@treeclimberdave . Fortunately, no I have never dropped a tree on my cab, but I have seen it happen to others. Some people just don't understand that you can't go after trees like your killing snakes, and they always end up in a bad situation.
The video is great but the operator should single out the trees with the corner of his blade so he can control where they fall. Skinny trees like that can easily break and wind up in you lap. Stay safe! Good operators are few and far between we don't need to lose any of us.
@TopOp1US yeah have you ever dropped a tree on your cab? i watched my boss drop a 36" douglas fir back on my d7 and it didnt even scratch it. scared the shit out of him and he never got on it again. youre right though, its so much easier to use the corner of the blade, especially with a 6 way like that!
I've been grubbing and clearing all night (you need the frost to work on top of). I played this tune in the 6R back to back to fight sleep. Great posting!
Nice video!!!!! i know what its like to clear bush in deep snow its not fun you really have to know what your doing i have a D7H and D7G and a D6D, i have done alot of bush clearing keep up the good vidoes man!!!! awsome
Good video, too bad once you put it up people comment like they know something. I wonder how exactly you knock down brush with a 6 way in a couple of feet of snow without raising the blade?
I've worked in the area doing the same thing and it looked like you guys were doing just fine
only one thing that I don't like is the guy on the widepad 7 spinning his tracks pushing on those tree's with his blade way up in the air. Must be a green operator.
