this is beautiful. can i ask you something? I notice everyone does it now. When you put black and white clips on top, it only shows parts of it. hard to explain but perhaps you know what i mean? would love to know how you do that...

Ahem *composes self* Yep. All you need to do is put one clip above the other as usual but for the top clip go to the track options where you can select things like "overlay", "source alpha" etc and just select "lighten" :) Hope that helps!
