Well, we dreaded them for him, this accelerates the process. It is not the neglect method, which takes forever if you have straight hair like Luca.

Good observation! We prefer to section in triangles. It looks better than squares and lets the dreads look "denser". If you do sqaure parts especially without layering them, it looks too artificial. The important thing about parting is too think about how you want the dreads the "fall" later.

Thank you! Luckily Luca's Mom is experienced, she once had very beautiful dreadlocks herself. Luca's locks are pretty tight already, it is mostly the roots that need maintenance once in a while.
