fyi....The Osmonds all played more than one instruments on top of being handsome and awsome entertainers in their day. Cool trip back in time, my bedroom was wallpapered in Donny miniposters from pages torn out of Teen magazines . In Shreveport Louisiana, that was my first concert in either 5th or 6th grade and, I've been a purple girl since. Love them all.

Last but not least these guys could not, no way no how dance!Sure they had a little choreography (and I do mean a little) but it was rather half assed.Watch any J5 vid and those guys could flat out dance, Its ok you and your mum like the Osmonds...theyre your speed and thats ok.Yeah theyre still around with their wedding band act playing in Branson Mo. to a bunch of lame ass bible thumpin retirees but dont get too carried away with yourself. theyre still awful! "I Want You Back", "ABC", "The Love You Save", I'll Be There", "Never Can Say Goodbye", "Dancing Machine" , "Who's Loving You", and just about every solo track Michael recorded are recognized worldwide by more people than anything the Osmonds ever recorded. Even today if a d.j. plays "I Want You Back" or Dancing Machine, the floor will be packed with kids who were born 25 or 30 years after these songs recorded. Try it with an Osmond song.

No comparison talent wise. J5 is a once in a lifetime group. Osmonds sound like hacks. Until I see Donny "pop-lock", there can be no comparson to MJ. Vocally, MJ was one of the best in any music genre, including Opera.
This isnt the first time they did this. They did it to Chuck Berry, New Edition, Janet Jackson. Poor guy in South Africa, they completely took his song and all the money.

NO, The ONLY reason Why The Osmands "Broke" all the Records in the 70s was cause there was still Racism going on & just cause they were White... They had a ton of Pressure to be Better than The Jackson's.. Cause the Showbizz wanted to see White guys go ALL THE WAY...like Jackson's were doing.. Sadly they didn't.. it was Harder for the Jackson's.. they had to Break Down Racial Barriers while Getting through their Career..

Donny still makes my heart skip a beat! He was so charismatic; his voice could make your heart melt and let's not forget about that face and bod! I'm in my 40's and Donny still moves me as if I were a teen. I love Donny!

fyi....The Osmonds all played more than one instruments on top of being handsome and awsome entertainers in their day. Cool trip back in time, my bedroom was wallpapered in Donny miniposters from pages torn out of Teen magazines . In Shreveport Louisiana, that was my first concert in either 5th or 6th grade and, I've been a purple girl since. Love them all.

I toally agree with you even to this day the osmonds are perfect. Did you know that donny has a steal plate in his throat from a diving accident almost lost his great voice? he's is still as handsome now as he was back then and yes i was around back in he 70's I was 14 when i found out about the osmonds in the 7th grade. go OSMONDS FOR EVER THEIR CONCERT IN THE UK IS SOLD OUT.
