  • @ARCHIVESOCIETY That's awesome. P90X is an amazing prog. I've done a few more rounds after this round. I started seeing results after 3 weeks. I started noticed my arms were getting more muscular and I was getting stronger.

    We are now on week 8, and for the first time I felt Plyometrics was bearable, even though it's not 100% yet, but it's mad ho the recoveryweeks recharges you! So excited to see the final results on day 90,and to start next round : )

  • Just beautiful........I can see the definition around the ab and waist area. I just ordered my P90X set and all the equip. I will need...so hopefully I will see some results by March 15th of this year.

  • @adancingsuccess I hav a few vids up about my diet and what I eat. Most importantly I try to keep it simple. Chicken veggies and rice of some sort. Maybe fish sometimes are turkey. No soda and pretty much nothing fried either

If your ancestors were close to the Equator,your predisposition is even higher. When you couple that with the high sugar/high grain western diet,you get the diseases that kill most African Americans. At 56, I have to be realistic. I look fwd to the challenge of P90x when I finish this round.. Training Day 10 completed today..

  • @cwade01 A pull up bar is essential, but you can use resistance bands. Tony shows you in the video.

  • @cwade01 U don't, u can use the bands. I jus found they were not as effective as the bar for me.

  • @xant4141 After round three I did a 4rd accelerated round, it was only 60 days, now I'm starting up another round today. I'm so excited. I'm also doing Insanity too, I'm on week 6 with that.

  • ok, so lets say if i buy it, i have to do it what, 6 days a week? well on 2 days during the week i have rugby for about 3 hours, would I have to do the workout also?

  • @sexaylaydie That would be up to u. I would still do it. Unless one of those days falls on ur rest day. Try doing it for the first week or two and see how u do.

  • i got the dvds but not the actual program so i don't know when i'm supposed to do each workout.. r u supposed to do a dvd per day?

  • @andrews23451 There are three diff prog, it depends on which one u do. Classic, Doubles and Lean. But basically u will do diff dvds daily. Ex the 1st 3 wks of classic u do: chest & back/ripper, plyometrics, shoulder & arms/ripper, Yoga, legs & back/ripper, kenpo on the last day of the wkout wk, u rest of the last day. Hope this helps, any other ?s, ask away.

  • @DamnGoodOJ Yea, it can be pretty expensive, P90X cost me like 170, I think. I happen to get Insanity off ebay for 86 bucks. I did P90X like four times, so it was soo worth it though. Couldn't do it again with Insanity though.

  • @DamnGoodOJ I recommend u ckout ebay or craigs list and get it cheaper. Nt to say it's not worth it cause I've had crazy ass results from it, so to me it's worth it. But I got Insanity thru ebay, didn't wanna pay that much again, plus it's only 60 day prog.

  • It's a rocking program that works, I'm telling u I watched the freaking infomecial for months, all that time I wasted. It's so worth it. Jus gotta stay focused and consistant.

  • Great results once again!!! What is your routine like on a typical day as far as workouts are concerned? I'm a busy mom of 2 and my husband and I were trying P90X together, but I couldn't seem to fit it into my schedule.

    I guess I'm wanting to see what your day looks like if you workout in the morning vs. evening and how your eating went along with the time change.

  • For the first two rounds I did the wkouts at home. Alot of times I did them lating as I was waiting for my 2 yr old at the time to go to sleep. The wkouts sometimes got pretty late because I would fall asleep waiting for him to sleep, lol, I'd wake up and then do it. Now days I wkout at work during my hr lunch which is at 10am. On my off days I do it at home in the moring while my sons in daycare.

    Eatting made easy cause I take bf, lunch and two snacks to work, come hm and hav din and snack.

  • You look amazing! I bought my p90x a few months ago, but have been hesitant to start it.  I've been getting psychologically and physically ready for it. My start date is April 1st! One question I have for you has to do with nutrition. The program says I should be consuming 2400 calories daily. That just seems to be so much! Should I start with say 2000? I'm 5'3, weigh 168lbs. Any suggestions? Thanks!!!!

