  • Good Lord. At least give Jaz-O credit for being the rapper in the video. While Jay-Z IS in the video, he's not the main rapper.

  • @Damika901 That ghey ass nigga Jay-Z is in it.

  • 2:01 some raw tit shaking

  • 1:12 - 1:15

    Oh damn.

  • The real reason Jay stabbed Un was because he mentioned this song.

  • why they keep carrying jayz around on that rope??? omg! lmao! he has evolved

  • what must jayz feel like when he watches this today!!!!

  • @DeeeDotBo He probably feels pretty good. The NJ Nets, Beyonce, clothing lines, clubs and about 400 mill.

  • @DeeeDotBo he must feel like: "Damn, i was really dope back then"

  • it's J A Z not J A Y - Z! good old school shit!

  • You ass, went from Jaz to hanging with Caine, to Herb, to Big And, Eminem murdered you on your own sh_t You a d_ck-riding faggot, you love the attention Queens n_ggas run you n_ggas, ask Russell Simmons

  • JAY Z FROM HAWAIN SOPHIE FAME

  • I wonder if, right then right there, Jay had any idea he would change the world.

  • i love how no one in this vid is Hawaiian

  • jay z didnt start rappin about hustlin till 95 lol thats when the whole mafioso shit started poppin. fake ass nigga

  • is it just me or will nas stans never stop talking about a beef that started ten and ended five years ago the fact that you hate jay sooo much you go on every jay video to sing the praises of nas yeah he won yeah hes one of the best ever but so is jay get over yourselves do something more productive like hate a really shitty rapper like wayne

  • Yeah, glad I was born in the 80s..

  • Will Smith kinda flavor.. lol

  • I roc-hoes you roc-fellas - Nas hahahaha

  • wow.. this is JAZ not JAY

  • So that was the American rapper Jay-Z that I've heard of? And he's rich now days??

They mentioned the rapper Jay-Z of Hawiian Sophie fame on the album Thug Life by another rapper Tupac Shakur.

  • @jdm1982 He didnt, he mention him on bomb first on 7 day theory. If 2pac was alive, Jay-z wouldnt stand a chance to him

  • @uddartt We're talking about the same thing

  • @uddartt "Jay-Z, from "Hawaiian Sophie" fame, Big Little whatever and several other corny sounding m*therf*ckers "

  • fake ass fresh prince???..ha!!!...lol@toejam813...lmao!!!

  • I'm doin some research on jay z and discovered this video lol

  • Fake ass Fresh Prince!

  • @TOEBOY813 This guy came before Will Smith, fucktard

  • @jjdabaddes Fucktard? Is dat da best u got? Fucktard? Ur SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Lame.

  • 2:44

    I'm so happy with them.

  • @1:13 look like that white guy ate that girls ass and had the gas face. thats old school

  • From day one Jay was a video hoe clinging on to the big niggas at the time only to leave them hanging dry when corporate niggas noticed Jay instead, "Hawaiian Sophie fame kept my name in his music"...*sigh*

  • @BeenaBee

Puffy too. At least 2pac didn't betray Shock G but admited like a man that he owed huge part of his sucess to that dude. If only Jazz would have had as much of loyal friend as Pac was.

  • WOW THIS IS WACK

  • Gave y'all chapters but now I keep my eyes on the Judas

With Hawaiian Sophie fame, kept my name in his music!!!!

  • Jay Z was a look out boy while real dudes like Deehaven did the dealing. Yeah you screaming 5-0 makes you real hard. hahaha even though you aint shot, robbed or ever beaten up nobody.

I would like Jigga more if he stop frontin like a gangsta and if his ignorant fans would admit that he just an overhyped rapper who Russel Simons and Rick Ruben put on the map. Even Ja Rule is harder than Jay Z.

  • Jaz put you on...doubt you gave him as much as he gave you given all you got Mr. Carter

  • 0:37 best scene !!!!!

