Mac book pro batteries are horrible. He forgot to mention the bloating battery problem when these things simply explode. Don't take my word for it. Do a search on MacBook Pro battery and view the photos. Same thing happened to mine.
The topper, Apple basically tells you to go on their site and purchase a new one.
Eight hours?! I'm lucky if I get two hours out of mine. I've never, ever had my battery last for anything close to eight hours.
