  • @MRCHAPOGUZMANLOERA SHUT THE HELL UP! you've been smoking too much of that weed you grow in your grandmama's house homie!

  • FUCK "BMW LEVELS!" That shit will break after 30,000 miles.

  • These cars are gay

    .it's a girl car

  • @MRCHAPOGUZMANLOERA i wouldnt go as far as that but the coupe is a guy car lol

  • @MRCHAPOGUZMANLOERA u angry that you dont own one when you friend do or something?

  • i hate ur reviews so much.

  • BORING...

  • of all the entry-level luxury sports sedan out there today, this has got to be one of the best (if not the best) value. Sure, it's not as athletic as the BMW, but that's not the point. A buyer would buy this if they value performance AND practicality because it has more space and more power than a BMW of the same price.

  • @jsiszero all entry sedans suck performance wise- when your shopping entry level- value is what matters lol

  • i think car reviews focus too much on the little details and technology. that stuff is cool, but in several years the technology will be outdated. they should focus more on reliability and overall quality. things like that matter 10 years down the road. I know that Infiniti's are extremely reliable and hold up great over the years. reviews act like things like that don't matter compared to nice features

  • @steveingvar, you have a point but I just don't see how driving a new car for a short period of time you can make predictions on reliability and overall quality. so, I see why they focus on details and the overall feel of the car or things such as driving dynamics. after all, these are things they can feel and comment about even if they aren't with the cars for extended periods of time...

  • @mardamek1 yeah i can see how they can't do that in a review. you know what i mean though? its just misleading. it seems easy for a company to put together a car that is built to sell instead of last. thats all

  • @steveingvar, I think it's not so much that reviews like this are misleading, but rather that these videos should be watched and considered, and afterwards the potential buyer should look at kelly's reviews of the ones he is considering to help narrow his choice down farther and make a selection. So, this type of a review is just one of the steps of comparing things in your head and making a selection, but it sure isn't the answer to everything.

  • I own a 2008 and they AMAZING !!!!!!

  • @trento728 I think you might need to grab a calculator for this one: 40k miles = new car, 60k miles = not so new car are you with me so far bubba? now correct me if im wrong but is $9k less or more than $13.5k? so according to you my 40k mile car is worn out and has electrical problems because its been driven so much right? but your more used and more expensive nissan is a better deal? haha i think you and trav187 are long lost brothers that came out the same inbred vagina

  • the analog clock is the signature detail in infinitis

  • I'm loving my 2008 G35x which I bought used 5 months ago with only 32K miles. I've owned only Subaru for the past 10 years, including 2000 Impreza RS, 2004 STi, 2005 Impreza RS and 2006 Tribeca (still have the last two for my wife and kids). This is not as fun as my STi was, but it's a lot more comfortable and still handles and accelerates pretty well. It's also good in snow with dedicated snow tires. I think the traction control kicks in too soon when I don't need it to, and 17.6 mpg sucks.

  • @larryganz I'm on the same boat! I owned a Subaru WRX and traded it in for a used 2008 g35xS. I love my G35. I've definitely become an Infinitir love, my next car will be one.

  • HEY!

I like the analog clock :P

  • Thats not what my 330HP G35 looks like at allllll....

  • one sexy car

  • i bought a 95 bmw 740il 5 years ago with 40k miles for 12,000 including tax with my trade in i paid about 9,000. i paid it off in 3 years. now that car is $65,000 new. so now ive been saving 400 a month by not buying a g35 and putting that money on my car for repairs/new rims etc.. except ive added all my expenses and i havent spent more then 65 a month so far in 5 years. and im driving a 65,000 dollar car. you broke fools are drowning in new car expenses while im pimpin hard with extra money

  • @kerf000001

Your NOT driving a $65K car bro... its a 16 yr old $9K car, which you got TAKEN on apparently.. Your payment was $400.00 a month on a $9K loan???... I'd say you got HAD bro. I'd do some simple math and spark up some common sense before trying to clown on us "broke fools".. But, keep on "pimpin" in your 16 yr old 9 thousand dollar oil stain maker, I'll gladly make my Infiniti payments and roll around in real (new) style.

