  • O.o wtf... Omar is my dad! :O

  • Dude you suckk!

  • i dont get y ppl like using the wii wheel so much.

  • @uisztupid Me, I find it more fun.

  • iam hacker

  • my friend code is 4941-7404-6300

  • When you're using Rosalina in the Jetsetter, is your Mii always in Alton Brown?

  • Do most people use Toad or Baby Mario in the Bullet Bike?

  • lame!.....ooo...thats awesome.... racing is not about wining its about having fun just mario (frooooom honk!) race like a big boy "modnation" buy it now

  • i really like the bullet bill but i dont like how you have to be in last or 11th to use it. but i see what they were going for so i guess it's okay

  • I faced a hacker for the first time today....wow

The only bad part is that when the hacker left and there was only 4 racers left. I kept getting blue shells while I was in second place. I only used one, I didn't want people to think I was hacking. 0_o It was really weird getting all those blue shells.

  • New item in the next Mario Kart: The triple Blue Shell.

Would be fun to see that in action XD

  • That would be awesome.

  • @Syaoman that wold make the game more luck to win than skill if thats a new item

  • Why not buy a newer TV? At least from the 2000.

  • It works just fine. The TV is not the problem. I bring it up because it's odd that the TV can show a much clearer and more colorful picture than the video capturer.

  • Lol...:P Now that's ODD.

  • whats your friend code?

  • If i recall right when you are in the last postitions you get more rare items?

  • Yeah, that's a fundamental element of Mario Kart: The game helps you more if you're not doing well.

  • you can change the settings on mario cart so you get better items more often.

  • That only applies to local multiplayer, however, and only for Mario Kart Double Dash.

  • ohhhh

  • What items you get depend on what position you're in.

  • apperantly you dont know what the meaning of my comment is.

  • u can on the wii but offline u can

  • I'm not even sure how likely I am to go into a room and at least one person knows who I am on YouTube...I have strong doubts YouTube noticeability has something to do with it, but it's the only thing I can think of.

It happens regardless of if I'm doing well or not, so envy can't be a part of it.

  • Regarding your comments on the last race, it really annoys me when reviewers keep saying that Blue Shells are too overpowered. They're a huge part of making the game ballenced!

  • That's entirely true. But that still doesn't mean that they're not cheap. They're part of the game, and you just gotta hope the randomizer doesn't hit it.

  • 3:32 wtf chavez XD

  • Did you beat the game.

  • blue shells are fair and unfair.

Fair because they make any person who abuses funky kong susceptible to a loss.

Unfair because they almost never help the person who gets them... They have a bit in common with bloopers in that respect.

  • I agree with the funky kong part. But I don't use him. I consider it cheap. I use Peach. However I think Blue Shells a cheaper the Funky.

  • I think my keyboard might be going... I remember typing all the letters in the words, "are cheaper then Funky" not "a cheaper the Funky"...

  • Ophie, do you play MKW on specific times? The only chance I get to race you is on MH and that's about it.

  • Oh and I don't like the Blue Shells, if I didn't mention that. If you get that far in first (I often am, though it's really hard to) I believe you deserve to be there. The Blue Shell really screws up your chances of staying leader. Which I think is unfair to those who play by skill, and skill alone, like me.

  • You say that like as if there's no skill in using items, when in fact there is and I've made items my specialty in every Mario Kart game I've ever played. (Which I believe is all of them except the original.)

The reason why people get huge leads like that is because the person in 2nd place and below must attack and defend whereas the person in 1st place only has to defend, both having an equal amount of chances for items. This means people in 2nd or below will get hit far more often.

  • That's true there's skill in using items, and the second place man has to do a ton (Been there myself plenty), I'm just saying that sometimes someone has worked hard for that spot, and deserves it. Blue shells are part of the game, and I wouldn't take them away, but maaaan do I hate them.

  • Didn't happen here, unfortunately, since DS Delfino Square begins with a very long straightaway, giving karts an instant disadvantage. And the people in 3rd place and below started firing away at me from the get-go, allowing Walker to go on ahead as I get hit by things and waste my ammunition blocking attacks.

  • I've had problems with rooms turning against me in Brawl, but not in Mario Kart Wii. I suppose it's harder to hit someone in first though. It's a fight to keep it still though because of the blue shells I will admit.

  • you say people who are throwing items are the cause of your doing poorly. while that does play a huge part in it, you're also using a bad kart, the wii wheel, and auto drift. it's pretty much a given that you're not gonna do too well.

