It's at the Fairy Island in DK Isles. When you take a snapshot of all fairies, you go to her place and the big fairy will reveal a golden banana with a Rare logo instead of the usual Nintendo logo. That's the bonus 6/5 banana (gotten with Tiny Kong).

Just watching this video has brought back immediate nostalgia. :) Such the great times those were, which shall never be replaced. If my memory serves me correctly, I initally rented this game and over the course of just a few minutes of playing, I was absolutely absorbed by 'Donkey Kong 64' in its entirety. There was not any question in my mind; I would tenure it for years to come. Regrettably, the orange game cartridge is no longer. Gratitude to 'Rareware', for creating such a great game. :D

Tiny has 6 golden bananas on DK Isles. the 6th golden banana is when you collect all the banana fairies for the banana fairy queen. don't ask me why Rareware did this because i have no idea, lol, but collecting the 201 golden bananas is real. trust me, i still have my N64, and i still have this game. it's one of my favorite games of all-time. :)

I gotta say that beating this beast was one of the best thing I've ever accomplish as a gamer. I got every single thing 101% complete with the special ending with not an ounce of help from stratgey guides. It's actually an easy game once you get the rhyme of the level designs. The level are huge but that are always a certain parts of the level where you can get a couple of bananas with each kong usually through mini games. I still don't know how rare fit it all in a cartridge.

Me and my brother just completed it 101 % in 38 hours. But we played a lot when we where kids so we kinda know the levels. The game was so fun taking appart. Still lots of hours from the world record The world record is 9 hours!! Ouch

Go to google and type project 64 emulator and download it, once you got that find any ROM sites for nintendo 64, then find Donkey Kong 64 and download that and once you have that a DK rar file called "Donkey Kong 64.zip" and "Project64 1.6" and you have both double click on the Project 64 icon on desktop and then click on File, Open Rom, and if the Look in address is not on Desktop, switch it to that and then select the Donkey Kong 64.zip and start playing :)

I couldn't get to like this game, DKC 1 & 2 on the snes were amazing, in DK64 they shove the overly childish style down your throat. The snes games had convincing music for the atmosphere, great level design and I actually preferred the graphics. I don't think dk64 was a shit game, it was more like another banjo. The greatness of dkc died after dkc2 on the snes.