  • WOW jay-z went from being a random bum cameo in this video to one of the richest rapper in the world & marrying one of the sexiest r&b singers..

  • This was the time when Gay Z was "hustling in the corners". ha ha ha

Such a fake cornball with ugly dicksucking lips.

  • @BENNYSIEGEL90 that's the funniest comment ever!!!

  • @BENNYSIEGEL90 Ummmm he was a dealer.....newsflash many artist in the game have sold dope at one time or another...I have not ever heard any rapper doubt his street cred.....I guess you have some inside info the rest of us are not privy to.......

  • @fdsaks

Sure sure. And most of his fans are not white suburban kids either. LOLZ

But don"t worry. Jigga don"t look nearly as wimpy and corny as Puffy did in Stacy Lattisaws video What you need.

  • Yo man it's not a Jay z song, ITS FROM JAZ

  • WOW Jay-z had a Hi-top fade XD

  • this is pretty hilarious xD...jay-Z only made a cameo he didnt rap

  • this is pretty hilarious xD

  • Jay z has a big role

  • This shit is wack!!

  • Jay-Z is a fcking pussy ass bitch and hes still nothing compared to B.I.G and 2pac

  • @jeeaaman I dont think hes trying to be anything compared to them. hes one of the least cocky rappers out there today.

  • As for Jaz, you need to check his discography. The dude has mad songs that he produced (including Jay Z).

And this song is NOT written nor produced by Jay Z. Jay Z back then was JUST a hype man. Don't let his image today fool you.

  • Some of you who diss this song don't even know the evolution of Hip Hop. Many of today's Hip Hop "gangsters" did songs like this.

Why don't you research your beleved Dr. Dre. You'd be surprised what he did before NWA got a hold of him.

EVERYONE did these type of sings in teh 80's. Learn the history of Hip Hop. Songs like this is what got Hip Hop in the door. If it would have stuck with the original format it would have never made it mainstream.

Hip Hop didnt start with Lil Wayne.

  • @khaliamoon if pac was alive and kickin, dre wouldn't have had nearly a successful career as he managed otherwise. neither would jay-z for that matter. pac woulda made sure of that.

  • @trollolololulz I agree. In fact, had Pac survives much of what people listen to today wouldn't even get airtime. I'm more old school, myself. But Pac would have definitley shook things up. Hip Hop today is watered down. Pac was more than just a rapper. He actually made sense and had messages in his music. He had TALENT.

Jay Z would have did his best to do something with Pac. Lil Wayne & Soulja Boy wouldn't even been heard. Pac's death opened the gutter. Now everybody can make a CD, wack or not

  • @khaliamoon oh shut the fuck up pac wouldnt haver changed shit, hiphop was getting more and more popular the commercialisation was inevitable.

  • @AlizeCiz Eat my coochie, little boy. Bring your father with you. I know he's tired of molesting you. I'll give him a father's day gift he'll never forget. You can watch. Maybe you'll learn something.

  • @khaliamoon LMAO LMAO LMAO!!!!

  • @khaliamoon Look whore nobody wants aids, keep your gifts.

  • @khaliamoon Jay-Z, from "Hawaiian Sophie" fame /2pac

  • @khaliamoon Nas didnt do this bullshit lol

  • @FedExHumper You must have the wrong person because I never said Nas did this. backtrack the posts.

  • @khaliamoon i respect your opinion buuuuuuut this song was wack then and is wack now!!! the hawaiian shit was lame!!! dr. dre was doin shit that was hot in the SOcal scene back then which was electro music. that's what was poppin. hawaiian sophie was NOT hot and NOBODY was doin this back then! HENCE they didnt do shit!!

  • @kchoodsta Dre started with the World Class Wrecking Crew wearing tight suits and jheri curls. Now, in SoCal it was hot. I was living in Seattle at the time. But in NYC (where I was raised and have sinced returned) it was rather wack.

But that's respected. Everyone has their opinions. Sophie was hot on the East Coast. Maybe not on the West. East & West had thier own brand at the time. What hit on the East didn't on the West and vice verse.

