  • WOW, lack of knowledge is serious. Galactus is stronger, Odin could not even hope to be Celestials, all of his power and his relam but a dent in one of their Armors. Okay lets look at how well Galactus would Fear agains them. He would can hold his own at maximum power against a Celestial. SO Odin can't even hold out but Galactus can, yeah Its clear who is stronger.

  • @Ryukikon Ignoring Scathan, a well fed Galactus can beat any Celestial 1on1, except possibly the one above all. A full powered Galactus would take on the entire Celestial host besides Scathan.

  • @rtc7788

Well for a while Galactus and a celestial was about on par. THis was clearly stupid and did not make much sense(can go on for days but I wont). So they made them simillar to watchers and made a balance between them and Galactus. Galactus fully feed would probably win in a one on one or even a two on one but 3 or more celestials I am not so sure however celestials are very inconsissten now like Galactus is with his power as they celestials power is changed alot by the one above all.

  • @Ryukikon Well if Galactus fully fed is at full power than he would take on the entire Celestial host. Since Galactus at full power is said to be equal with Eternity.

  • @rtc7788

Again I am not too sure because Galactus has been said to be fully feed and still on the cosmic scale didn't seem that impressive some times. I mean they do protray galactus power very inconsistently even when "fully fed". They have a what if comic I think and he has trouble fighting 3 celestials and he is fully fed. Still that is not canon but I mean even in canon his power is so inconsistent they then retacon and say he wasn't fed enough. So I don't rank Galactus like that.

  • @Ryukikon Well the closest we've ever seen Galactus to be "fully fed" was when he ate a Celestial and was devouring UNIVERSES. Not sure if even then he was at full power though

  • @rtc7788

Yeah but that is silly and inconssitent with how galactus on average has been displayed when he is fully powered and he does not eat UNIVERSES. Its like a fully raged wolverine tossing hulking into a stream(don't think ever happened just example), that would not be a normal item and is not constant with what a fully raged wolverine is capable of. Galactus is insanely strong however he still is inconsistantly display in power when fully feed.

  • @Ryukikon On average he is never fully powered or else writers would not put him in vs Marvel Heroes because he would literally just blink them out of existence. When he was CLOSE to being fully powered he was infact destroying UNIVERSES. That's why they always show him starving and hungry, that way they can use the ol' Galactus trying to eat a planet, and they have to drive him away somehow, yet weak enough that they can actually do something to him.

  • @rtc7788

    1

you are talking about Galactus when he is fighting low end to non cosmic creatures. I am talking about Galactus fighting high end cosmic creatures such as himself. They do inconsistently display galactus's powers. Galactus eats planets not universes. Eating universes makes no sense with the cosmic order how it was initially set. He eats planets to maintain equilibrium between eternity and oblivion, etc. Galactus is not a mulitiverse level creature.

  • @Ryukikon Its strange,u keep saying he isn't capable of eating or destroying universes like it didn't happen when it did during the black celestial arc. Galactus wasn't meant to be at full power, he is supposed to always hungry therefore, keeping the balance of the universe. However, he did achieve it once due to a Celestial, and thats why he was able to what he did. Eternity isn't multiversal either, he is the embodiment of a single universe. Unless you're referring to Multi-Eternity

  • @rtc7788

I don't think your understanding me no matter how many times I re-organize this. I think your thinking process is more a kin to state function(S.F) like concepts. Wheter they wrote Silver Surfer to lost to joint locks, as stupid as that is. However it if it put in a S.F like concept that you can say anyone with proper martial arts skill has a good chance of beating Silver Surfer. Galactus eating universes can happen, however it doesn't make sense in character history and larger uni

  • @Ryukikon A universal character can infact grow more powerful than just that. Mad Jim Jasper was potentially an OMNIVERSAL threat as stated by Merlyn. Wanda's reality warping had an multiverse effect. These characters are mere mutants from the 616 universe. Heart Of the Infinite is an artifact yet was able to absorb the multiverse. Universal characters can grow in power to be beyond a single universe. Hell, a Celestial was even shown to rival the LT's power.

  • @rtc7788

I don't really know about that, this growth thing can be viewed more as better understanding of use of powers. Multiverse level destruction I don't know about that because cosmic characters may be eased in like the beyond etc so they may do feats and seem more powerful than they really are as it is hard to tell once a certain level of cosmic is reached. The living Tribunal stops effects from disturbing the multi-verse too much.

  • @rtc7788

Oh my bad I meant to type beyonder.

  • @rtc7788

    2

Just look at how galactus was born, Galactus is similar but is not a true Cosmic being like Eternity, Infinity, Oblivion, etc. If fact Galactus can be killed without universal consequences the person who kills him would get that kind of power. He doesn't even eat galaxies. Any ways Marvel has been more than getting stupid with every X-men member becoming omega like anyway.

