  • Simo Häyhä( Russians called him at WW2 White death no doubt

  • @jorgos134 Simo Häyhä - 505 confirmed sniper kills. It was like a slaughterhouse local guy in white camo on the white snow ... it`s not a perfectly trained killer, IT IS GOOD RIFLEMAN.

Please answer - how many snipers he deactivated?

    Based on his own words:

My best tactic - white snow and worm underwear... and a great piece of luck of course...

Finally he got head-shot from normal infantryman...

  • @Freeegad But he did not died

  • @Freeegad

He was not only a good sniper, but also a good sub-machine gunner. He killed 200-300+ enemies with a machine gun that HE SALVAGED FROM THE ENEMIES.

  • Russian sharpshooter Vasily Zaytsev FOREVER !

  • @Freeegad vasilli zeitzev?

  • @S2kloveyou No, Dear , VASILY ZAYTSEV (Василий Зайцев) ! Check orfography at wiki. You can see his photo at 5:17, face of real hero and patriot of my motherland.

  • The ones who took advantages of the use of snipers were Germans, Soviets, Finns, Canadians and Japaneses; Americans, despite having on service many snipers on the USMCS, had to wait until the war would be finished, to developed a handbook for snipers on following conflicts.

  • At 1:00 and 1:01 the german snipers shown are from the tail end of WWI not WWII. You can tell by the Stahlhelm they are wearing being of a model used in WWI and discontinued well before the NAZIs coming to power. The give away is the "Frankenstein" lugs that were used for mounting an additional steel plate to the front of the helmet for snipers and assault troops in the trenches. After WWI they discontinued the practice of the steel plate and following Stahlhelm models didn't have the lugs.

  • Music is the theme music from the German newsreels called Deutsche Wochenschau.

  • Headshot :d

  • Wheres this music from? Sure I've heard it before.

  • @Kath666

It's from the game Sniper Elite.

  • @Gott0300

Ahhh! So thats where I've heard it before, thanks!

  • @Kath666 Part of the Les Prelude by Franz Liszt (Hungarian pianist and composer of 19C). It is a short symphonic poem, played by most professional orchestras.

  • @tarantellaonline

    Awesome! Thank you!

  • Damn. He was just shaving.

  • Yep, hands down, Simo Häyhä was the very best! Greetings from Finland.

  • Oh wait, Simo Hayha probably won't be in a movie, you know why? He didn't do anything for the Americans or for anyone who ever helped the Americans, therefore he's EVIL right?

  • @jimmyxx3 No one's stopping a European film director from making a film about Simo Häyhä. No one's stopping a Kiwi director from making a film about him. Or an Australian director, or a Canadian director, or a British director. Or an Asian or Russian director.

Tell me, are there a lot of Kiwi film directors waiting to make a film about Carlos Hathcock? What about Chuck Mawhinney? Adelbert Waldron?

But you continue with your anti-American agenda. On Youtube.com.

    How's your Big Mac?

  • Simo Hayha is the biggest badass in history, he puts Chuck Norris to shame! He deserves his own movie!

  • music ruined it

  • It was a Finn that had the most kills of anybody in the war. I challenged a Russian guy who said that Vassily Zeitzov had the most kills in the war that a Finnish soldier had the most. He said that it didn't count because they were all in the "Winter War" of 39-40 and that was NOT part of World War 2. I say it was.. what do you guys say?

  • @dancinkindofguy I think he's been brainwashed or just a ultranationalist. The Winter War was a massive embarassment militarily and politically to the USSR all over the world and it's already well-known that the Russians to this day continue to exaggerate casualties and victories grossly. They'd do anything to downplay the significance of that conflict. At least they're more honest than the Japanese...

  • @dancinkindofguy

Well if it's a WORLD war and it's somewhere between 39-45 and it happened from 39-40 then no shit it was a part of the war XD

It's good to be patriot and/or proud of your country, but it's stupid to claim your country is the best at everything isn't it? (not to you, the guy you talked to)

  • @jimmyxx3 When you get down to it, I think that when Japan attacked China in the 30's ought to be the beginning of WWll. Oddly, they were still at it in September, 1945.

  • And the penalty for snipers when captured - Execution

  • It's turkey time gobble gobble

  • Very good film.

  • I didnt know that they had thermal scopes in WWII

  • @xSnIpEzxx14

It's an infra red scope. The first ones have been developed by German engineers in WWII. It was called ZF 1229 "Vampir". In the movie there is obviously an American model.

  • @Gott0300 Your right but you'll prob find that was a clip from the korean war.

  • @PuknPavy

    Not necessarily.

