This was one of Peppard's best roles. I've been looking for this movie for a long time, but it was never released to VHS or DVD. However, I knew it as "P.J." (1968). Maybe the title was changed? Thanks for posting.
You are absolutely right! He is clearly one of the most handsome men to ever grace the silver screen... and not only that, he had elegance, personality and intelligence. That's a hard to beat combination. There will never be another like George...

Yes, I agree... It was a good part for him. Once there was talk that he would do a second PJ, but it never came to pass...

I wrote Universal about this and they said they have not released it for DVD or tape? I love this movie.