  • @trav187 Corky, i will write this slow for you, i said ive been saving 400 a month by not buying a new g35 meaning that my payments were 180 not 400 so if i was paying 400 how could i be saving 400 i thought you could do simple math?. now do you really think that a car with 40k miles is an oil stainer? my 740 is like new and will not only smoke your "real (new) style" nissan but i will also pick up more sluts to fuck in my extra large back seats while your still making car payments jerking off

  • @kerf000001 Given your "pick up more sluts to fuck" statement, sums it up. And, just for the record, I'd research a little bit more before lining up with a G35/37 to "smoke" it.. The G will be 6-7 car lengths ahead of your 740 by the end of the 1/4 mile. I like 740's, but even the new 7 series would be slightly behind a G.. let alone a 9 year old 740. Your 740 weighs about 750lbs more than a G and has less horsepower, how exactly do you plan on "smoking" one?

  • @kerf000001 Excuse me.... 16 yr old 740, I had said 9.. Thats probably more like 10-12 car lengths.

  • This is rivals to the bmw 5 series

  • @trento728 335 and the g37 goes toe to toe. It's slightly faster than the g35, 335 just handles better. But next time try to word it better.

  • @trento728 say what? g35 compete's with the regualar 3 series toe to toe, not the m3.

  • i love the voice of the long haired guy...sounds like he should be on tv

  • How bout both u vagines get off this YouTube stuff n take care of yalls beef elsewhere anybody else with me

  • I think the analog clock is in many Infiniti cars, if I'm not mistaken. I think it's like a signature interior styling feature

  • I went from a bad ass 89 5.0 stang to a 2006 G35 Coupe. What a difference man! I love my G35 Coupe. The thing hauls ass and turns on a rail. I've had all kinds of cars....this one is fun to drive.

  • gettin one of these for my first car in a couple days :)

  • the g37 looks like a gay womens car now, they ruined it.

  • Is it good on gas; If you drive smart?

  • Nice review... touched on all the important points. Well done :)

  • @NightcruiserMA Major points??? These guys don't know jack. "ooo these seats are comfy, ooo this motor is fast, ooo this handles nice." You can tell they don't know anything because they use non-specific adverbs. Go to real car enthusiast to get a real review/opinion.

  • I drove a G37 as a rental and was unimpressed when comparing it to my BMW 328. My BMW is much quieter, rides more smoothly and has a much tighter turning radius. I like the BMW seats and steering feel much more. The G37 is a real nice car, but I would not trade my 328i for it.

  • @amsquare luxury and reliability is the name of the game for infiniti and also speed

  • @Miike92 Just saw a blue one of these at firestone last week with a no-start problem. So much for the reliability. I don't believe Nissan has that Japanese reliability Toyota's and Honda's are known for.

  • @dstarks80 just b/c one car has a problem doesnt mean the whole company has a problem, it could of been the drivers fault abusing the engine or any other variable but of course Lexus has better quality than infiniti

  • @Miike92 ya LEXUS has better quality then INFINITI in what area? Gving the fact TOYOTA has soo many recalls in their cars including LEXUS I highly doubt this is the case.

  • @dstarks80 I doubt TOYOTA has better reliablity then NISSAN. Only thing I can think of cause TOYOTA always pack less technology in it tjhat translate into more trouble free compared to NISSAN cars.

  • @bryanchou well to start off lexus is the number one luxury car company in sales. It has better quality nd reliability than bmws, has nicer material, etc. im not saying infinitis are bad quality just not as the caliber as lexus

  • @Miike92 I'm not sure if you mean lexus sales as a whole, but I doubt they come anywhere close to BMW or infiniti global sales. Even in the U.S I'd still have a hard time seeing it, BMW sells a lot of 3's, let alone their whole lineup. While the lexus has had some very high reliability ratings, "quality" is a bit more of a subjective category. And the Lexus won't win comparisons when it comes to "qualities" such as outright performance, fun to drive, steering feel, and more recently value.

  • @rarejd its a fact that Lexus is the number one luxury car company in sales. So they have more customers buying their product. BMW is second to that statistic. Plus lexus is just more reliable and luxurious than bmws.