  • How's that? I'm far more vulnerable when I use manual drift, and I can turn at exactly the angles I want with the Wii Wheel. (I like using the Jetsetter most of all, since it allows me to push bikers around better than any other kart.)

  • well, i guess it just depends on the person. i personally do way better with the GC controller, a bike, and manual drifting. but that's just me. and yes, pushing people around is nice. but.... i try not to do it that much. because i get really pissed off when some heavy character knocks me off the track when i'm standing still after getting hit by an item or something.

  • As I use karts, wheelies are what would mess me up the ost because karts get ahead in straightaways through slipstreams...and there's no easier way to break someone's slipstreaming than through a wheelie.

And yeah, I'm used to the Wii Wheel and automatic drift. The Wii Wheel was something I had to get used to, but I have complete control over it.

  • Nice races There overhazard

  • i once raced this guy that stayed on the line for the first lap on dk mountain. after the cannon on the second lap, he bullet bill past me, transformed back and bullet bill again without hitting a item box. if he is one lap behind, shouldnt the game give him a golden mushroom?

  • i think it might be g.r from part 1. he was mario, he stayed at the line for lap 1 and he was a guest.

  • Apparently, it started to happen to you and Danswich for a little while, so I think YouTube HAS something to do with it.

  • Great racing Overhazard. I enjoy watching people use karts over bikes, since almost everyone uses bikes. Your quality is amazing as well, although it is a bit blurry overall. I get those "unfriendly rooms" as well. Though I really can't say much; I would knock people down to increase my VR. I just don't enjoy those people who try to hit with you while they are invincible or huge. But yeah, that's MKW life =P

  • Except that these people are attacking other people not to get ahead, but to maintain their positions. I imagine that some people, when they notice someone with a rank or a reasonably high VR fall behind, will try to keep that person behind in order to see a big loss of VR. That is, they don't aim to succeed. They aim to make others fail.

  • Oh, I understand now. That has happened to me actually. I remember one person who was only after me after I hit him with a star in a previous race, causing him to lose VR. Every race from then on, he would only try to get me, whether he was in front of me or not. I remember he had the triple red shell in third while I was in sixth. He stopped on that straightaway in Delfino Square and waited for me to pass him and hit me with all three. I'm sure I left that room too. Sad that people do this.

  • All too often, I see people firing Green Shells, but sometimes even Red Shells, behind them even though there are clearly people in range directly in front of them who are unprotected. I always feel like there's a target marker on my head when I play.

You may be right; the increased aggression may be due to revenge. And since people see things through their own perspective, it could take many many hits for the rage from one blow to subside.

  • In my opinion Nintendo should have putten more items like the boo item from mario kart wii or some special item for each character liked double dash. That could have helped make the game more balanced or something but yea you just gotta have the right vechicle because like that last race for example people just use the fast vechicles etc to win. Its just all about competitive gameplans

  • Good races but i mean people just constantly hit just to put pressure on the opponent to not make mistakes and fall into a deep hole where he or she cant recover. Getting over these kinds of situations like getting ahead has alot to do with the type of vechicles you choose, as well as picking either automatic or manual. I see some of your points though but hopefully your hd vids shouldnt be really be that big of a problem, since the hd does pretty well to be honest in my opinion.

  • hey overhazard wat's ur friend code for PBR and SSBB?

  • Heh, not many times I see Overhazard say things like "freaking". Heh heh.

  • hey overhazard whats your friend code i really really wanna race you sometime!

  • Great racing, Overhazard. Great quality as well.

You know, something I've found is that in general is that I have horrible luck with items. I mean, I'll be in dead last, on the last leg, with a huge crowd in front of me, and a Bullet Bill would save me from humiliation. And you know what I get? Freakin' TRIPLE MUSHROOMS. It seems that you have at least slightly better luck, although you're not in last very often. ^_^

  • I believe that there's too much clashing probability for blue shells for the race that only one was thrown and that's it.

Besides that, Walker completed the race in 2:40. Though less than Pro's and WR, that's impressive enough to maintain a huge lead.

  • This is a normal race where many thigns can go wrong and you get one shot though. It's obviously no world record because those are done under ideal conditions.

  • Yeah I hear ya.

  • Thanks for all ur videos

  • I like the quality, but it's a bit blurry without the HQ option.

  • I think I can see a difference in quality in this video compared to some of your older ones. Definitely better in my opinion.

  • Same here.

And Overhazard, your videos from last year weren't blurry when I first saw them, but now they like increasingly blurry when I go back to them.

  • This seems like a fun game, probably get it soon.

    And first, I guess.
