  • wonderful

  • She's also using her mother's last name.

  • This character's surname is taken from Angela's mothers stage name (moyna) MacGill.

She was in Dorian Grey(the movie) with Angela, she played the Duchess.

Pat MacNee was Romeo to her Juliet, so long ago, when they both auditioned for a drama school in London.

  • Is it that odd that I heard this song first from The Picture of Dorian Gray...and I'm 13?

  • I've loved Dorian Gray's girlfriend, but it was only upon watching this video of yours that I realized who played her! Fantastic!

  • OH MY GOSH....THIS IS SO WEIRD @_@

I've seen Dorian gray like 3 times....and to hear her sing it at THIS age....its like some trippy flashback XD

  • Bravo!!!!

  • yes, but which episode of "murder" is this?

  • @tecdessus Second season, fifth episode...;-)

  • @kotlicek Thanks :-)

  • Wonderful. This song actually dates from 1903. You should see her perform this as a 20-year-old in "The Picture of Dorian Gray" (MGM, 1945). It was based on the novella by Oscar Wilde, and is set in London in the 1890s, over a 20-year period. Lansbury was the tragic and lovely Sibyl Vane, a modest showgirl who committed suicide after being cast off by Dorian Gray.

  • @ScottVSpiro Well said. For that performance she received one of her 3 Oscar nominations and a Golden Globe. Truly a cinema, theater and television treasure.

  • it's so beautiful!