The first time that US troops used the M1 sniper scope has been during the invasion of Okinawa, so it may be a piece of footage from WWII..

  • @Gott0300 that looked more like the starlight scope that they put on a m14 during vietnam... :l

  • @Vanishing762x54

It looks similar, but most scopes do.

The starlight scope didn't have the huge infra red illuminator on top..

  • @Gott0300 so cool that the germans made the first of every thing .

  • @issenterprise1

Basically I agree with you; it shows that the "evil huns" had (and still have) a lot of technical and scientifical knowledge.

But then: isn't it sad that so much of this knowledge had been misused to invent things that were made to kill other people?!?

  • @Gott0300 yes they were evil some times like i mean the ss but they were very smart

  • @issenterprise1

    Agreed. :)

  • @issenterprise1 Yes.

  • @issenterprise1 the only weird thing is the russians still made better glass then them (scopes))

  • @xSnIpEzxx14

My guess is that its not a thermal scope but rather a night-vision scope

  • @xSnIpEzxx14 It's actually what they called the "snooper scope" which gott0300 pointed out, however this one was mounted on an M1 carbine variant designated the M3 used for night time engagements used against the Japanese and also in the Korean wars....not a sniper rifle I might add.

  • 3:15 boner ?

  • german are the most pro snipers in ww2 then russian!!

  • @huzaifah971 wrong. russian snipers were damn good

  • @yeason2010 every country has their pro sniper!!!but i like the german sniper the most :).....(dont reply about nazis)

  • @huzaifah971 What about Finns? one sniper 700+ kills

  • @Feedi112 like i said, everyone has their own favourite country sniper!!!

  • @huzaifah971 But i dont think that any other sniper has achieved that many kills while using ironsights

  • @Feedi112 you like finland sniper,i like german sniper and everybody has their own favourite sniper!!!!

  • @ThePalmetadon

You're trying to be funny, huh?!

    You failed..

  • i thought the gwreher was a rifle(not bolt action)

  • i don't know why the U.S stopped using the 30-06 ?? its way better then the 7.62x51 !!

  • Comment removed

  • 5:17 El gran Василий Гриeгорьевич Зайцев(Vassili zaitsev)

  • sniper elit?

  • @Headtizado

    Sure!

  • @Gott0300

I play Sniper Elite sometimes, but this film is awesome with the music. Thank u...:-)

  • 0:59 why is that german wearing a WW1 helmet?

  • @bulletinyurass

Maybe it's an old piece of film from WW1, or it's from a propaganda film, shot at a time when not all of the Wehrmacht has been outfitted with the new helmets; i'm not 100% sure.

I've seen some pre-WW2 pictures of Wehrmacht soldiers with the old WW1-helmets during exercises and even some pics of early WW2-days with senior officers who served in WW1 still wearing their old helmets.

  • @bulletinyurass Machine gunners were issued with the old style helmets, because they supposedly gave better protection. That still does not explain that guy because he has a rifle.

  • @bulletinyurass Its surplus for training purposes.

  • @bulletinyurass yes :)

  • @bulletinyurass -- just my two cents... I felt the WWI helmet show was to eqate the time period with the evolution of the mauser, as the first was 1898 model and the latter was 1943 to compete w/ the Russians at Stalingrad.

again... just my take... who can say is Gott0300 and the edits of footage used.

  • @bulletinyurass Because the German used after 1 wk, the helmets do have and have just got a M16 helmet

  • @bulletinyurass it was really common in ww2 to see them actualty. i was in normandy and saw many relic ss ones of that style. since germany could never male enough helmets old ones where used with second line and reserve units. if they work might as well use them

  • @bulletinyurass If you read some history you can learn that at WW2 German army used some of WW1 stuff.

  • Please someoe tell me where its the music from...? I'm loving

  • @Alcester

It's music from the game "Sniper Elite". It has been released in 2005 for various platforms. If you're interested in snipers and don't know the game yet, go and get it!!

  • a good sniper never show the rifle throw a window....a lot of propanga films...

  • @Masnovita11

Yes, some of the footage has obviously been made for propaganda and/or training movies. :)

  • You did forget the m1-C or M1-D they were common enough later in the war.

  • Best sniper in ww2 - Simo Haya 702 kills in less than 6 months. Finn, not german or russian =P

beside that, the record holer of number of peopl killed by one human itself.

  • @JSLegoMaster

Yes, I said it before and I say it again: I forgot to tip my hat to this great Finnish sniper in the video and I apologise..

But no one is perfect and I never tried to make THE definitive sniper movie. I just took some material that I had and wanted to show my admiration to the sniper in general and how they did it back then..