  • Galactus was a pre universe being he's stronger than most of the great elders, Odin wouldn't stand a chance.

  • Odin hands down.

  • @Robdoggierob Pleeeease learn the cosmic hierarchy. Odin is a skyfather. Galactus is an abstract.

  • @rtc7788 Please remember it's just a comic

  • @Robdoggierob No one said otherwise?

  • @rtc7788 Hahahaha

  • odin would lose i think but it would be epic fight but i think rune king thor would beat galactus ;)

  • i meant to say Odin sorry my mistake...

  • That was fuck up

  • Galactus would easily win, because he is the third part to the order that is Eternity and Death, he lives to rectify their imbalances.Galactus is a cosmic being, while Odin, tho powerful himself, is a mystical being, plus Odin is in now way as powerful as he was in his youth. And even then, i dont think he's as powerful as Galactus!

  • Whilst on a search for the answer to a question I have, I came across this vid and though I agree these two are mighty warriors I believe they would both be easily beaten by one character alone.

    The question I have is,

Who is the largest " humanoid form " baddie in film land ?

Galactus had been suggested by a freind, so I researched to compere him with the challanger I already have, namely " Unicron " from transformers. I think Unicron takes it.

    Please feel free to discuss.

  • @theplank1999 you've got them mixed up Odin is the guy with the beard and who is a Viking just letting you know

  • Although odin is god to man. Galactus has power on a cosmic level. When fully fed or fully charged how ever you want to put it I gotta go with Galactus on this one. I'd much rather watch Galactus vs another celestial being.

  • i think galactus would win cause he has a beard and hes a fucking viking

  • @ThePlank1999 thats odin

  • i think galactus would win............hes more of a cunt than odin

  • I never really read the comics so no one bite my head off or anything, but just based on basic knowledge, I think Galactus would win.

  • I never know what to believe anymore since it's up to the writers. I know in the comics Galactus beat Odin. A much earlier issue shows Thor son of Odin use his God Blast on Galactus which caused him to flee for his life. WTF?

  • OH MY GOD in every sense of the word this is a hard one to chose. I'd say though a fully fed Galactus may well tip the tide

  • Comment removed

  • g in place. What most of the Thor fanatics fail to realize (or admit) is that Galactus never launched an offensive attack against Odin. He won without every firing an energy blast, a punch, or even a flick of his finger. Galactus beat Odin by letting him knock himself out on his face. This doesn't imply there are peers, far from it in fact, this is something Spider-Man would do to the Hulk. I can't even see the Thing knocking himself out by head-butting the Hulk.

  • @LieKiller Odin headbutting Galactus is totally out of character. Odin has never done that. That shit was written for shock value. Odin also fires energy blast and he did not use his sacred Spear. YOU act as if these characters are acting this shit out on their own. You must not be smart enought to realize these so-called architechs don't know shit or care about portraying characters correctly. And, Matt Fraction is one of the worst. These writers are just focused on doing something new.

  • @CoogieWarrior1964 , LOL yeah I read mighty thor issue 4 wasn't too impressed! You would think Odin & Galactus' fight would be energy blasts back & forth destroying planets & stars in the process not some headbutt bs. These new comics today are just ridiclously bad with artwork or just not written well! fight was very lackluster.

  • @tonystarksghostface3 I totally agree with you on all points.

  • Also, the Thor fanboys might as well concede that Odin is outgunned here. Odin's ultimate attack, which left him so injured and depleted that he couldn't stand on his own some time AFTER Galactus departed, had little effect on Galactus. Galactus fell to earth with a busted up helment, regathered his energies, remade his helmet and stood up no worse for the wear. Odin, OTOH, admitted flat out that he lacked "the strength to keep braining that monstrosity".

Galactus > Odin, beat him by standin

  • If your curious about the issue number, it was when Galactus traveled to earth to get Thor's help from an insane Ego, and he recounted his first encounter with Thor in which it was explained that he was indeed hungry.

  • And comparing Galactus' galaxy sized black hole to the IG is a joke. Galactus' machine was like the elemental converter he normally uses, a utensil. Galactus doesn't need the elemental converter in the least, in fact he ate the Skrull throneworld without it. The feat here was Galactus' capacity to absorb energy, which is a product of his hunger, not the fact the he used a machine to expedite the process.

  • @LieKiller That's the only time Galactus has ever been on that level and it was because of the machine. When Galactus beats a Celestial without using it, that's a show of power. And in issue #226 when Galactus came for Thor's HELP with Ego, he said and I quote from page 17 of the book itself not a scan "You stood with Ego in that battle, and between you, you defeated me for a time". Where in the hell in that book did Galactus say he was weakened by hunger in the first fight. Where? What page?

