if anyones stuck on finding the box, when u get to the marked location, go to the part thats kind of like a little island (not really) and circle around it and ull see a purpe orb like whenyou conjure something and the treasure appears!, also theres a statue of a guy with a sword on it (theres a small mountain on the "island")

Well i got the map, dropped it, then killed him b4 he left, hopefully u dont need him later in the game, cause he has a daedra heart with him.

Then he'll say fine ill worship you or something like that then you say bring me the sigil stone and then he'll say resummon me again and ill have it resummon him he gives it to u and you put the sigil stone in that spot hope this answers some questions

@N99Goboree What N99Goboree says is true, you can do the summoning when you are at level 90 conjuration. You get a quest where you do it.

@just ceasor its not a puzzle you need a sigil stone which how you get is by reaching level 90 at conjuration and then you talk to phineas gesture I didn't spell it right also you talk to him you ask him what more is there to learn at conjuration and he tells you u have to summon an unbound dremora and he has a place for you go there summon the unbound dremora there then he appears you tell him bring me the sigil stone he'll say "I don't listen to mortals!" Then you kill him then resummon doit3x

ok when your at his feet fall down to the shore its only 10 feet or so and there is tons of gold n gems, you won't have any damage it is awesome!!!!!

@Darkflamer9 If you do the quests in the College of Winterhold, you eventually have to go into the Midden and talk to the Auger, who waits in that room, he is the only one that opens the door.

@Darkflamer9 that door opens up without a key when you follow the quest line in winter college. augur is behind the door and will tell you about the eye of magus.

@Darkflamer9 It's part of the College questline. There's something called the Augur of Dunlain in there. Just some magical being that tells you some stuff for the questline.

ruby- fire salts=flame atronach, sapphire- frost salts= frost atronach, amethyst- void salts- storm atronach.. easy peazy.. BE WARNED THEY WILL ATTACK YOU ON SIGHT!!! On a side note, anyone know what's behind the locked door in the Midden Dark, at the dead end, past the ice bridge.., requires a key.

@JCH6789 If you kill Velehk Sain you wont get the treasure. But if you release him you will get a treasure map. When you get close enough to the treasure it will appear. Hope this helped dude.

There is a way to get more stuff from this, what I did was buy a black soul gem from Enthir, equip soul trap and a good sword then I went and put the rings on the gauntlet and released him but before the conversation was over I exited out of it, used soul trap on him and killed him.

This gave me the treasure map, his hammerfell garb outfit, redguard boots, 2 scimitar swords, his daedra heart, his grand old soul locked up in my pocket for eternity and the general feeling that I did something goo

@BIGBOSSTEDDY If you read the "manual" on the table of the larger room, it tells you what you need to summon the atronachs. fire salt + ruby = Fire atronach. there are.. 3? in total i think. but finding the gems is the hard part.

@laggEcss yeah i like it sped up, its much better than normal slow time as you learn the same amount if it was sped up than if it was normal.
