I am a newcastle supporter and actually worked at St James' during this season and have to say getting relegated was probably one of the best things for the club at the time as they could get rid of overpaid players like michael owen etc.
As for the sale of Carrol that was one of the worst decisions ive seen in many many years.

Good video , the three main reasons of us getting relegated to me are - 1st - MIKE ASHLEY 2nd Keegan's departure and 3rd selling Shay Given , in my eyes he is the best keeper in the premiership if not the world and i don't blame him for leaving at the time he did , i just hope that Alan Shearer gets another crack at managing us as he's the man to get us back to the premiership as i can see KING KEV coming back again "IF ONLY"