  • @LieKiller If Galactus is more powerful than a Celestial, why could he not beat a mad Ego. What excuse are you Galactus fanboys going to use? I would never say Thor could beat Galactus without the Godblast. I would never say Thor could beat Ego without summoning all of the lightning in the galaxy in an all consuming Thermo Blast, which he did once. Galactus got wasted by Zeus during the Chaos War, Zeus, Vishnu, and Odin combined was nothing to Arishem the Celestial. Do the math.

  • @CoogieWarrior1964 actually during the chaos war, zeus was possesed by the chaos king. hence why he wasted galactus

  • @IamKingOfHearts Zeus was possessed by the Chaos King, but it did not increase his power. Go re-read Chaos War #3. That's a misconception and an excuse by Galactus fanboys, who I am beginning to believe are just as bad as Superman and Hulk fanboys.

  • @CoogieWarrior1964 who said im a galactus fanboy? im just saying after i reread the chaos war 3 4 times already

  • @LieKiller Odin has NEVER went into the Odin Sleep during a battle. He plans for it and all of Asgard knows he is going into it. It's a ritual. Matt Fraction got that wrong just like he got wrong or changed that Thor's final battle was with Odin's brother, and not the Midgard Serpent. If you are not smart enough to know Matt Fraction totally disregards Marvel's past continuum, you are like the mindless sheep that swallow and buy anything written in comics, especially if it supports their guy..

  • The whole idea of all these old gods like Zeus and Odin is completely played out. Cant we come up with something better than these same tired 2000 year old stories? We still see these old norse and greek gods in movies and video games to this day. Based on that alone I would say Galactus completely destroys Odin.

  • Galactus at full power, would just release an energy that would destroy the galaxy that right there is saying galactus would win , and the fact he survived so much shit that killed off other people

  • Hmmm, I really believe a fully powered Odin (just waking up from Odin sleep) could take on a starving or mid fed Galactus after all thor made a weak galactus run for the hills with a god blast, fully powered Galactus though? Gotta say Galactus.

  • @tonystarksghostface3 When Thor beat Galactus in issue 161, it never stated that Galactus was weakened or starving. He hurled comets at the living planet Ego. See the vid Thor vs Galactus Epic Battles. That is a myth started by a no-name writer in a backup story in Thor annual #14, and the Galactus fanboys ran with it. He could not except or believe that Thor beat Galactus. The story also claimed Thor used the power of Odin when clearly Thor used the Godblast. Proof the writer was an idiot.

  • @CoogieWarrior1964 Actually it was clearly stated in a later issue, by Galactus himself, that he was weakened by hunger when Thor drove him off with the godblast. That wasn't a retcon either, because Galactus doesn't feed unless he is hungry, and with Galactus hunger = reduced power levels. Galactus only does what he needs to survive, this is a long running theme with the character. The only people that deny Galactus' hunger in that ish are dyed in the wool Thor fanboys.

  • Odin got his shit pushed in by the celestials. Big G is a Celestial level and greater being.

  • @xXxMasterwafflexXx If a headbut from Odin knocks Galactus on his ass, I don't think he is on Celestials level. The combined power of three Skyfathers into one blast (Odin, Zeus, and Vishnu) is way more powerful than a headbut from Odin. And, that blast did nothing to Arishem the Celestial. Hell, Zeus alone laid out Galactus in the Chaos War. I hate to break all of the Galactus worshiping fanboys bubble, but he is not on a Celestials level. And, a lot of fanboys on YouTube have made that claim.

  • @CoogieWarrior1964 Galactus verse the entire celestial race >_>... it happened. another time Galactus was fighting that big ass galactus head machine, he was the only one left standing while the leader of the celestials fell along with others. Then death came in to stop it.

  • @xXxMasterwafflexXx What are you talking about? Name the book where Galactus beat the entire race of Celestials. He could not/has not beat one of them. Name the book. As far as I know, Galactus has never fought a Celestial. Do you even know what a Celestial is?

  • @CoogieWarrior1964: i don't know whether he knows but I don't know. why are they considered THAT powerful?

  • @houwie300 The Celestials are just that powerful. You know the power level of Sky Gods such as Odin and Zeus? Odin has fought Galactus to a standstill and Zeus laid out Galactus during the Chaos War. But, the combined power of Odin, Zeus, and Vishnu (another Sky God) into one blast was nothing to the Celestial Arishem. It did not faze him. When Odin entered the Destroyer with the combined life forces of every god in Asgard and grew to the size of the Celestials, he was defeated easily by them.

