Skyrim Guide Part 3: Red Eagle Sword & Boss

I found this sword and I'm like ok cool a draugr sword. I tried dropping it because I don't like draugr shit so I got pissed when I couldn't. This walkthrough helped.

the boss fight is pretty simple if you're a mage with all three words of power of unrelenting force=] i recommend doing this fight around level 11. i did it on adept so yeah XD great video btw... really helped =]

im level 12 beat him with out even getting hit only used dwarvern bow and iron arrows maybe 7 shots didnt get touched by him or his minions

the necklace is the amulet of talos and you cant disenchant it

Im doing a quest and it tells me to find Red Eagle's Sword but i have the two handed sword you just got and red eagles bane is this a different quest or is there some kind of weird glitch. The map shows only up to near the entrance of Red Eagle Ascent then the arrow disappears and clairvoyance becomes useless ive looked around but found nothing. Help Pls.

I killed him so easily and I'm only level 17. I did have a pretty strong greatsword though, and my magic is very powerful.

this was easy , one shot kills with my nightngale bow, went out to were you put the sword in and killed red eye with magic takes awhile but when i was done with quest it still shows its not completed WTF

I see a lot of articles on reddit's skyrim forum where people would honor their battle with Red Eagle that they would go as far as to putting him back in his tomb :)

You get the necklace in Solitude, its on the corpse of the guy who gets excuted.

fuck its impossible i failed more than 10 times in a row.... im lvl 22 archer. i tried with flames and failed, tried with sword and failed... tried mix and failed... when im higher ill go back there

@andrefaaa You can do it. Make sure to use your force shout whenever you can to stun him and kill his minions. Since you are an archer make sure to have potions that increase armor and try to stay at a distance. Hope you beat it!!

@ManufacturedOpinionn yeah, i was using it in combination with ammulet of talos to reduce shout's cooldown. i was changing between the scream that kinda stuns/knockback enemy (forgot name) and the frozen shout (forgot the name too lol)

my flames compared to yours was doing no damage at all, and i have upgraded it to do extra dmg on perk selection (my destruction is about lvl 30)

After i get out of the cave after the boss my game gets fucked up completely, Everything gets blurry, all the mountains gets black and when i press B (XBOX getting up skills, magic etc the menu doesn't come up. But i can pause using the start menu. Help please!! Is it ment to be this way or is my xbox acting wierd? :S

Cause i cant see shit. ''Update'' I switched to my xbox again trying to save and quit to main menu. It whouldn't go back to the menu, instead it gave me a black screen. HELP!

This is a minor quest, there is just loot. There are no shouts just good old XP and loot, and a bit of a story...

How do you escape the chamber after defeating him? The rock that closes behind when you enter has not moved after killing him and taking the loot in the chest. Is there a secret switch or exit?

@ManufacturedOpinionn when I put the sword in place, a rock moved, revealing a rocky tunnel into the tomb. When I completed the quest by killing Red Eagle and grabbing the loot in the chest, the rock at the end of the tunnel that I used to get there was still closed over the entrance. No other way in or out. Has my game glitched?

when i got there it was a waste of time, the weapon was not that strong for me. i had stronger weapons. but that small boss. was fun. and i did find a stronger weapon in the place. witch i guess going there wasn't a waste of time after all.

Awesome videos but I hate when the weapons are just another weapon with a enchantment. Wasn't that pretty much a Nordic great sword with a enchantment ? They need more rare variety weapons in the elder scroll games that don't look like any other weapon.

@ThreeGuysOneBucket What seemed to work for me (by accident) was walking around Windhelm. I overheard someone talking about a kid trying to find the dark brotherhood. I got the quest right after I heard that rumor. I think it is the Aretino house if I remember correctly.

thanks this really helped me out on this quest the 2 hander would be really nice if i got it earlier in the game and i wasnt going DW but anyways my DW weapons both do the same amount as the 2 hander sigh

I play rather passively. Mostly leveling on sneak,lockpick, speech, alchemy and smithing. I'm completely worthless in a fight. I'm level 24 now, this guy will probably prove to be challenging.