  • @Miike92 That's not correct, BMW outsells Lexus globally without a problem. Your scope isn't defined, are you like 12? The LFA is a pointless supercar that hardly anyone has bought, and BMW did build the engine for the MClaren F1 supercar, not to mention has a really successful F1 team. Bmw also wins way more awards and accolades in comparison tests against lexus, as well as engine awards from wards 10 best engines. For example, the BMW 3 series outsells the lexus IS by a 7:1 ratio.

  • @rarejd oh and to the performance. Lets just say the LFA would kill the m3 which in america is the top bmw that legal

  • @Miike92 The m3 did technically beat a 911 turbo and a GTR in a comparison test on Caranddriver. The top performing BMW is technically the m6, but it's obvious you don't know all that much about cars so I'll just dismiss it. The LFA is a completely different car that doesn't compete directly with anything BMW currently makes, so there's not much of a point in bringing it up. Especially when lexus dealers are having trouble selling it, lol.

  • @rarejd haha yeah they did tests and the m3 was last in most of them and i bet if they did a track test it would lose to both too.

  • @Miike92 You're an idiot.

  • @rarejd oh im the idiot when you believe a m3 is better than the 911 turbo and GTR. Yeah, im the idiot.

  • @Miike92 Lol, reread my comment. Not only are you an idiot, but you have difficulty reading.

  • @rarejd your an idiot. bmw cannot compete with the GTR. Get over it and stop making me reread your bullshit

  • @Miike92 Making you read my comments? You're definitely 12 kid, get off youtube.

  • @rarejd yo stop acting like a straight up nig.

  • @Miike92 And racist too, with bad vernacular...

  • @rarejd hahahaha. If your vernacular is as good as your "logic" then you should know that no bmw street legal can compete with a GTR or 911 turbo.

  • @Miike92 Um no, actually, I never said the m3 was faster than either of those two cars. It did, however, win a professional comparison test. But it sounds like you're the type of person who thinks the faster car is the better car.

  • @rarejd haha yes professional, and yes biased. Did you not hear its major bias towards the m3 no matter what kind of test it lost to? If a car is faster straight away and on track, its a faster car. And of course the GTR is a better car than a m3

  • @Miike92 All car tests are subjective, so "bias" is kind of a pointless argument. If you want to go by the numbers, one coud argue that an m3 is a lot less money than a GTR. It's better built, for example it doesn't have a transmission that'll blow up and a company that won't fix it for you under their warranty if you launch it "too hard". The BMW also comes with a nice comprehensive warranty, and to say its "slow" is just being stubborn. The M3 is fast enough for anyone.

  • @Miike92 If your scope is "better is faster" then yes I'd agree with you, the GTR is a "better" car. But if you leave your scope to just the full spectrum, then I'd disagree with you. If the better car is the one that sells more, then BMW beats nissan, lexus, and porsche easy. If better is more reliable? Beat there too. More advanced technology like hydrogen powered 7 series and rolls royce's? Then BMW wins again. Formula racing team, comprehensive warranties, customer satisfaction?

  • @rarejd ummm actually bmw does not sell more than Lexus. Common misconception. Lexus is the number one luxury car company in sales for the US, BMW is close at second place. Realiability for bmw? not at all, their are so many things wrong with bmw when it comes to reliability its almost a joke. Formula raceing team, you got me there

  • @Miike92 Ah see, 1. what's your source, and 2. I was referring to global sales, not U.S. Once again, the problem of you not defining your scope. And I meant more reliable than a GTR, not than a lexus (btw).

  • @rarejd if you just type it in you get the sales facts of Lexus vs BMW in US. Globally you might be right b/c BMW has been out longer than Lexus. I have heard, seen, and experienced many technical problems with bmws, cant say the same with the GTR

  • @Miike92 Well I think building a super car, and realizing an engineering weakness when driving it hard, and then voiding customer warranty's and asking for 10,000 for a new transmission on a less than 12 month old car doesn't speak very highly of the company as a whole.

