There is a complex law making process, which also involves the Council (ministers of all the European memberstates), and the European Parliament (with represantatives that were elected) They can make ammendements to the bills coming from the commission and they need to approve a bill before it turns into a law.

Great commercial, i laughed. Even though I either-way wanted to go voting. If you dont vote, you miss your chance to help making our system better. Therefor every citizen must be properly informed about what he votes. The statement: Do not vote, because our system is " Bullshit " doesn't count. If you do not do anything at all, how can anything be changed?

Voting is important. And if idiotic videos like that make people vote - why not. At least they do vote and don't sit and home and don't care about whats happening around us.
If you don't vote you play into the hands of those parties who you don't want to be in the european parliament... (i.e. right winged parties)

The EU parliament is not legitimate.
No-one was asked if they wanted it.
It does not have an opposition.
Proposed legislation doesn't originate in the parliament but from an un-elected commission.
The system of voting rights is un-democratic.
The parliament does not have citizens/voters of it's own but has to borrow them from nation states.
Brussels is DEAF to the opinions of Europeans on big issues like the Lisbon Treaty or enlargement .
Their salaries are bloated and corruption is rife.