  • @CoogieWarrior1964: Thank's for the info. But didn't even Thor beat a Celectial with a god blast? I know, sometimes the strength of marvel's characters is not logical and one the hero beats enemies much stronger than him and the next time the hero loses to a weaker character...

  • @houwie300 Thor has never beaten a Celestial with the Godblast. Thor once destroyed the industructible casing around the brain of the largest Celestial ever seen with the Godblast. But, he did not beat him. Thor failed to destoy the brain of the enormous Celestial, which was his intent, and was forcefully removed. As powerful as the Godblast is, I don't think it could beat even a normal size Celestial. If Thor used the Godblast and he had the Odin-Force and the power of the Runes, then maybe.

  • @houwie300 The reason why the strength of Marvel's character's is not logical is because the writer's don't do their homework on the character. And, they are not concern about portraying the character's full abilities. The writer's are more concerned with shock value and writing something that has not been done before to enhance and build their overrated reputations. And, it is at an all time worse now. That's why in Thor's entire 50 year existence, he has used the Godblast less than ten times.

  • @CoogieWarrior1964 , "writers are more concerned with shock value & writing something never done before to enhance their overrated reputations" exactly man, there was recently a comic where Zeus got beat by elektra in 3 attacks because Hera took Zeus' powers away after he lusted after another chick & of course, a hulk fanboy used that to make Hulk look superior to Zeus regarding the comic where Zeus pounds on hulk! Comics today just don't cut it for me but 80s, 70s, & 60s comics were great!

  • @CoogieWarrior1964 galactus has fought the celestials a few times.

  • @SpockCanYouSaveme As I told the other guy that claims Galactus fought the Celestials, in which he did/could not respond, name the book and issue number.

  • @CoogieWarrior1964 Black Celestial arc(Fantastic Four 337-3341) Galactus ate Tiamut in this issue.

  • @SpockCanYouSaveme You guys on YouTube never cease to amaze me. That was not a battle in those FF books. Galactus built a machine the size of a Galaxy with a Black hole in the middle of it that was sucking everything into it and feeding the energy to him. That machine also sucked in the Black Celestial. THEY DID NOT FIGHT! Its like when the Leader made a machine that drew off the Hulk's gamma energy into himself. We alI know the Leader can't beat the Hulk in a fight. It's the same thing. OMG!!!

  • @SpockCanYouSaveme And from dealing with fanboys on YouTube, I know you are going to call that a win. It does not mean Galactus can beat a Celestial, He used a machine. Its like saying Thanos can beat Galactus because he beat them with the Infinity Gaunlet. Take away the Gauntlet and Thanos is toast. And as far as me googling it up myself. I said Galctus never fought/beat a Celestial. It's not on me to google it. The burden of proof is on you because you made the claim that they have fought.

  • @CoogieWarrior1964 Keep dreaming, at that point in the Black Celestial Saga Tiamut was a flea compared to Galactus. Galactus was consuming the power of the universe throughout it history, and Kang said that Galactus would go on to consume the OMNIverse. The Black Celestial used Galactus to accomplish something he himself could not, the destruction of a reality. The plan backfired in many ways though, it lead to his destruction and Galactus' capacity was a lot greater than the BC thought.

  • @CoogieWarrior1964 You'll find out soon enough, Galactus is about to take on a Celestial Host in FF.

And Odin's all-out kamikaze headbutt incapacitated himself, but not Galactus, who got right right, brushed it off and looked ready to rumble until Loki put the Galactus Seed back into the Worldtree, beyond Galactus' reach. Galactus just confirmed his opinion on the matter in FF, that the only thing that saved Asgard from his wrath was Loki basically hiding the seed from him.

  • Odin Would Fuck Up Galactus

  • Looks like The Mighty Thor #6 proved most of you wrong. Odin-1 Galatcus-0

  • @deanasaurs writers will be writers.....jack kirby would never let his most important (break through in comics) characters fall to some self centered asgard full of him self so called god

  • @DoubleFeo There are plenty of things that Kirby needed to worry about before who would win in a fight. : )

  • @deanasaurs What are you on about mate?

Odin headbutted Galactus, and knocked HIMSELF out... Odin lost, Galactus could have destroyed Asgard at will. Galactus is far above the Celestials, who once crushed The Destroyer, with ease, despite ONLY being a galactic threat, unlike Galactus, who is a Multiversal+ (= Omniversal) threat.

Not to mention this battle has occurred before, when Galactus allowed Dr. Doom to steal his powers and he crushed Odin with EASE, in exactly 1 scan.

  • @GalacticRavager You missed the point did you? You should go back and re-read the story. Look at the pannels. Odin charged the Destroyer with the Seed and then faked being knocked out after bringing the battle back to Earth so he could control the armor while using the hammer. Odin out smarted him. That's what he does.