  • @khaliamoon WRONG! YOU TRY TO SAY DR. DRE KUZ HES FROM THE WEST COAST. NIGGAS CAME BEFORE HIM.. SPICE 1 EASY E ICE CUBE C BO NEVER DID NO GAY ASS SHIT LIKE THIS! THE NIGGA JAYZ CHANGED HIS WHOLE STYLE TO SOMETHING HE WASNT. REAL RECOGNIZE REAL. BUT I DO LIKE SOME OF HIS MUSIC..WIT HIS SATANIC ASS!

  • @khaliamoon lol like the electro hop group who dressed like the village people?

  • why was Jay-Z a hypeman for this wack ass rapper?

  • @scarrmd This dude put jay Z on. besides, back then every rapper had their crazy song. Jaz was actually one of the hardest rappers out there. Do your history, fool. Jaz (not Jay Z) is a legend in Hip Hop.

Who do you think produced Jay Z's first album? And why do you think Jay Z says, "he's still spendning money from '88?"

One more thing. Jay Z was just a DJ. He got his name from Big Jaz.

  • jay-z is a 33rd degree freemason

  • Just hawaiian shirts, hanging with little Chase

  • God dis is wack, thank God Jayz was nt the one dat did this song but it is a stain on the great ones resume ....LOL!

  • shit song and even worse video, what a shitty concept im surprised at no point did they go HOLY FUCK WHAT ARE WE DOING?!

  • Comment removed

  • worst rap song ever. before wayne came along

  • Lol funny lookin mothafuckaz

  • 4real my nigga?

  • lol jay z

  • Man dudes come a long way. Funny motherfuckers! On the West Coast it was all about NWA, fuck the funny shit.

  • this a shit!!!

  • good story teller

  • Jayz was 19 in this video he was so young.

  • LMAO I cant stop laughing at dude at the 3:33 mark he was gettin down.

  • This song wrecked jaz's carrer....lol....

  • @JustinisInfamous what career?

  • 0:56........LMAO....LOL.....XD....................hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha......ROFL....LMAO......LOL......JAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJAJA

  • yea but jayz is in it...thats the only way jay got shine...cuz when he was living in the biggie, tupac, Big L and pun era he got no shine...while nas was gettin shine nd was considered a lyrical monster in that era....it took jay the best to die off for him to start to get shine......cuz his shit wasn't amazing or nufin

  • 0:38 BEST ENTRANCE.

  • 0:54 they got jigga hanging there and shit ........lmao

  • you came a long way jay...

  • 0:51 LMFAO Jay-z looks like Steve Urkel.

  • jay z was tryin to rap he rapped in a few of jaz tracks on this album, like the origonators if your a jay fan atleast get YOUR facts straight.

  • Why is this entitle Hawaiian Sophie by Jay Z when the artist is actually Big Jaz and jay Z was just a back up guy?

  • This defiently has a Fresh Prince and DJ Jazzy Jeff written all over it...this is why it pays off being original I wondered what ever happened to Jaz also lets bare in mind EMI is to fully blame for this nuff said

  • @v1ent JAZ O (aka Big Jaz aka Jaz) and jay Z fell out. Jaz produced Jay Z's Reasonable Doubt. This is the album that put Jay Z out there.

  • @khaliamoon that never really answered my question

  • @v1ent Jaz is still producing. He and jay Z just aren't doing business together (that last t I heard as of last summer). They fell out over Damon Dash. JZ wanted to work w Dash and wanted Jaz to follow. Jaz wasnt feeling it but he still produced the Reasonable doubt LP. Afterwards they parted ways. They both made dis records.

Jaz should have been credited 4 JZ's success. The Reasonable Doubt album was explosive and without it, Jay may not have been anything with Pac, Big L & Biggie out there.

