Sad but fare more cruel to allow more pain for the animal. Our upset was perhaps soon over but the animal could have suffered for days or weeks so it was very humane thing to do. Our upset can be the animals saviour. Life sometimes is hard but we can make it good by our actions witch may seem fare or un fare but our needed at times

thats a nice buck too bad but it happens, I understand that you couldn't eat it. I am a avid hunter but would have a hard time eatting something that was hit by a car. I infact have cut up and given away 2 deer that i saw hit.

Here's the brief story about 2 deers that were hit by car and laid on our ground resting from pain broken leg so I called police to come over and shoot it. We keep those for meat. It's not for me to eat. It's for my husband and his friends who LOVE to eat deer meat. I can't eat because I saw police shot it and felt sorry for it. I know it has to be done. It is just me.
