uhh tried to do whatever you just did for the middle district acre informer. i don't get how you did it. i ran up to the guy and stealth killed him, but i didn't get to run off before everyone started screaming and it told me i failed the mission.
@QueenSharpie Notice at 0:35 there's another (non-target) guard to Altaïr's left walking in the opposite direction. I waited for him to pass so that he wouldn't witness the stealth assassination. Usually it's okay to do stealth kills in view of unaware/suspicious guards but not right in front of their face!
If you run a beeline to the first target then he won't be alone. Try adjusting your timing.

I found another way to easily defeat all informer assassinations. Just take to the roofs and throw knives down at the targets and hop back to the informer.

You're having trouble with the 5 targets in 5 minutes on Jubair? I conducted a survey of which one was hardest and that one finished third out of three choices.
The tricky thing about the one in Damascus is that one target is on a roof (just North of Informer). I like to take care of him first, before there are too many dead bodies and Informed guards prowling around.
Other than that, just apply the style from this vid. Use low profile stealth kills, keep moving, and blend when necessary.
Ubisoft has a pretty good video walkthrough of that mission on their help site. I will send you the URL (because YouTube doesn't really allow URL's in comments).
The trick with Informed patrols is either give them a wide berth (like I did in this video) or Blend past them. You can't rely on your witness indicator. That thing always chirps on MB6. Visually identify Informed patrols and only Blend when necessary.
Try going to Damascus and following the instructions in "Stuck on Memory Block 4: Damascus". Post a comment on that vid and explain where you're having trouble.
That usually doesn't work on this Interrogation because there's an Informed guard patrol behind you. Maybe if you timed it so they were gone on patrol...
how'd u kill them with 20 guards staring at u? when i find 1 i eagle vision no guards then when i assassination leik a squad of 7 guards appear outa nowhere and i kill them all and get pissed so hard i run around killing 100 guards luring them to the spot so the floor becomes covered in a pile of bodies

The AI isn't very good in AC1 for one thing. and also, he wasn't actually supposed to kill the templar, just pickpocket the seracen.

No it takes 1 knife and the guards only get set off if they see you on the roof.