  • @v1ent JZ wasn't all that when it came to rap. In fact, JZ has a history of stealing other peoples hooks, etc. His "Girls, girl, girls" thing was a hijack of the Crash Crew's routine in the early days. He never gave them the props and maintains that he made it up although you can find it anywhere. Just like "Me & my girlfriend" that he jack'd from Pac. I could list a whole CD of things he refried to success and not acknowledge those who made it up. JZ is a sensational artist but, well, you know

  • hahahahahahahaha did that just heppen?

  • it's 1989!!!!!! geesh of COURSE its cheesy...lol

  • LMAO!!!!!!!!!!

  • Haha Jay-Z was a nobody in the projects when this came out and this is the length he went to get himself noticed, suckin Jaz's dick to get put on puppet strings, no quick 16 bars, no pies, no case, just a goddamn hawaaiian shirt hangin with little chase...good job Nas

  • @BeenaBee Jay was moving keys at this time he had no interest in being a rapper it was another 6 years until he put out a single. get ure facts straight

  • @datkidepik93 so? the point is he stole another niggas life and swag n ran with it

  • @datkidepik93 yh ppl say jay shits on alot of ppl that helped him come up but i still dont understand when ppl say "he stole swag"...whos exactly???

  • @datkidepik93 What are you 3 yrs old. Go listen to JAY Z SWAGGER JACKER...he stole from EVERY RAPPER....even go go dance music..LOL! he came into the rap game copying NAS. He even put nas voice in his music and on his hooks. Dam did you ever heard NS song ether??

  • @falseistrue Yh those lines that jay took from big are so obvious, i could have told u that. they were tight so what do u expect "was BIG's brother" said kanye. Countless guys do it to jay so should we shut down all those rappers? Ima fan of Cam but hes bitter and he has no integrity, why would u diss kanye then weeks later jump on his tracks? No Morals!! So Jay is on top, why dont you do that and try to get where jay is?why doesnt Cam put that energy into making more money. Best Lyricist=Lupe

  • @datkidepik93 Yeah sure make a biter seems better. No rapper in history stole more lyrics than jz. Nas is the best lyricist in hip hop history. I bet you never heard HALF of nas shit. Lupe??LOL!!!!!!!!! a Nas imitator..

  • @falseistrue Ha i'd say ive heard 75% of nas's stuff, yh i believe he is a better lyricist than jay. Lupe is a wizard with the words, paintin 3 pictures at once. "a nas immitator"-thats just tragic.

  • @datkidepik93 So I guess you only heard 75% of Lupe shit to be comparing to Nas. Majority of Nas best songs were not on his albums..! EVERY rapper was influence or stole from nas asshole from Rakim, 2pac, Jay Z Biggie, 50, eminem, Lupe the list is very long. NOONE used words the way nas has and still cant to this day. Nas at 18 was better than every rapper in the past and present. Just for fun listen to Deja Vu from nas. Lupe wish he was nas. Lupe dont even has great lines hes basic!

  • @falseistrue 2Pac was not influenced by Nas and stole nothing from him. 2Pac was famous before Nas and 2Pac shits on Nas. They were beefing and wen 2Pac died Nas was on his nuts. Thats how good Pac was. Dre, Nas, Biggie, Mop Deep, Jay-z, and Snoop all had problems with Pac around the time of his death but they all showed love for him wen he died because they couldn't deny that he was the shit.

  • @camgan1 wowww...now ur completely wrong....i'll give u dat tupac has been out longer than nas but to say that afta pac died nas jumped on his nuts...how, nas neva sampled any of tupacs songs...didn't bit not even a verse from tupac...nas has always done his own his ...if anything ppl have sampled nas....like da great Big L and da garbage Jayz.....nas neva even did a dis track to pac...if anything pac was the one comin at nas but nas just brushed him aside cuz nas isn't into that mainstream shit

  • @vicmo25 "No disrespect to Nas but the whole world is Mine" -2pac NAS INFLUENCE ALL RAPPERS from Rakim to Lil Wayne.