  • @rarejd people dont need to use launch control just b/c its available. Obviously its not good for any car to have since its so much stress on the transmission so it all comes down to if your a stupid driver that just abuses cars and i dont think Nissan should be responsible for that. Same situation with traction control, most cars can turn that off, but that car company isnt responsible for the damages that could happen in a crash b.c its off just cause some kid wanted to drift.

  • @Miike92 Then it defeats the purpose of having a launch control function and an Automatic only available transmission. Any reputable company wouldn't design a "supercar," show how fast it is on the nurburgring, talk about how much better it is than other sports cars at performing, and then say "Oh even though an engineer drove it on Leno with the TCS off, using L/C without TCS voids your warranty." Next time give a manual or don't include a launch control button.

  • @rarejd too bad it does have it, and plus they've made it less damaging to its tranny. Btw many other car companies have launch control other than the Nissans GTR

  • @Miike92 Yes I know there are a lot of other launch controls, that wasn't really what I was saying...

  • @rarejd its not like you use the launch control once and it just totally fucks up the tranny. Its if you abuse it.

  • @Miike92 Abuse an automatic transmission, completely computer controlled vehicle?

  • @rarejd manual tranny

  • 1:11 gay talk

  • @mikehill33 other way you tard

  • typical asian car. very asian exterior, asian marketing. Infinity, like any other asian 'luxury' brands, name themselves luxury, set price in a range of european cars and offer numerous extra stuffs that german cars dont offer in such price, except! the driving quality.

huge hp = better driving quality? Lets consider that thoughtfully.

I do think this car is good, but seeing ppl talking crap about other asian cars on offering similar great things in low price but praising these sounds ironic

  • Screw this car, Get a Z.

  • @vzes9s2k Nice choice. My dream car.

  • why is it spelled infiniti instead of infinity?

  • @deniskatashkentskiy branding

  • whats with every luxury company hitting on BMW 3-Series!? jk jk im saying that these guys always comapre it to 328i not like A4 or the Merc

  • @MCJustinG That is their target...the BMW 3 series. They are getting close, but no cigar.

  • @MCJustinG well b/c bmw 3 series own the rest. but infiniti is def. better

  • I'm confused... So is the g35 4 door and the g37 4 door the same car with a different engine?

  • Yes. Bigger engine and additional technology features

  • ive been in a g35 several times. i owned a previous gen one. but cmon, theres no way the interior is upto 3 series standards. i dont even think the 3 series has such a great interior but in terms of materials its inferior. maybe the design and tech is more pleasing tho

  • Looks like a 2006.5-2008 Kia Optima. Headlights and all. Who copied who and WHY?

  • Where you on drugs when you wrote this?!Where in the hell do you constitute stating the absurd fact or more like your opinion that this car looks like a Kia Optima?? The headlights if anything where inspired from the previous generation G, the headlights where just facelifted and the exterior was redisigned. And by the way the G35 sedan and coupe has been in production since 2003 and discontnued in 2007 the kia optima has only been since 2006. If anything trash class cars copied Luxury top dogs.

  • Selma Hayek is hotter than Kathrine Zeta Jones! C'mon have you seen her tits??!!!??

  • Looks just like an expensive nissan 350-370

  • same car basically.

  • so what

  • JESUS H KRYST ... listening to these two guys cut back and forth is worse than standing next to two airheads jabber at a nightclub .. FUCK.

  • sorry but i choose a passat over this horrible design anyday, not to mention an audi or bmw

  • @mazinais31 same here infiniti's, lexus, and acura are all just hondas, toyotas, and nissans with better body kits

  • Top Gear wannabes? These guys are just out doing car reviews for the average person, not enthusiasts.

  • @TheKatoom ummm idk if you read the username. Its called everyday driver for a reason

  • @TheKatoom exactly man...not too many of us give a SHIT which european exotic supercar some famous brit prefers over another

  • @ch3sterp in what way? just because they review cars?

  • It'll certainly outlast it.

  • Depends on how they were maintained I suppose, but I catch your drift.

  • @geistacwm thats why I see sooo many infinitis on the road still right? wrong... Besides if you buy a BMW you wont spend 1 dime maintaining it because its included.

