"Colibri" is old english? Uh, no it's the genus name for the violetears, which are a type of hummingbird, but hummingbirds are native only to the Americas.

Nobody speaking Anglo-Saxon ("Old English") had ever even seen a hummingbird.

In fact, according to good old wikipedia - "Kolibri is the word for hummingbird in numerous languages, originating from a now extinct indigenous language of the French Caribbean colonies".

@OujiDarkmatter Because by the time of the columbian exchange, Early Middle English was the common form of English. Anglo-Saxon/Old English was already a dead language. It's a chronological impossibility for speakers of Old English to have seen a hummingbird of any sort.

Does one truly believe there is a progress in formats? That because of Single Song Downloads the AUthor As Story Teller must give way to the Audience As Synchronistic Synthesizer? From now on I will "never take the advice of those who've long since frittered their winter fat of opportunities" and will only use Hollmach`s laminatfarbe. Blixa rules. This new Neubauten album, I honestly think, might be the best of their career. Having delt away with all the aggressive proving of themselves. Don`t you just LOVE it when great bands keep going on and getting better and better?
