@MuikuliWander Relic stance was beyond cool...But hey, as far as aging goes I think Siegfried and Mitsurugi both look much older! Other characters like Ivy and Cervantes are immortal/do not age, along with Maxi, so that's why they still appear young. ;)
@MuikuliWander Oh no no no, that is one of my create a soul characters you always see me using. That's not the actual Mitsurugi. I always make Fahros after myself! I have a really badass more Samurai-inspired Fahros costume up now too. I'll be showing that off in a future vid. You unlock some pretty badass gear as you level up in this game. :)
I used to kick my friends' asses with Mitsu and a couple of other chars back in the day in Soul Calibur II, III, and IV (I only own II myself). Seems to work well enough in V as well, but I'm pretty sad about the relic stance disappearing. It was just beyond cool.
I can only ask for more (more content, more often) like this and your tutorial; those are the best SCV videos I've found so far on the internet, keep up the good work!
Mitsurugi in SC4 was WAY BETTER!!! in SC 5 no relic stance... that is like his A game... to me mitsu feels soooo much weaker in SC5 :-( AND down kick + Y isnt a knockdown... only if i use meter :( i call that bullsh** :-( allthough mitsurugi ist still good, but its really stupid, i have to change the way i play :P allhough i loved mitsurugi in SC2 the most

@TheGod0fCookies I always did that too...and I loved the auto-parry/counter move out of Relic stance. It was my favorite stance in the game by far, but yes, to confirm, it is not in Soul Calibur V. I was very disappoint as well, trust me. The new Mitsu has grown on me though. His damage is insane to compensate for his lack of tricks from previous installments.
Awww... Oh well. I'll still get it I suppose, but I'll have to do what you do instead, mist stance. :P Though I could never get his move: Tear step, down in the others, I always do a feint instead. :L Any ideas on how to nail that move? I've done it like 7 times max in all my time on SC. .___.
@TheGod0fCookies Sorry for the late response! I had forgotten Tear Step's name, and I had to check what move that was when I was on SC V today, lol. I use it all the time, just didn't know the name. So to do the just input to actually get a Tear Step in the other games: If I was on pad, I would sort of cock my thumb up and to the right from the Y button, and slide it at a downward/left angle across Y and X to get the fastest input just frame for Tear Step!
god damn man i wish i was that good. I am a mitsu player as well i can do all the same moves u can but not with the same flow or mix ups u keep them so off balance i simply cannot do it. Rly pisses me off but after over 200 matches i don't seem to be getting better. Sitting at about 94-49 on ranked
@KyokushinTruth Don't sweat it man, I've been playing Mitsurugi since Soul Calibur II. How to mix up his high/low/throw game just comes naturally to me at this point. But for some quick tips I would say make sure you know a couple different ways to combo in to his super, which does a ton of damage (I might actually make a video on this tomorrow; would that be helpful?). Also memorize all his "EX" moves that cost meter, and make sure to use them! Also, B+K stance is huge for keeping on pressure!