By the end of your first year owning the infiniti it would have saved you money to buy the 3 series. Also the Infiniti G is only a $2000 saving over the 3 series, I think the 3 series is more than $2000 better.

  • You probably never even owned a BMW so you have no idea what you are talking.

    I've owned a 2007 BMW 335i.

    1. Burns oil almost as bad as a rotary engine. Dealer tells me this is normal. That's utter bullshit.

    2. Fuel pressure pump fails. Twice.

    3. While this didn't involve my BMW, there were a large group of people who had their cars overheat.

The worst thing about a BMW?

Everything starts failing after you warranty expires. ESPECIALLY the electronics.

    Conclusion?

Traded it in for 2008 G35.

  • lol Ive owned several BMWs, thats all I buy.

  • Try a 328. More reliable than the 335i

  • Not enough "oomph" that I'd like at the price point. Sure, the handling might be one of the best but most of my driving is on a straight highway. I wanted some luxury, comfort, and practicality along with straight line power so I picked G35. If I didn't care that much practicality and luxury I would of got a Mustang GT, 370z, or some other sports car. Hell, maybe even go balls out with a Corvette.

  • @c0nv1ct1337 my gf had a 335 coupe, experience alot of electrical faults, and the fuel pump, car did less than 10k, and was traded in, for a g37 coupe, 2 years on and 30k later the g37 hasn't had a single problem, motor gets better with age.

  • @c0nv1ct1337 yeah man i always see bmw's and merceds's side of the street cuz theyr overhated these cars cant stand the hot weather especally here in middle east

  • @c0nv1ct1337 I was contemplating between a G37 or BMW and my family/friends kept tell me awful stories about BMW. I really wanted to get a Beemer, but it looks like I'm opting to get the " G". Thanks for your feedback!

  • @SLIMGOODIES06

First test drive both before you take anyone's feedback. Then count in affordability and feedback. Then make the final decision.

I also suggest test driving the Lexus IS350, Acura TL-SHD, and Audi A4. Maybe even those other cars might fit your taste.

  • @c0nv1ct1337 I test drove the Lexus IS before I bought my Infiniti and I do like the design, but the power just wasn't there. I felt like I was driving a $40k Accord. I know that may sound bad. I'm not trying to knock the Lexus, I do love the way it looks (interior and exterior), they just need to beef up their power.

  • @COWeedReport

You probably drove the IS250, those are incredibly slow. The IS350 is actually faster than the G37 from the dig so give that a shot. However, in comparison to BMW or Infiniti, it has piss poor steering feel and suspension.

  • @COWeedReport Did you try the IS350 version. That car is a little faster than the G35/37. Sounds like you drove the IS250 with only 204 hp it certainly is no dragstrip king. I still would take the G of the IS though. The IS is tuned more for luxury.

  • @SLIMGOODIES06 Go Infiniti. I can't say enough... Every BMW owner I know (which is roughly 10) says they pay for numerous repairs all the time. I have owned my G35xS for over a year and have had no problems, only typical maintenance. I like the BMW 3 series but aside from the repairs, there are too common.

  • @m19921992 LOL, I see G's/M's/FX's/QX's all over the place...

If you plan on getting rid of a BMW before the 4 year warrenty is up, fine. I like to keep a car for about 6-7 years so the horror stories about reliability was enough to keep me from buying german.

  • Also, a similary equipped 335i costs more like $8 more not $2

  • @123vr4racer Also by going with the BMW you'll save thousands over your 6 years of ownership. Not to mention with the BMW you'll have more of a drivers car you can take pride in rather than a luxury nissan maxima with decent performance. BMW is usually 10% more expensive than their competitors because BMW doesn't have a sister company to pull parts from. Also what do you know about keeping a car for 6-7 years your only 19?

  • @123vr4racer I've always bought german and have never experienced a "horror story'. All of the cars you mentioned aren't nearly as old as most the BMW's I see. Also your smoking crack if you think a 335i with similar options is 8k more, if anything there the same price. I've recently been to both dealerships a almost fully loaded 335i goes for about 48k and 45k for the infiniti. Also if it makes you sleep better at night you can get a 6 year maintenance warranty with BMW.