  • @deanasaurs Odin said it himself: he had NO energy left to fight, so he SUMMONED the Destroyer.

The destroyer was once the herald of Galactus, and was also destroyed by one celestial, whilst being powered by ALL of Asgard; Thor / BRB 's hammer has only been able to make a TINY crack on his ARMOUR.

Just get out, and shut up.

  • @GalacticRavager LMAO. Even Thor didn't believe him. You missed the point. Go back and read it again. Just stop. You're arguing on the internet about who would beat up who. Calm down. This is most likely why you have poor interpersonal relationships.

  • @deanasaurs How did he win? He got annihilated.

Odin: "What stunt? I lacked the strength to keep braining that monstrosity so I summoned the Destroyer."

Are you in DENIAL or something? Galactus only fled the scene because he stopped sensing the seed.

  • @GalacticRavager My friend. He was lying. Thor then said something to the affect of ; Won't it be a sight to see when that strategy fails you? It was a ruse. You'll see it eventually so do yourself a favor and entertain the possibility that you're wrong and drop it. Then one day when you're sitting on the can and you're thinking about your life and realize you were wrong, you can take refuge in the fact that you quit while you were ahead.

  • @deanasaurs Please don't open your mouth when you don't even read the comics lol.

You don't know anything about the cosmic continuum, NEVER MIND THE FACT that you cannot even spell "Galactus" right...

Galactus is the living embodiment of the cosmos before our own and the next Multi-Eternity; plus, he has destroyed quite a few universes, even without the UN. He then used the UN to recreate these universes, but this goes to show how much of a menace he truly is. A primal force of the universe...

  • @GalacticRavager ...and yet, Odin won. Smarts doesnt it?

  • @deanasaurs Did ODIN say he was lying? Just because Thor said that was a strategic move and a lie, doesn't mean he is right, that's what he thinks; Odin said he did not have the power to fight Galactus, and that's the end of it.

I would rather believe in Odin than in Thor, who had nothing to do with what happened.

You don't get to decide what is true and what isn't, writers do; and you, partner, are not one.

  • @GalacticRavager How do you know I'm not? Presumptive. Also, I wouldn't need to be a writer to understand what a writer is putting out there. It's called comprehension. Look it up son cause you just made a fool of yourself.

  • @deanasaurs

Nope, you're just making assumptions... Just stop LOL assumptions (biased) =/= facts.

  • @GalacticRavager Not really. You should start double checking the meaning of words before you use them in conversation you don't keep showing your ignorance along with your insecurity.

  • @deanasaurs Listen up cunt: your understanding of a subjective sentence not written by you is biased, therefore, it cannot be used in an actual argument, because it may differ from the writer's perspective, whether you like it or not.

Thor said something concerning Odin's actions, Odin denied it. There is a 50% probability you're correct/wrong, hence this cannot be used in this argument.

Regardless of what Odin did, that doesn't change the fact he hurt himself badly when he headbutted Galactus.

  • @GalacticRavager I want you to know that I already won this argument sometime ago and have been playing your insecurities since. It's really too easy. You've resorted to name calling over comic books. This IS why no one likes you and you often feel alone. You're petty and none too smart either. I know you want that last word and I know it's pissing you off that you can't have it.

Odin headbutted Galactus to bring him back to Earth so he could use the Destroyer. Check and mate. Pay attention.

  • @deanasaurs That makes no sense at all. The Destroyer is weaker than Thor, even with the seed, it would be just like Hyperstorm... and The Destroyer CAN fly (source: marvel.com), as shown when he became the herald of Galactus.

Lold at your silly assumptions about my personality. None of them are true.

I have resorted to name calling? Once or twice, whereas you have resorted to ad hominem attacks in every single comment you've written. Angry/10

  • @GalacticRavager Okay, I'll debate this point with you but only to set this straight. I don't really think that something that can satisfy Galactus forever, and turn him into a God, is anything that you or I could decide has limitations. If the Seed powered the armor then it's more than enough to be something new in the Marvel Universe. As far as the Destroyer flying or not, I don't remember mentioning anything about that. Either way I would assume that Odin could fly it with the hammer.

  • @deanasaurs Read The Last Galactus story. He ascended to Multi-Eternity.

And yes, I agree, this arc was extremely flawed.

  • @deanasaurs Want me to show you the scan where Dr Doom wrecked Odin with the power of Galactus, in exactly HALF a scan? Pathetic.

  • Thanos had the infinity gems and the power of cosmic beings like Galactus, eternity and death, were just a tiny portion of Thanos's powers and guess what? The Living Tribunal ( a being with inmeasurable cosmic power) stoped Thanos like if he was his bitch, so you think "ODIN force " is stronger than the power of cosmic? Please read the comics more often or at least get your facts straight.

