That's Internet Explorer's kiosk mode. It lets you launch IE from the command line with a special parameter to open a page full screen without the browser's normal close buttons or address bar.

where do you get your virtual machine?

You'll need a Windows XP installation disk, the free VMWare Player program and a program called Qemu. Google on how to install a virtual machine using Qemu and VMWare player.

Yeah, it's scary, but I went from not knowing anything about batch files to making this bugger in about a week's time. It's scary that it's that easy to learn. Then again, you have to know what to look for I guess. But making viruses and then using them is always a bad idea. Hurting people is a BAD thing!

Those who have hacker problems like the example above can use a combo of hardware firewall, software firewall and antimalware programs to prevent against most outside threats.

eyeAMtwinkEE it's not hard to convert a .bat into .exe as Window XP has a build in converter you can also try the following witch is to create a SHORT cut on your computer and then type copy the .bat script and put it in... after that it will compress it into EXE...you can change the extenction from EXE to MSI to SYS to DLL and it will still operate aldo it may be needing different coding as u convert it into VBS, JS ect..you can change ICO by also click propertys and addiding this SHORT cut.

compile it is much better, if you convert it, you can still find the source there is a secert way to do it, its not really secert if you understand at pc stuff

You must now know much about programming. There is a complicated series of actions to convert .bat to .exe. And you must have access to the apropriate compiler. I'm not even sure you can convert DOS commands to a .exe file. Learn to C program.

it is not a virus, cause does not copy itself or duplicate. It's a kind of malware or spyware but is not a virus. But any way it is useless; AutoIt is better.

One or more thing i did to stop the virus from the flash drive in spreading to your computer,is i just open the flash drive through the run in the start menu by typing eh drive letter,then delete the hidden autorun.inf or something like that, by showing hidden files in the tool>folder options, then view hidden files, uncheck also the hide protected and hide operating system, then go back to your flash drive, then delete the hidden autorun.inf and its components

Yeah, that's what you need to do. If the attacker was feeling mean though they could do an instant shutdown with no time to react.

They could add the file to an exe file as a trojan and have it run on extraction or execution. A smart hacker could also give the batch file the hidden and system attributes to further avoid detection. The file in the video can also spread via USB flash drives so if a real hacker were to hide the files they could be hidden on a flash drive and as long as the user had the default Windows view settings they could never see the files.

Then the virus would run every time the flash drive was plugged in.

Unfortunately an attacker could do more malicious things than I showed in the video with just a simple batch file. That's why I recommend to everyone that you turn Windows autorun off, run a good firewall like ZoneAlarm and also make sure you can view hidden and system files and folders in Windows.
