I admit, I laughed when you see him jump when he realises the truck is rolling. This is a runaway (driver left motor running) compared to rollaway (engine off, parking brake failed). This probably cost the driver his job.

I've never had a mail truck roll/run away on me. But...as far as how mechanically safe they are...I've driven them with no brakes, bad master brake cylinders, almost catching fire, etc. I'd almost rather drive my personal vehicle with AWD from the passenger side with no seat belt and all the mail in the driver's seat. At least then u have a radio, working gas gauge, brakes, and decent tires.
He finally FINALLY made a move to go after the LLV ??? This guy has to be THE luckiest carrier in the US. The LLV goes backwards in a complete circle apparently w/o hitting anything and STILL the guy has not made a move toward the vehicle. unbelieveable !

There are people working 9 to 10 hours a day and only getting paid for 8 on a daily basis - followed, timed, watched, harrassed and provoked to no end. They eat shit, work free overtime, from 400 to 600 possible deliveries, take it and come back to work the next day - EVERYDAY. It's only a matter of time before OSHA or the Dept of Labor come and shut that shit down. Yeah. It's true.

if the parking brakes are not functionning correctly, you shoulndt be on the street whit that truck that's all.... i'm pretty sure the guy dindt even turn off the engine. just left it on "park" and got out.... before you say i'm a scumbag, let me tell you i'm a mailman too! i understand this is a mistake, but man, this is wrong.
The person in that minivan was a dick... i dont care what anyone says. Did they really have a reason to sit there acting like they own the place?

also when they park their trucks normally they turn their tire all the way toward the curb to stop from the car driving away
