.

  • But the Red Sox ARE the greatest team to walk the earth....so why wouldn't we walk around 'acting' and celebrating it???

  • @wissunbwissun 27!! Nuf Said!

  • God I hate the Red Sox and their stupid ass Red Sox nation. After winning two World Series last decade, the whole damn northeast acts like they are the greatest team to walk the Earth. And ESPN is infested with Red Sox fans. That's why you see so many commercials of theirs which include Red Sox players. Buck Showalter is so right, I would love to see Theo Epstein build a championship team with the spending amount of the Pirates. Lets bring back the curse of the Babe please.

  • @deshy88umkc jealous much? you sound like a whiny bitch. why the hell would someone like you with so much disdain for the Sox or anything related to it, watch this video? LOL.... what a joke.

  • once again im not red sox fan nor yanks but why is this guy talking shit on a red sox thing you sir are a fucking idoit they won em stop bitching id rather hear espn then your bitch ass on youtube

  • @13Linger Hahaha well you heard me asshole!

  • This commercial probably has the most obscure references of any I've ever seen on a major broadcasting network. Seriously, even after seeing it like 10 times I had no idea what they were talking about. I thought "capicola" was some kind of soda, but then they're talking about putting it on a sandwich. And the guy with the mustache seems super pissed for no real reason when they mention the capicola.

Glad the comments here shed some light for me in any case.

  • I don't get it

  • GABBAGOOL

  • its like a big poppy without the cheese... epic

  • First time I saw this commercial I had no fucking clue what was going on. But now it all makes sense.

  • how bout the Irving Fryar.....it's just a ham sandwich....but his wife slices it for you...

  • @mckensigk Not sure if you're being sarcastic or not. Espo has repeatedly shunned Boston as a city since he left, his most recent quote being that he "doesn't give a damn" about the city. I have no idea why he hates B's fans though, who once wore bumper stickers reading "Jesus Saves, Espo Scores." Ultimately though he was just a great poacher. Even he admitted that he sat in the slot and popped in rebounds for most of his goals though, so I don't know why even that opinion would bother him.

  • What did Esposito ever do to Boston fans to cause them to believe he wasn't "the best?"

  • @jman6788 Bobby Orr is the best Bruin ever and is the reason why Esposito was as good as he was. 90% of his goals Bobby assisted. I'd put Neely and Bourque ahead of Espo.

  • Too bad peskypole8 doesn't know Esposito was a HOCKEY player...

  • They have a Dock Ellis because it has shrooms in it.

  • Too bad tjk773 doesn't know his baseball history.

  • Too bad tjk773 doesn't know his baseball history.

  • I rarely comment on youtube videos but his face at the end makes me laugh every time I watch. Go Phills though.

  • If you think it makes no sense, then you just don't know anything about Massachusetts. Don't say it doesn't make sense, YOU just don't get it.

  • Yay Nashua!

  • this commercial makes no sense, why does the guy in the hat complain about the capicola and then defends it?!

  • @masnyc1983 read the other comments and try to understand it then

  • Why did Dock Ellis have a sandwich? he never played for the socks.

  • Fail for ESPN - its not "Big Poppy" its "Big Papi". Was your production assistant from Connecticut or something?

  • @gdawg24 Seeing as how it is a sandwich "named" after Big Papi, inserting poppy in for papi seems pretty perfect, no? Ever hear of a poppy seed roll? Poppy seed bagel?

  • @gdawg24 probably like poppy seed muffin or something idk

  • After reading the comments, this commercial makes more sense. Thanks to everyone that explained what those guys were talking about.

  • He needs capicola in order to get out of the slump

  • Great nod to Doc Ellis on the bottom left of the chalkboard with the "Marinated Portabella".

Youtube Doc Ellis and check out the cartoon video if you dont know who he is.

  • GABBA GOOL you motherfucks.

  • Bushman is the way to go, I love this place!

  • idk...im a sox fan...but i dont get why that guy gets so irritated when that guy suggests capicola...kinda seems over-acted

  • @Wiifan15 I dont get it either. It seems like everyone in the shop agrees, so why is he so angry?

  • Awesome that ESPN found a cool spot like that in Nashua. Great little city.

  • @h4x0r3d911

    Trashua

  • I'm a Yankees fan but i'll still admit this is an awesome commercial. It's the same kinda shit that goes on in any deli/sandwhich shop in NY.

  • ok im going to submit a suggestion for the pedroia sandwich: mozzarella, olive oil, and tuna... because he stinks!!

  • @chiodos57 your an idiot

  • This commercial is epic.