  • Galactus is force of nature, Odin hit galactus and they bouth fall down but Galactus heal himself much faster! Galactus is stronger! Silver surfer Vs. Thor. Surfer can lift thor hammer beacose surfer is noble one. So if Surfer do such thing one day he will beat thor wery easy. And Galactus and Surfer is more inportant in univeres than odin. Odin is not stupid, killing galactus will be his apocalypse. Living Tribual has 3 faces. One is Eternity, Second id Death, and 3 is Galactus.

  • @miskoni213

They both fell down, but Galactus got up nearly instantly, he didn't even have to recover. Odin knocked himself out, LITERALLY. If Galactus had physically attacked Odin, Odin would have died.

And let's not forget the fact Galactus was malnourished.

If Odin somehow killed Galactus (not physically possible), then Abraxas, the living embodiment of Destruction, would destroy the Universe and, eventually, the Omniverse.

  • Odin does not have the power to overcome Galactus since he is a part of the universe in which Odin came after. Thor has not actually defeated Galactus. Also the power cosmic (i.e. the universe itself) is greater then the Odinforce (Which is given to Odin by Yggdrsil the world tree.

  • @TheAnarchistWarrior7 dumbass, it was a metaphore you idiot.

  • @ertren6 ha what a pathetic come back lol. Gtfo you moron.

  • @TheAnarchistWarrior7 you must be one of the people that think iron can defeat World War hulk. Lol you overestimate the power of the weaker guys. Odin is not weak by anymeans, but compared to galactus, he may as well be an ant

  • @ertren6 bollox moron odin has the odinforce thors beaten galactes before and odins even more powerful than thor as thor once said the odinforce dwarfs all other powers such the power cosmic.

  • @clawsandwebs you're fucking bullshitting yourself now lol. A fed galactus will easily and i mean easily destroy almost anything. At a fed galactus, he's at the lvl of the celestials. And do you know what happened when the skyfathers fought them? do you?

  • @ertren6

The watchers are on par with the celestials; Galactus is MUCH stronger than the Watchers, as shown on the "What if Uatu had interfered?" comic book, in which Galactus killed Uatu with ease. The celestials, and I quote "are space gods whose conscious minds gestate in the form of living galaxies (...) Once the celestial is deemed worthy, this mind is encased by a full suit". They are mere Galaxies, whereas Galactus is an universe entire.

A fed Galactus is MUCH stronger than Eternity.

  • @ertren6

A Galactus with no respect towards Eternity, as shown when Tiamut >TAMPERED< (made it uncontrollable) with his hunger, can easily destroy Eternity himself (aka: a cosmos); He was going to consume the omniverse, before he used the UN on himself, therefore he is also stronger than Multi-Eternity, aka, the Multiverse. With or without the UN, it just doesn't matter, it is of no consequence.

  • @clawsandwebs No Idiot...Thor has just made Galactus flee from Asgard after he used all his power till the point his hammer broke he just drove Galactus away from his planet to save his people he indeed defeated "somehow" Galactus but if Galactus would stayed to the battle Thor would have been easily killed, besides Thor himself feared Galactus because Galactus IS stronger and Thor is like a bug. As for the Odin Force that's not the strongest power in the universe, the power of cosmic is.

  • @ertren6 I agree ENTIRELY with this statement. Galactus is far above Skyfather tier.

  • @TheAnarchistWarrior7 shut up lol. Go troll somewhere else. Because EVERYONE and i mean EVERYONE knows who'll win.

  • The World-Devourer, Balance, and Third Force of the Universe is beyond the ken of all planetary deities. Imagine if Galactus began to consume stars instead of planets. His power levels would shoot through the roof.

  • @GodConsciousness

Exactly, but he consumes planets out of need, to ensure that he does not die. He doesn't consume them to become stronger, but to survive. *thumbs up*

  • @GalacticRavager Then I believe it is high time for mighty Galactus not merely survive but to THRIVE.

  • @GodConsciousness That would be brilliant, but if he actually wanted to thrive, then he would start consuming entire universes, like he did on the Black Celestial arc.

  • OK, without reading all the comments, this one is not hard to call. Galactus (at anything near full strength) is at least the equal of a Celestial, and you know what Odin has nightmares about during the Odinsleep? The Third Host.

Odin is closer to being down at the level of the heralds than he is to being up at the level of their boss.

  • @DuhIdiot1

Probably in between, considering Odin's taken an attack from Surfer in the past,

    then easily knocked him out.

  • @rehzon Oh yeah, that's what I meant. No herald should stand a chance against the All-Father, but I like their odds against him better than his against big G.

