  • you should make a video removing the restriction plate

  • its a 10ft boat any smaller and it be a bath tub with 15 hrs pushing it

  • @timkalow It's actually an 18.2 hp. I removed the restriction plate between the carby and ajusted the governor. The other boat was a 12ft fiberglass runabout with a 25hp yammy. I do actually use the boat as a spa bath during winter.

  • where did you get that boat is it home made or? id like to have one like that

  • @mufflerbearin It was a standard 2.95mtr Blue Fin V-nose Punt. We did the mods ourselves. Side decks, trim tabs, bait board with rocket launchers, center console, hand rails, casting deck etc. It's a head-turner, I love it :)

  • why do people put silly music on there clips every body just mutes anyway never going to learn!!!!

  • @bazamonday1 Why do you have a youtube account? Just so you can whinge about the music on clips? Mute the music, no one gives a shit but try muting yourself as well if you have nothing positive to say... never going to learn!!!!

  • @bazamonday1 i didnt mute and I LIKE IT

  • Looks like 3 people would rather spend their summer in a bathtub!!!

  • Trim it up one notch

  • Looks like you goofy bastards were having fun!!!!!

  • 48 km/h is not bad for a 15 hk :P ..

  • Beer plus stupid people plus boats plus no life jackets hmmmm u do the math.....

  • @uran00b121896 I did the maths for you and am happy to say the answer is... A lot of fun! :D

  • @djbisho good response mate dont listen to that land lubber

  • @uran00b121896 man no one cares......

  • thats a mercury 15 super if im not mistaken so its actually equivalent to an 18hp my mates have one

  • @v133n You are quite correct my friend, just adjust the governor screw and remove the restricter plate on the carby . Made by Tohatsu.

  • Looks like fun ! But wait !!>>nolife jackets ?? Alchohol not a GOOD mix ...

  • hehe me its 32 mph in princecraft 14" and 15 hp jonson

    150 lbs motor in

    xD

  • i wish i was drunk enough to put a fast motor on a bath tub! haha that's sick!

  • @flipsk8r3297 Keep drinking... you'll get there!

  • 30 mph in a small boat like that is plenty fast!

    Jeff

  • HAHAHA,looks like fun at 1:47!

how's the fuelconsumption of the merc?

    And how much cc?

  • @lodestar260 I'm not sure of the exact fuel consumption but I can spend 3-4 hours running at full noise on 10 litres of premixed premium fuel. This 15hp model merc is a governed 18hp (made by tohatsu) You can remover the restrictor plate from the carby and adjust the governor screw to get the full 18 hourses out of it.

  • What's the prop pitch on the boats?

  • @BandB1111111 Im not sure i'll find out. Mine is just the standard aluminium prop that comes with the new merc 15hp super. The 25 had a stainless after market prop on it.

  • @djbisho Standard prop might be middle of the road pitch...might be a higher pitch which may increase top speed on a very light weight boat...it increased my boat speed moving to the highest pitch for my 8 hp Tohatsu....then keep the original as a spare prop

  • 51km/hr is only 31 mph its not that fast my 12ft ran 29.1 and it dosnt have any trim tabs or nuthing. iam trying to get a video but i never have time

  • @postopia1992 31mph isn't that fast but it seems fast in some chop when your getting a metre out of the water and the prop is getting air. I could get faster if i took everything out of it but would only be an extra 1-3km/h. At the end of the day its only a 10ft tinny with a 15hp motor... just abit of fun.

  • looks heaps of fun. The ocean water shots, where about is that??

  • what about a vid of the 12 foot fibreglass boat with a yamaha 25hp? would like to see it... ;)

  • what about a vid of the 12 foot fibreglass boat with a yamaha 25hp? would like to see it... ;)

  • @guitonudo i'll get some footage of the fibreglass boat when we are out next. shit weather at the moment tho. To be fair the fibreglass boat is much heavier than mine. if the motors were on identical boats the 25hp yammy would blow it away no doubt. I'll also get some more footage of my boat getting some air off chop when i get an opportunity over summer. happy Boating Bro

  • getting there, but I'm thinking closer to 80km/h

  • @pinkbutterflyracing ... your farkin flying in that video man! Your crazy fookers, im impressed. What size motor is that you have on?

  • Slow as compared to ours

  • Like the video!!! where can we see the other side video?

  • @guitonudo I'll get some footage of the boat with all the new mods on in the next month. It looks awesome and handles heaps better.

  • i like your video, i love your boat. thanks guys for sharing, now i understand you don't need a big boat to have fun.cheers!

  • @ruel68ify big boats can be a a hassle. I get the boat on & off with little effort and takes 5 mins to wash. Its one of my favorite "toys". Thanks for the comment bro... Cheers!