  • @JSLegoMaster

    The white death.+1

  • @JSLegoMaster ehm it's actually Simo Häyhä and he killed around 250-350 russians (702 where did you get that number how could he have counted all the kills so accurately anyway :P). i dont want to be disrespectful or anything he still is a hero :P he surely would've killed way more if he hadn't gotten injured so badly

  • 502 confirmed kills with m27 rifle and another 200 with kp31.

You will find many sources confirming that, lets start with wiki =)

  • hardscoper

  • Restlichtverstärker !!!

  • This guy from 5:20 is a trolololo dude :) xD Srsly check it ! :*

  • @10bennet10

  • Comment removed

  • @Gott0300

Yeah the message from 10bennet10 was dumb, but why you reply in German when someone (even a German) send a message in English, especially in an English video with English title and description? Anyway good vid, Vasily Zaytsev, Roza Shanina and all Soviet snipers were great heroes! Like the M3 at 2:40 =).

  • @XtremeItachou

Because I looked at his channel and realised that he is German, so I thought there's no need to reply in English, simple as that..

Besides, it's obviously easier for me to express myself in my native tongue than in a foreign language, don't you think?! ;)

  • @Gott0300

Haha yes I agree, I'm French so I understand ;). Have a nice day dear friend and keep up the good WWII vids!

  • @XtremeItachou

Thank you, my friend. Have a nice one, too..

  • @10bennet10 Seriously dude? If you read the title it actually says "Snipers in WWII". The barret has only been in use since 1989. Besides it's an anti-material rifle anyway so it's not necessarily a sniper rifle in the first place. God I hope your a troll and if not I hope you don't breed.

  • @MrNapoleanMortimer

    Dude, this was a joke..

but thank you for the info .. -_-"

  • @10bennet10 lulz, hey man. to be fair it's hard to pick out a sarcastic voice when we can only communicate in text! and with all the Cod kids littering comment boards with stuff like that you cant really blame a guy for getting a little angry

  • @MrNapoleanMortimer they still use .50 BMG as a rifle against humans

  • Comment removed

  • @10bennet10 Fuck off playstation idiot

  • @10bennet10 xD

  • @10bennet10 why has this comment got so many negative votes?

  • @zemiaz333

Are you trying to beat him, mate?!? ;)

  • @Gott0300 no just wondering

  • @zemiaz333

Well, obviously because his comment is so stupid.

This is a video about snipers in World War II, as you can see just by reading the title. And along comes this kid, who apparently likes to play egoshooters, and goes "You forgot the Barrett M82, Dude!" That's quite inadequate and that's why he has gotten so many negative votes.

But, since he has deleted his comment, I think we should all learn to forgive and forget, shall we?!? :)

  • and another reason reason why he didnt have scope = it was reflecting sun

  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but those are Mosin Nagants at 3:37

  • @BoggleDongMongerFlog It's hard to tell. Could you see if they had a safety on them?

  • @bisquik3006 Well, the safety mechanism is built into the bolt, if the gun had a bolt then it had a safety.

  • Unfortunately for the russians, it was a weapon they manufactured, that was the tool of their destruction, as it was what Belaya Smiert used. No scopes. All skill. 500+ kills. No contest.

  • SNIPER ELITE .. nice choice

  • Vasily, and Simo! :D lol

  • you forgot lee enfield

  • @turkeyforever100

    Nope.

    Look at 6:01..

  • AMAZING!!!

  • lol sniper elite~

  • "sniper elite" - the game ( music)..love it

  • @Jelinek44

    Gotta love it! ;D

  • @Jelinek44

    sniper elite is great

  • @Jelinek44 noticed that too =)

  • I'm Getting myself a mosin nagant 91/30 just so I can shoot a few Hitler targets

  • WW2?? THAN WHY DOES THE GERMAN ON THE CIDEOPHOTO WEARS A WW1 STAHLHELM???

  • nice we have some WW I Helmet in here if u arware!

    At 1:01 min

  • Comment removed

  • mute the audio and put on two steps from hell

  • Does anyone know what the name of the music played in the beginning is? Or indeed where I can get it from. Many thanks.

  • where is the PTRS-41?

  • @detijdVLOGD Call of Duty much? It wasnt a sniper rifle!!

  • @BigMek456 yup ;)

    well, it's a (anti-tank) rifle with a scope, so I call that a sniper rifle :P

just like the barrett 50 cal

  • @detijdVLOGD I call them Anti-Material-Rifles. Sniperrifle would be... just not fitting, ya know?