  • @DuhIdiot1

Galactus has consumed the STRONGEST of all celestials before: Tiamut. Celestials are Galaxy+ tier, not multiversal+, nor universal+.

  • Odin has really been built up over the last couple of years, while Galactus has become a punching bag to show how powerful some writer's pet character may be. Fact is, the only characters who could really handle Galactus are abstract entities like Eternity or The Living Tribunal.

Odin? As tough as he is, he gets annihilated by Galactus.

  • @AaricRivad1

    Exactly.

  • @AaricRivad1

.. and even Eternity has been shown to be below Galactus (Galactus has destroyed the universe before when tiamut tampered with his hunger). Only being stronger than Big-G is the Living Tribunal himself.

  • @AaricRivad1

    omg lol

why dont u back ur shit up and tell us why galactus could beat odin?????

  • Galactus only feeds out of necessity that is why he is so fragile when he feeds. He doesn't eat planets for fun he eats because he has to. So in a sense he is on a very strict diet. Sure he gets beaten when he is hungry, unfed he is at his weakest. You know what Odin is like when he is at his weakest? He is in a coma-like state called the Odinsleep. So yeah who wins? Hungry Galactus or Sleeping Odin? Hmmmmm.... tough call...

  • @ViperXMambo

Malnourished Galactus got headbutted by Odin, and still won without doing shit. Lols, ridiculous, Odin is WEAK compared to the cosmic entity.

  • @GalacticRavager There is no doubt in my mind who is more powerful. But I do gotta criticize Galactus for picking fights when he is at his weakest even if he still has the advantage. I mean, he couldn't have finished eating that planet before he went off to find the Seed of the World Tree, knowing that he'd have to scuffle with Odin to get it?

  • @ViperXMambo Galactus is an obnoxious s.o.b, he thinks he's untouchable! that is primary weakness!

  • Ha Galactus is older than all of the Universe (Galatus unknowingly created the current universe trying to find a power sourse to stabilize his) (hint hint the big bang). Odin would lose only because his power would run out faster then Big G.

  • @ELBeastable are you high?

  • Oh, I'm gonna go w/ Galactus on this one. Odin is fierce on Earth terms but Galactus is cosmic and eats planets for breakfast, lunch and dinner.... and he snacks on moons, comets, asteroid belts, etc... lol

  • @TheAnarchistWarrior7 you piece of shit, shut the fuck up and go suck a dick you little cock sucker. You get your shit together you fucking moronic faggot, galactus will win, no matter what, so get off thors and odins dick and get your shit straight. I just wanted to curse your bitch ass out because you're dumb as fuck you little piece of shit.

  • @TheAnarchistWarrior7 no, galactus will destroy him with no problem. Get your facts straight.

  • @mrsarpong , who Odin? Yeah He took On silver surfer, thanos, & drax the destroyer at the same time & thanos was the only 1 who was sort of holding up to Odin!

  • Do Frieza vs Apocalypse.

  • Galactus wins. Odin falls asleep right before the fight.

  • Kill Galactus and you doom everything to death....

  • This fight is being decided right now in the comics. The Mighty Thor, a new run of this title has Odin right now as of issue 4 going toe to toe (or rather mind to mind) against Galactus, resulting in a nice treat of previously unseen secrets of both their pasts as each tries to destract the other. They are fighting over the heart of Yggdrasil, eating it would feed Galactus forever, but the Asgardians need it to repair the world tree and save the nine realms.

  • @TheRhuen NICE.

  • @TheRhuen Good to know. I've been out of comics for years (college n stuff) but am finding my back into them. I think it's all the comic book movies. lol Anyways, I've never been much of a Thor fan but the movie made me one. I was always more of an X-Men fan and collected all thousand X-titles lol But yeah, I'm gonna have to check out that issue now. I've always thought Galactus was bad-*ss so I'm definitely gonna check the up-coming Thor issues out.

  • can any one tell me what the music name pls

  • They are wearing such cool hats

  • Galactus

  • Yeah Odin is powerful no doubt (one of my fav) but hes way out of his league here odin is a skyfather galactus is a cosmic being! I still can't believe his power combined with Zues, Vinishu, & Osiris inside the Destroyer armoe still couldn't tangle with the celestials!

  • All this power from Galactus, and yet, he has been defeated.

  • @Eifler121 He has been defeated...when he is near death or starving, which saps his power hardcore. Galactus' hunger is his only real liability/weakness.

  • Finally, Galactus will destroy Odin at Full power or even in his weakend state, The Longer & further Odin is away from Asgard, the weaker he becomes. All Galactus would have 2 do is teleport Odin across time or space,Odin would die soon thereafter. Galactus also has the abilty 2 draw power from almost any source, including a mystical place like Asgard. Odin is powerful, but he is not on a level of Galactus. Galactus once killed & made Hercules into a pile of slime, then, whole again in 2nds!