  • The calories are pretty high, but it's because ur wkingout so much. In round one I had an issue not getting all my calories in, because of this I was always tired. Think about how many calories ur gonna be burning, wkingout 6 days a week. Do what u can with the calories. Just that extra 400 calories could be a smoothie or protein shake.

  • so what is round 2? do you just do all 12 of the cd's all over again?

  • 4th round! Wow that's impressive! Did you do classic or lean? I'm currently doing classic but may switch to lean for round two because I want more cardio. I'm losing inches but not the pounds I really want to lose. I like what I see in the mirror but want more lean appearance. I was already kinda muscular but I'm getting a lil more muscular in my legs than I want...

  • I did, doubles and classic the last two times. Course classic now too.

    I've thru out the each round, so u could say doubles/classic. Inches are so much more important.

  • I know but u know how we get hung up on lbs and the scale. I'm trying not to let it dictate what I do. I use my smallest pair of jeans to gauge my results. I could barely get them mid thigh b4 christmas but now I can wear them. U wld think that wld be enough! LOL

  • Wow, this is amazing. I'm just starting p90, got watching Khalil's channel and he pointed to you. I was wondering, what's the difference between what your doing in "Round 1" and "Round 2"? Does the documentation state different workouts depending on how many times you've gone through the program? Of course, I'm a long way off from that, but just curious. Congratulations on your results, hope mine are at least a fraction of yours!

  • U can do which ever version u want, classic, lean and doubles. R1 I did doubles and R2 classic, and I'll prob do classic again for round 3, Nov 2nd.

    Congrats on starting this is an awesome program, if u stick with it.

    I'm bout to bring it agin, yeaaaaa baby.

  • Thanx, wk 5 huh, ur almost at that midway point, congrats. Yea had I seen better results I soo would have done it. But alot of people that do it miss the weights.

  • Insanity is twice as hard as P90X and every article you read will state that. It's much easier for people to half ass it with Insanity because you must have your head on right to gruel it out. If not, you're out the game. You've spoken to people that gave up or half assed throughout the entire 60 days and told you it doesn't work to hide their failure. I've been at Insanity 2 weeks now and seeing results because I'm grueling it out. It's not for the faint of heart and most will crumble under it.

  • It look very intensed, I so wanted to try it, but felt so good doing P90X that I kept it going. Not to mention I've seen better results from P90X. Alot of the results I've seen def would not hav me running out to get it. Their both tough wkouts in diff ways.

  • Soulja I was replying to brandon11140. I don't want you think that comment was towards you. Although, I see your point. They are both great programs geared to somewhat diiferent final results. This is the thing, Insanity is very intense, difficult and is not for the faint of heart. I've been at it two weeks and I'm leaning out already. It's unbelievably intense though. So, if you see people with little results, they did little. Insanity is the hardest workout on dvd and most people will bail.

  • yes I did. I ran 4 five mile runs plus a long run (8-18 miles) every week. Not jus that, but I only missed three wkouts.

  • WOW! You look amazing. I am currently on round 1 of p90x. This is week 3 day 2 for me and your photos have definitely inspired me. Prior to P90X i was able to lose 28 pounds. Went from 203 to 175. Hoping p90x can take me to that next level.  My ultimate goal weight is 150 so please please continue to post your videos because you are an inspiration. One question though, were you a runner prior to p90x? Just curious to know your activity level prior to starting the program.

  • That's awesome u lost alot of weight on ur own. P90X will def take to that next level, u jus gotta stay commited and consistant.

    I did run prior to this prog, actaully that was why I started it, thought it would really help me improve my 2nd marathon time..and it did I beat my time by 55 mins.

    Before starting the prog I went to the gym two days a wk and ran five miles three days a wk. I did alot of runnin in R1 cause I was training for the L.A marathon. Not so much in R2 15-20 wkly.

  • P90x Is weights three days of the week, with two days of cardio and one day of yoga.
