Wonderful. This song actually dates from 1903. You should see her perform this as a 20-year-old in "The Picture of Dorian Gray" (MGM, 1945). It was based on the novella by Oscar Wilde, and is set in London in the 1890s, over a 20-year period. Lansbury was the tragic and lovely Sibyl Vane, a modest showgirl who committed suicide after being cast off by Dorian Gray.
@ScottVSpiro Well said. For that performance she received one of her 3 Oscar nominations and a Golden Globe. Truly a cinema, theater and television treasure.

She's also using her mother's last name.

This character's surname is taken from Angela's mothers stage name (moyna) MacGill.
She was in Dorian Grey(the movie) with Angela, she played the Duchess.
Pat MacNee was Romeo to her Juliet, so long ago, when they both auditioned for a drama school in London.

I've loved Dorian Gray's girlfriend, but it was only upon watching this video of yours that I realized who played her! Fantastic!
