For those who take training and workout seriously, please dont get stuck on how many reps you do, make sure the entire exersise routine gets well done instead of rushing of and doing 20 bad reps, youll gain so much more to 5 good ones. Listen to the trainer and unless youre an advanced athlete, dont experiment.
A suggestion GSP RushFit II should pick up the intensity just a bit. I love the current pace of the Rushfit workouts, but as someone used to the P90X and Insanity workouts I find the Rushfit to never really go into the 5th gear. I would love it if in the future you'd incorporate greater intensity for at least 45 mins of a workout. Thanks and Congrats on the great DVD.
Thanks for the question! A pull up bar is not required for the RUSHFIT 8 Week Program, all you need are dumbbells. This video is part of a series of short clips we shot that demonstrate some of the more advanced exercises that GSP and other MMA athletes use.
@cmstudios11 No firm plans yet to shoot an advanced RUSHFIT series, but it's definitely a possibility. The main reason we didn't include pull-ups in the current series is that not many people have a chin-up bar at home, and we didn't want to force people to buy one in order to complete the program.
@cmstudios11 dude, i've done MMA for like 4 yeras now. i'm 24, one of the main questions i've been asking myself is "how can i do my own little workout at home to get better?" cuz no "4 sets of 10" is gunna help me get there. i mean u can search the web to the ends of the earth to see how you can train urself. and all this equipment is needed, memberships that are stupid expensive or you can try this. all i know is i'm gettin an awesome workout. GSP's sweat isn't fake there.

I'm a big fan of these workouts, and I really hope you make another series with advanced routines.

I can do about 20-30 of these per set. I guess GSP can only do 2. What a wussy!

@GenXUnderground Thanks buddy - and I was messing around, BTW. There's no way I can do 20-30 of those.

I've been working out for a while now.
I can do about 20 reps with a 28 lbs dumbell, then I fail...
how heavy dumbells should I use for the Rushfit program?