  • But does it handle as well as a 3-series?

  • i used to be an avid bmw 335 man. i planned out buying a fully loaded 335i sedan for $52,000 and i was happy to spend that money to get a perfect chassis.

i know the infiniti isn't as good, but the fact that a fully loaded g37 costs $39,000 whereas the bee em costs $52,000 is significant.

i'm at least going to test drive the g37 before making my decision.

sucks for infiniti's europe division where this is actually more expensive than the 335i.

in europe, nobody will buy this car.

  • 'Redundant' buttons probably provide a shortcut to common functionality. You really want to use a menu every time? The clock is a brand thing for Infiniti, how could you not know that? Infiniti, clock, time get it? Come on guys, if your going to car reviews know the details. Your misrepresenting the car. This car is also the Skyline in Japan. Yes, that Skyline. Not the GT-R version but they share genetics. The G35X is one step down from a GT-R. Come on guys....

  • Too many luxury brands and wanna-be luxury brands have an analog clock. It has nothing to do with the brand name.

  • i love there similes..lmao!

  • " the i-drive system duplicates function" what a dumbass its called technology moron maybe u shud just buy your a ford!! and the analog clock is a trademark... that dude is f-ing loco!!

  • I don't understand? a duplicated function in a car could be potentially confusing for a person! Your grammar is confusing and honestly your not making any sense.

  • i was trying to say "buy yourself a ford" i was just typing too fast cause this irritated me much like yourself when you dont know a what a duplicated function is.... maybe in your generation you need a little more i.e. technology per say when it comes to luxury cars!!

  • Comment removed

  • you obviously either work for infiniti or something of that nature since you are posting this same message on every g35 video..

Please get a life.. I have infiniti car myself, but fanboi's like you disgust me.

Go eat your freaking sushi you jap!

  • The analog clock is a signature in every Infiniti. You wouldnt say BMW should change their kidney grills

  • infiniti isn't a real company. they were founded in the 90s by taking normal american spec nissans, crossing out the nissan badge, throwing some leather onto the seats, and presto, you have a luxury car. i can't believe people fell for that. that stupid analog clock is a ridiculous knockoff of maserati and rolls royce, cars that really are using it as a tradition that stretches back almost 100 years.

  • So you define a company as being real if it has been here for more than 100 years. Have you realized that Roll Royces and Maseratis are the biggest waste of money, no wonder no one wants them. Maserati has been traded like 2 times and have almost gone bankrupt. Not that hard to take the design of a brick and put leather seats and a tv. Yea that is a real company.HOw is a clock a knock off that is like saying the seats are a knockoff? There engines are terrible, they suck.

  • shut the fuck up, i never said infiniti isn't a proper company, but i said the clock isn't a proper tradition. it's a copy of other traditions.

  • wat year did infiniti come out?

  • i believe it was 1991

  • "infiniti isn't a real company" hmm someone did say they were not a proper company now didnt they. Rolls Royce Signature is not the fucking clock you idiot. Rolls Royce Signature is that grill. The signature for Infiniti is an analog clock. Honda/Acura are known for their excellent interior, are they copying Rolls Royce you fuckin idiot?

  • they originally weren't. they were just nissans with the badge crossed out and the word infiniti written in. i used to think the g35/g37 was crap, but after hearing from these guys (whose opinions i respect after watching their c-class and 328 reviews) that the g is one of the best sports sedans for about $15,000 less than the 335, then i'll at least try it before i buy the 335i. but bmw is famous for their manual gearboxes, if infiniti's isn't as good, that extra $15,000 is worth it for me.

  • Are you an idiot. You used present tense, not past. You just said they copy tradition off people. You are an idiot. You know nothing, who the hell would think the 2005-2007 Model G35 was crap. Have you even read about the VQ35 engine or the suspension or how this car was one of the long awaited car in 2003.