  • @BigMek456 ye, good point

  • @detijdVLOGD but that's different at that time i think it was strictly used for antitank the m82 is mostly used for tanks and longer range as well as the AWSM (artic warfare super magnum) it's not an anti tank gun because i don't think the .338 lupua would not be able to tank down a tank but it's used mostly for longer range in the ranges the 50 BMG can reach and is mostly used for 2000+ plus yards

  • The Sniper Elites

  • nice video

  • ptrs the 50 cal of ww2

  • that guy had a 7killstreak (2:57)

  • 2:44 what the heck is that thing?

  • @bobscanfly

    An infra red scope system..

  • @Gott0300 The germans had those during WW2. Damn.................... As smart as our guys were, the germans were way of ahead of their time in WW2.

  • @Gott0300 wats the song at the beginning that old german news reel thing

  • @bannyloren100

I've been told that it's from "LesPreludes" by Franz Liszt.

  • @Gott0300 ty how do i get the one that u have?

  • @Gott0300 how do i download the one you have?

  • @bannyloren100

Sorry, but I've got this piece of music for such a long time now, I can't remember for the life in me, where I got it from. If you send me your E-mail address I can mail it to you..

    A good source for a lot of WW2 era-songs is ingeb.org

  • @Gott0300 lrichardson100@msn.com

  • @bannyloren100

    Okay, message sent.. :)

  • Zaitsev was not the best russian sniper for your information, it was Surkov with 702 kills....

  • that is the best footage on all sides of ww11 ssnipers. great, just great.

  • @hop21537

    Thanks. :)

  • @hop21537 World War 11. What happened to 3-10?

  • @7commenter7 not interested at all. ww11 thats it, the first, the only frauline nie 8/09/42.

  • @hop21537 What the fuck are you talking about?!?!?!? Its WWII. Not WW11. That didn't happen yet.

  • @7commenter7 after you sucked the teachers dick for being a good speller di he give u a big star on your forehead or did u go suck your dadys cock....frauline nie...ww11 ww1 ww11 ww11 ww11 ww11 ww11 ww11 ww11 ww11 ww11, or did u cry as his cock slid up your ass. itiot wannabee historian lilboy fuck.

  • @hop21537 First, you need to relax. Second, I don't suck penis, like you. Third, instead of getting all mad, you should say "lol, ok" and just start writing WWII instead of WW11 because then you just sound ignorant.

  • @7commenter7 Watch me!

  • Tidbits ..The word sniper had started in England for a peson who shot at "Snipes" a breed of bird You were called a sniper Because of the small shape and speed of the bird ..Sniper camps were started in WW1 and some countries only used 1 person teams , in this video there was many postions to snipe however the only real one was the American that had his leggs spread out and side ways ..the worst one was the guy sitting up leggs crossed elbows on top of his leggs However his leggs werent GRD

  • @freakyflow - the seated cross legged position is ok if you pull yourself in tight and keep your elbows off your knees. Pretty steady if you have to sit unsupported. Though you can't traverse a great deal. Sorry - just my thoughts on that position.

  • @JediAub all depends in the area of combat your in I myself would rather be unseen or be as low to the ground as possable due to incoming fire or motar fire/shells a fixed enemy sniper etc Mainly why snipers like to find higher ground and lay low and aim lower

  • Sniper Elite its a Nice Game

  • What, no White Death? Zaitsev was a jobber next to Simo Hayha!

Oh, and here's a pretty picture for you. Nationalist Chinese snipers often used the Boys Anti-Tank rifle. The British supplied these to knock out Jap tanks, but there just weren't that many of those around, so the Chinese started using the Boys as a sniper weapon!

  • Springfield is the best sniper.

  • @DJdacri

    thats a complete copy of a kar98.

and wrong, the lee enfield was

  • @DJdacri lee enfield was better

  • @theathiestalaby - the Lee Enfield was nothing on the Mauser mate - wait until you fire both of them. I'll bet you will change your mind.

  • @JediAub Dude, then why did it have the best combat efficiency then as in, less kickback, lighter, and a more powerful bullet? The mauser was got but not compared to the lee enfield SMLE mk II

  • @theathiestalaby - Mate, I guess it's 'much of a muchness' - the debate on both sides has its real favourites depending on the author. If you dig the Lee Enfield thats cool, I just happened to like the Mauser. It seems they both went through different stages of development during both wars - either way, they were both great weapons for sniping and between the both of them, probably killed the entire population of a small African country :)

  • @JediAub Hahahahaha true, and your right they are both great :) all based on preferences really.

  • @JediAub the bolts smoother more accurate and has a 10 round capacity

  • WHAT SONG IS THAT??? It's so familiar. I think I played it in my local youth orchestra.

  • @KippingItReal

    You did?!?

It's the music from the game "Sniper Elite".. ;)
