Just saying. I have the Original Sound Track right here and the part in this where Willow and Tara sing together (Track #4) is named "Under Your Spell" So it's not me saying it, it's Joss Whedon saying it. Because, you know, he wrote the songs.

Tara had to die so Willow could really go bad. To loose Tara was the only way for her to go on the deep end. And I think Amber didn't want to go on that dark place, she had to do darker stuff she didn't like

@spranklestar yeah when Amber was supose to come back as the first evil to convince willow to comit suicide she said no because she wanted tara to be remebered as a good person... the actual last episode of buffy was that buffy gets a wish to get anything in the world and she was going to use it on tara but she wasnt able for filming.. buffy was supose to special guest star un angel when cordiala died and when fred turn into Illyria but wasnt able for filming she was alos supose to die in angel

@Macar1994 You say that Amber wasn't avaliable for filming (With the first thing) so me and my gf came up with our own theory. Tara was truly good. Completely and utterly, there wasn't a bad bone in her body which is why the first couldn't transform into her. He can only be people who are slightly evil in any way. Hence why he couldn't become Tara.
