  • I was already into hip-hop but after I heard this song on Samurai Champloo....I found music I never thought could be real. I even made a rap to it........and I don't rap.

  • this song is where it all started for me.....continue to search for GOOD MUSIC!!!

  • I'm going to do a cosplay dance to this and dress as Fuu and do a fan dance to this

  • this is art

  • "That's it. The beginning that started it all for me.. This is when Jun first introduced us to the sounds that truly changed the way we listen to music. I never knew what real music was until I heard his sound.."

  • this that shit boys

  • is this all one album? with FON and Fat Jon?

  • Even death itself cannot prevent the resonance of his soul from beyond.

  • This is the song that made me find him...R.I.P. Nujabes (Seba Jun) 1974- 2010

  • Nujabes is the best producer the world never knew about

  • If Nujabes was here in America he could have made most of the mainstream Hip-hop good again....hopefully. RIP and I'll go to your Remembrance Concert.

  • @kimkyok

but also if he would have gone mainstream they probably would have tried to change his sound one way or another

  • my fav work was just forget...herd it on samurai champloo i never listened to anything that could compare. yet :/ r.i.p jun seba

  • R.I.P. Nujabes.

    Something of quality was lost.

  • "The first beat i've ever heard from nujabes, of course from watching samurai champloo

this is where it started for me " (by iE4tBe4tz808)

Word up...I started the same way you did just because of Nujabes. If he wouldn't have been I would never have listened to this kind of music and now I'm just listening this kind of music.

For me it feels like a close friend just died.

  • @EvanAwake totally agree man

  • this is where it started for me as well :)

... first few notes of this, right here ;)

    thx for the vid*****

peace, love n' light, my brethren...

  • This song was basically the keys to the "Gate Of The Other Hip-hop World" for 99% of us.

  • 99.1%

  • @FreshGalaxy So true.

  • @FreshGalaxy no not 99% but thats a pretty close estimate if i say so myself haha

  • @FreshGalaxy So damn true. My eyes, and my ears, and my mind were opened, and they can never be shut again.

  • This track is so surreal. The first time i heard it & still to this day is the only track that has it's own sound. Everything Nujabes lays his hands on is pure quality.

  • well spoken or...typed =) lol

  • sssssssooooooooo much better with out the lyrics man, DAMN!

  • DAMN.. where'd you find the instrumental for this? shit.. I'd love to find this and spit over it... I want to get all the instrumentals from Nujabes that had emcees spit over it on his albums.. if you could direct me to some I'd appreciate it A LOT.

  • Love it ever since I first heard it, this is what got me so into Nujabes! Best beat maker to ever do it.

  • Where it all started for alot of people....

  • I got my start from listening to Shing02 b4 Nujabes. I was watching them anime. Type in "rinpa, sai, shing02"