  • @falseistrue but thats the thing...ur talking about influence...i kno rakim influenced nas....influence is one thing but to jump on sumone nuts is anotha, becuz if u think of it like that then u influenced tupac...nd who influenced the person that influenced tupac nd on goin.....on nd u said that tupac influenced rakim....how da fuk did that happen rakim was been rappin since b4 tupac came out....nd that song was a diss to nas but pac was gonna take it out he just neva did cuz he diedb4 he could

  • @vicmo25 By what i said I mean how Nas had a moment of silence at a concert and constantly praised Pac after his death. He also did the Thugz Mansion remix where he was talking about Pac and his mom.

  • @camgan1 of course he praised pac afta his death...him nd pac settled their beef nd he nd pac we're boys wtf....he also praised biggie nd big L at times...nd his mom nd everybody around him wtf....dat don't mean that he was on homeboy nuts like u said...u made it seem like nas swagga jacked tupac nd shit....nas always had his own flow his own everything.....nd dat song by pac the diss wasn't suppose to come out do ur homework there....pac died b4 he could remove it cuz him nd nas fixed they beef

  • @vicmo25 I wasn't saying Nas took any style or flow from Pac. I was saying that Pac wasn't influenced by Nas and I said how everyone who was beefing with Pac praised him after his death and they all showed him love out of respect because they knew how good Pac was.

  • @camgan1 i'll give u dat pac was neva influenced by nas but 4 u to say that nas jumped on pac's nuts is ridiculous.......nas neva rode on anything tupac....so u need to do ur research there homeboy...nd to say pac shits on nas is also ridiculous....nas in his own rite is more of a lyricist than tupac.......pac was a poet, nas is a lyricist......i'm not knockin pac don't get me wrong but pac would have a hard time knockin nas...if anything nas has more lyrical play than pac.....cuz pac is a poet

  • @camgan1 there is a difference google it

  • @camgan1 "No disrespect to Nas but the whole world is Mine" -2pac NAS INFLUENCE ALL RAPPERS from Rakim to Lil Wayne. All the top artist had issue with pac and that should be an indication of who he was. he was NOT about his people..he just talked it to sell records..PERIOD.

  • @falseistrue Pac mentioning a Nas song does not mean he was influenced by him at all. People mention other people in songs sometimes... His style, flow, and lyrics were all completely his own. And for u to say that Pac talked to sell records shows me that u obviously don't know anything about Pac. I'll leave it at that

  • People forget that Jay-Z used to be a hypeman, like all of today's big rappers,in fact he used to back you Biggie Smalls at some of his concerts. If Biggie were still alive Jay-Z wouldn't have blown up.

  • @blodachia i wouldnt say that he wouldn't have blown up..

  • @blodachia yeah atleast not to the extent that he did, he wouldve always been in biggies shadow.

  • @blodachia are you kidding me? he would'nt have blown up? have you listened to reasonable doubt? that came out when biggie was still alive, brooklyns finest? jay-z came out with at least 1 album a year from 96-03, sure this isn't something to be proud of, but he would've made it regardless if biggie was still here, his lyrics are too dirty

  • @willius19 yeah I heard that album, but lest you forget Biggie was still the greatest rappers back then,Ready to Die and Life After Death are by far better albums.Would Jay-Z be as relevant today as he was back then?yes,if Biggie were still alive would he be as huge as he is now,Hell no!in fact Jay was taking tips from big on how to come up.

  • @blodachia yo i didnt forget anything, i lived through all of these times just like you did. im not saying that jay is better than big, cause he isnt, and its too bad he was taken from us at the age he was, but jay is right up there though. youre saying that jay wouldnt have blown up if big was still alive, i think that couldnt be any farther from the truth. if you're telling me that life after death is better than the black album, than i guess you're stuck in 1997 and set in your ways

  • @willius19 No i'm not stuck in 97 but I prefer 90's music over the music that they put out on the radio today,If you ask the vast majority of People who listen to hip hop which album they prefer they will tell you the Life After Death album although both that and the Black album are hip hop classics.
