Is that what it was? Between Rome and Deadwood. I read that Milch the creator actually created the idea of a lawless society that had some sense of order, and wanted to set it in Roman times, but HBO already had Rome in the makings so he switched the idea to Dakota times and wallah, Deadwood. I agree, no better series has ever been made, ever. And the acting is superb, the storyline is absolute and the terminology, well Fuckin better than a two bit whore cocksucker.