  • Dr Doom stole power from Galactu's world-ship(TAA II), & was able to beat the original Beyonder. There's a childlike cosmic being " The Prote'ge", who has the ability to mimmick the powers of anybody, including the cosmic beings. The Living Tribunal & Eternity were having a conference about him. The Living Tribunal told Eternity "woe unto the multiverse, should he ever discover the power of Galactus". That Prote'ge briefly defeated the Living Tribunal,& called himself, the new One Above All !

  • Galactus attached a prepulsion unit on the south pole of Ego (The Living Planet) surface. It has inexaustible power & propels him throughout space,at the speed of Hyperspace! The unit cannot be removed by anything or anybody! Galactus has had the Destroyer construct as his herald,it had some of Odin's,Zue's,Osiri's & all pantheon Gods combined power. Galactus can stop, reverse time, resurrect the dead, & make Godlike beings out of nothingness! Galactus is power incarnet, power absolute.

  • Another dumb debate, about who can beat Galactus! Unless you are TOAA,The Living Tribunal,Eternity/Infinity,Death/Oblivion, you ain't doin shit to a fully powered Galactus! Galactus has absorbed Celestials, & Mephisto's entire Netherworld,Galactus has also eaten The Elders of the Universe. Ego,Thor,Firelord & Hercules repelled a weakend Galactus with Thor possessing the Odin-Force,they could'nt kill or really hurt him, they were only able 2 drive him away. Galactus is 1 of the Tribunal faces.

  • this is not even a debate galactus easily ha lol

  • Sounds like you do, given your replies...

  • @TheAnarchistWarrior7 You're still wrong...

  • On every single front, Galactus is bigger/grander than Odin in both concept and execution.

  • Galactus' home is Taa II, a space station as large as a solar system that has a STAR in its orbit. Simply downloading info from Taa II's computers have Korvac power on par with Odin.

Odin's home is Asgard, a city that easily found enough space to fit in Oklahoma.

Galactus' ultimate weapon is the Ultimate Nullifier, a weapon capable or erasing (and even recreating) multiverses.

Odin's ultimate weapon is the Destroyer, something that got easily slagged by a few Celestials.

  • Odin's OdinPower = created when his brother Vile and Ve granted their power to him when they were dying

Galactus' Power Cosmic = created when the Sentience of the Previous Universe merged its essence with Galan as their universe collapsed. Galactus went on to survive the Big Bang and was reborn into the current Marvel reality as the force that balances Eternity and Death, making him the third force of the universe.

Odin eats the golden apples of Idunn

    Galactus eats planets

  • @LieKiller Odin stole the Odinforce from Infinity.

  • @Eifler121 Odin took the power of his dying brothers Vilie and Ve and absorbed it into himself. That is the origin of the OdinPower. "Infinity" was a dark aspect of Odin that was somehow tapping into the cosmic being Infinity (a retcon) for a power boost. The OdinPower has nothing to do with Infinity.

  • @TheAnarchistWarrior7 By your standards Odin is just an alien who humans used to worship. Galactus is a far older, more fundamental force than Odin is. Galactus' whole concept is just a whole lot bigger in scope than Odin's. Odin is tied to the 9 realms, Galactus is integral to the entire Marvel universe... 9 realms included.

  • @TheAnarchistWarrior7 Galactus is a pillar of reality, third force in the universal triangle, the cosmic balancer, and is older than time. This trumps a pagan godling who have human worshippers a thousand years ago in a MAJOR way.

  • @TheAnarchistWarrior7 Doesn't answer the question.

  • @TheAnarchistWarrior7 How do you know they suck if you don't read them?

  • @TheAnarchistWarrior7 Well, at least you're man enough to admit you don't know.

  • @TheAnarchistWarrior7 You're comment only shows your ignorance. Galactus is far more than an alien. He was around before the known universe and Odin were even created. In the Marvel U, where this fictional battle takes, Galactus is a god. Odin, is just extremely powerful. You want an example of what Galactus is capable of? Read Marvel's Annihilation storyarc. He takes out half a galaxy. What has Odin, mythical or comic, done to compare with that?

  • galactus all the way, one of the greatest mistakes of marvel this year was to bring back odin, fuck him and bring back ades, i love the way him and thor fight side by side, and i must say ades was way more fun then heracles, its really silly the way marvel tryed to make hercules some bigshot, he was a strong guy and that is pretty much all that herc was in the comics, i think that the surfer could take down odin.

  • Galactus was taking down Celestials left in right while Odin could leave a scratch on one. So Id say Galactus.
