Hi, great video, I have this camera. But don't know how to convert AVCHD movie to mpeg.

Hi Xainjmu, I have a Mac with iMovie '09 which imports AVCHD and then I can convert it to .mov, mpeg-4, etc. It depends on the video editing software you use if it can convert the AVCHD file to mpeg. Which software do you use?

I don;t have any software for conversion. I tried to look for some free on google, but could not find any? do you know any link where i can find a free software.

@zainjmu I just got this camera too and it's great. You can record in to either AVCHD or JMPEG. In my experience, both will upload directly to YT without any conversion. Good luck with your camera. The video quality is awesome.

@zainjmu AVCHD is already mpeg (mp4 or h.264)

I can confirm that the orginal file is WAY sharper then the converted version on youtube.

I would agree, the original (non compressed video) is nicer than what is represented here on youtube.
