My friend has just been told she has vascular ED after a heart and lung scan showing major abnormalitys. I am both scared and worried for my her and wondering if anyone can suggest a good place I can get more info on this. It's just so I can fully understand and be there for her. Thanks
i have hypermoblity syndrome and has many cases of EDS in my family and until i watched this video i thought i was well educated (self educated) on EDS. Thank you for my further education :D
I suffer with EDS and this video is very helpful and informative. I have created a blog to help raise awareness about EDS and other invisible disabilities, educate others and also offer support and help to those that need it. hideandseekdisabilities.blogspot.com
Hey! I have Hypermobility EDS with many classical traits, I was just diagnosed a few weeks ago..I have started a blog about me and Bracing for Hypermobility, ironically I am in orthopedic medical sales and until now I never knew why I hurt all the time --- edsshegetitfromhermomma.blogspot.com/p/bracing-for-hypermobility.html
@silentfades Hey I never meant to offend anyone...I actually do have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and just finding out that I have the Chiari 1 Malformation along with spinal cord tethering, probably leading to brain surgery...I really do believe the braces we well are great for people with EDS. I have chronic subluxing of my hips and shoulder joints...actually am have left this job since I posted that because of how bad my symptoms have gotten over the last few months...
Though 50% of EDS cases are inherited from a parent another 50% of the cases are caused by spontaneous mutations without a parent having the mutation or a family history of the disorder.

I suffer from EDS type III, and all I can say is that more people need to be educated about it. Thank you for the video.