  • ... because it's a copy of a german car. all japanese cars are copies. the nissan gtr for example... nissan bought a 911 turbo, cut it up, and copied its components. same with the lexus isf and bmw m3. but i guess infiniti actually made a good copy. that's the point i used to make, why buy the copy when you can buy the real thing?

if this one is really as good as they say it is, then i'll buy it. but i wasn't impressed with nissan's vq engines.

  • have you ever driven a g35. No you havent and stop watching top gear. Damn, japanese were accused of copying in the 1990's but in the new millennium it stopped. Was the other way around. People copied the japanese, cylinder deactivation Chevy copied Honda. Japanese have nothing to copy because they have perfected everything. Nissan GTR only used the AWD system from the porsche turbo and that was it.

  • Nope, sorry. These days the King Xerox is Hyundai. Squint and you'd swear the Genesis is a Merc.

  • well you have to copy the best lol

  • Who the hell cares when they were founded, you do realize they had made on of the best sport luxury cars under 35k. That car was one of the best cars made in 2003 and was long awaited. That VQ series engine is among the best and you are bagging on them. Its a clock, you cannot claim they copied it and if you had knew anything, their analog design is the signature, every car has one and they are the same, silver or gold. Nissan is 77 years old, that is a long history too.

  • The more heavy steering and chrome are wanted by Europeans.

  • no, have you seen the escalade and lincoln navigator? do you think these are cars bought by europeans? ostentatious chrome is wanted by americans, and it shows because this is an american car.

  • You are right. ostentatious chrome always was American style.

But for a few years there is a retro car cult in Europe as well. With cars like (you probably don't know but I will name a few so u can look it up) the Fiat 500, The new Mini (by BMW). These cars have more chrome options. And for instance the German Audi/BMW/Mercedes always incorporate chrome packages in their option list. It's a recent trend.

The big USA cars are rarely seen here, but its more becaurse they're too expensive here.

  • i know the fiat 500 very well, but these cars do not have nearly as much chrome as a cadillac or lincoln or any other faux american luxury car.

  • No, the European taste differs too much.

For Europeans, the optional chrome lining of the windows and maybe some decorating strips on the bumpers, is already considered as 'much chrome'.

It's not only taste, also another factor: becaurse we live in a land were they spray salt on the roads during winter. It ruins everything that is on the road.

  • well i'm with the europeans, i think it's not necessary and too ostentatious.

  • My only issue with the G35/G37 is when I rent one, I find the steering to be very heavy feeling. I know its a sedan and whatnot, but I wish it was a little lighter with better feedback.

  • Usually i'm an acura Tl fan but this make me wanna test drive it. But Acura TL 04-08 beats that in exterior and interior styling. But for the price i think the G35 is worth at least the test drive...

  • i had a 04 tl and traded it in for a 07 g35 coupe. the styling inside is slightly better but the g35 is a much better drive....u never get bored from the power and response in the g...its something the tl lacks...

  • i have a 2008 and man its nice i dont wanna stop driving like i would take the long way just to drive thats how nice it is

  • Me too!

  • BMW has more torque and is actually faster.

    Better built? My ass.

  • i have the G35X (all wheel) from 04. i dont mind it at all its beauty, n driveablitly is crazy

  • I do have that problem..it like drips especially when u make a corner with the window creeked..it drips all by the handle and i can never creek the window in the rain. haha :)

  • hahaha. 2:49. Do you know your driving into the opposite lane?

  • He did it cuz the camera guy was in the way.

  • I like the g37. The interior is nice and I like the analog clock. Gives it a more classy feel. but I agree on the exterior. I never cared for the grill. they need to pimp it up so more.

  • I like the analog clock too! It is more classy, and it is their signiture style that they put in every car. You see one, and you think Infiniti

  • pimp it up? lol how does that work?

  • that's a G37 not G35???am i wrong as i know how they look..?

  • They've increased the engine size in this same body style. Now it is a G37. When we reviewed it, this car/body style was a G35. Note the badge in the first shot. (the G37 coupe came out first with the bigger engine - then they worked it into this sedan later)

  • What is the badge?

  • lol at his friends bmw story

  • The guy with the long hair is one of the biggest fags ever. He should be fired.. or shot. He tries so hard to sound like Clarkson, makes me want to smash his face on the curb.
