@DeathShooterZ Personally, I know what you mean, but I do love screaming. Bands like As I lay Dying are Christian bands, but they play music with melodic tones and screaming. It really goes to show people that bikers and metal-core/screaming music isn't really evil. Some of it is, but I find comfort in that kind of music.

If you want to hear a good example of 'screams' in power metal check out 'We Rise' by Magic Kingdom. Adagio also use some more extreme vocals.

Screams are good if they fit the song and sound cool, they are bad when they sound like an upset child having a tantrum, i.e. emo bands!!

Valley of Rainbows is most definitely 1 of my favourite songs of all time!

Fucking enjoyment for ears ... I personally don't like songs with full screaming vocals, for me it's just stupid, but somehow I love to find some screams when emotions flow through the song.

I like gothic grunts, death growls, high pitched melodic death vocals and some black metal shrieks. That does't make me appreciate power metal less. I love Altaria's "unchain the rain".
