I love this book - it's not quite as good as the Edge Chronicles, but I definitely have a weakness for dragons. :D

@StariingDown It is the first in the series, and once you get into it, it is quite a lot like the edge chronicles, just for an older audience

It's a good book... and the plot is extremely similar to Stardust...

picked it off "children's fantasy" shelf, and that is SOO misleading!

i red Tolkien and HP, but this is NOTHING alike! it+s a book about love and death, in SAME pot! power, violence, death, beauty, dissecting critters, blood, (and far worse), and in middle one slender girl, former farm slave, a seasoned tracker, and a steady stream of death..

it IS good, but if you've red only "civil" fantasy, prepare mentally, this is more like Deadwood than LOTR!

WOW, im definetaly going to get this book, i've read all the Edge Chronicles and all Barnaby Grimes and they were AMAZING,cant wait to get this :)

Lovely, old school animation. Has shades of Noggin The Nog but oozes all the imagination and humour from the boys who brought us The Edge Chronicles!

When's the actual series then, Channel 4?!