  • Not a Red Sox fan....but like the commercial.... its CAPICOLA - its an Italian pork cold cut - and its on the ESPOSITO named after the former Bruin Phil Esposito

  • @epicbeats007 Thankyou so much for explaining this commercial! much appreciated

  • Comment removed

  • @epicbeats007 I had the Esposito sandwich. It was seriously one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten.

  • Who is "Mas Vasido?"

  • I am not from Boston , can someone explain this commercial to me

  • WHAT THE FUCK IS CAPPA COLA

  • @mudkeepz I know! Every time I see this commercial it pisses me off. I have no idea what "cappa cola" is. Can't find anything on google. What the fuck are they saying!?

  • @darkenrahl123 Its a type of italin meat.

  • @darkenrahl123 you two can't be serious. it's "capicola," which is a type of italian meat.

  • @currie3 Oh, that makes sense. Never heard of it tough, I'm not big into sandwiches. Ham or turkey most of the time. Thanks for clearing that up though.

  • this commercial makes perfect sense NOT

  • @michaelj150 gotta know boston sports

  • I despise you

  • i live in nashua it took me 4 times to realize this was the nashua garden lol

  • Phil Esposito > Dustin Pedroia (not sure who that is)

I don't care for baseball. But I love hockey, best sport around. A lot of entertainment while baseball is just plain boring.

As a Rangers fan, I love and hate Esposito. He was a great player but he was a part of one of the worst trades in Rangers history. (I never got to watch him play since I'm still young but I've seen videos and I've met him a couple of times).

Oh and I hope the Bruins can finish off the Flyers. I hate them!

  • Awesome... you have to be from theayhh.

  • @JasonGack07 dude your dumb. Thats the garden on mains treet in nashua.

  • Damn its just a funny commercial Why read so much into it???

  • @JasonGack07 its in nashua nh not boston

  • thats my town ps subscribe

  • Can someone explain why he gets upset about the capicola than agrees..... i really dont get this one

  • love the Buckner, two slices of bread with nothing in the middle and costs $19.83

  • @tjk773 $19.86 That was the year of the world series against the Mets

  • @tjk773 i mean $19.86

  • @tjk773 You got everything but the price right, it was $19.86

  • @tjk773 1986 was the year Buckner booted that ball not 83

  • @tjk773 I think is genius how the come up with the Idea...

  • @tjk773 I think It's genius how they come up with the idea... and now I would like to try the The Esposito..

  • @tjk773 it would be 19.86....get your dates straight

  • @tjk773 I think it's $19.86

  • 3 people hate capicolla

  • i watched the flyers win game 7 the other night too ^.^ pick your poison. I'm a Philadelphia fan!

  • Is that Joe Esposito - the guy who sang "you're the best" in Karate Kid?

  • @TigerLaw89 Phil Esposito...played for the Bruins.

  • @RdSoxFan618

    Yeah, I was wrong.

  • The "Pedroia" should have Chourico in it since he's Portuguese.

  • LOVE IT

  • i don't get this commercial, and neither do any of my friends...maybe it's because you need to be a big baseball fan? and baseball is the only sport my and my friends don't follow closely..but that's just cause baseball is boring as shit.

  • @sunswin532 It's more just about the fanatical fans in New England. They mention the "Esposito", they're referring to Phil Esposito, HOF Bruins Forward. Also, just trype in Dustin Pedroia Laser Show, anyone who hasnt seen that should.

  • this bar is right across the street from my apartment in Nashua NH i first saw this on espn i was like what the fuck?hahaha

ps if you go there and get a sandwich get the boggs

  • A cap of cola? like when you pour the drink into the cap, and drink it? like when i was 7 or something?

WTF is a cap of cola?

  • @d245470k

Capicola is an Italian deli meat. It is pork.

  • @d245470k Capicolla is a pork meat that's very very good

  • For those that are interested you can google image search "Nashua Garden menu" and you can see the whole chalkboard menu

  • @giantsrule323 He said "The Esposito" I don't know if thats just a general thing being a common Italian last name or if someone was called The esposito.

  • @jukappa

I'm probably wrong, but Phil Esposito was a legendary hockey player that played for Bruins for most of his career. He is considered to be one of the best hockey players in NHL history

  • @jukappa It's a reference to Boston Bruins great Phil Eposito

  • @longbowgold67 Ahhh thank you, I did do a google search on esposito boston, and I'm not sure how I missed him.

  • Oh the garden...go with the Boggs with a Tuck every day...so stoked our town is getting attention.

  • Nashua Garden!!! Got to love it!!

  • "The Petrocelli", on the board, has Capacollo. I didn't see the Espo.

  • @dunskie The "Espo" is the 3rd or 4th from the top on the sandwich board...
