The original was from a stage show Chess, (Broadway, at least attempted,) that was written by members of ABBA. (They even sang in the original, but few people knew it.) This is Louise Robey, who is best known for the Friday the 13th the series. I believe this was a very early 90's performance. By the way this is not the original.

That's Robey (the female star of the "Friday the 13th the Series" which ran in first run syndication in the 80's). She was a back up singer on the original version of this song as well as having a bit part in "The Money Pit" as a member of a punk rock band being managed by Tom Hanks' character. I think she married royality or something and has kinda vanished (which is a shame). :)
