This song is playing in my head during a scene from Dragon Age: Origins, when Riordan (a senior Grey Warden) leaps from a tower onto the back of the Archdemon (basically a huge, black dragon), stabbing at it with his swords.

Funny thing is I used to play this music in Oblivion when destroying Oblivion Gates, Little did I know that years later I would be using it to slay dragons to in the sequel XD

Reading the Epic Poem Beowulf in English Class and I must say, the poem is epic, and doing the homework/classwork while listening to this is also epic.

I loved this scene in the movie! What attracted me to Beowulf was the fact that I've always loved dragons. Beowulf was one movie that I loved to death. It's so well done, and the research that went into it was very well taken care of. The actors were perfect choices, as well.

When you compare this to what they used in the movie there's a bit of difference and it's alot shorter, but whatever. It's still as epic as it gets.

I think because the screen time this plays for in the film is over ten minutes, the track would have just been long, laborious and eventually, people would be aching for it to end. Without something visually to help attract their attention, they had to keep you entranced with just the music. That's why it's shorter.

Yeah I guess that makes sense. I kind of counted that it was only about 10 minutes and not over but yeah it would get rather long after awhle. But if you listen that part in the beginning of the chase comes later on this track and the scene in the water in the beginning. Plus there wasn't that part where their crashing into the cliffs which I thought was a really awesome part. It's still great, but I do kind of miss that part on this track.

I too have watched the film and tried to synch up this music with it, but I struggled...

Do note that I posted up the whole CD, so if the track is a little different in the film, then you probably can't get it to it's full extent on CD.
